I applied and was approved for a $850 loan on 7/21/24. Which I had entered my account number in wrong. (I put the checking account code "001" at the beginning.) The funds got returned by the bank and I had to send them a bank statement to verify my bank account. The funds were then sent out again on 7/25/24. I never received the money. And when I logged into my account on their website, they had entered the account number in wrong. It was a clerical error on their part. So they said we would just wait or the funds to return and then they would fix the account number and reissue the funds. And that it would take two business days. Those days came and went. So I called, and they told that money shows it was received according to their computer. I told them I would send them a screenshot of my account, and I did. But, they needed another bank statement. So now, we are on the 3rd of August, and I sent them another statement proving there were no funds deposited into my checking account from them. And now, it's the middle August and they still haven't cleared it up. And I am having trouble getting help elsewhere with that "open" account. They have the proof. I just want them to close it. With a zero balance because I never received anything but the runaround from them.

I received a call from MRC ************ stating I took a loan with CashNet USA back in February **************************************************************************************** for money owed. This *** had my ssn and said i need to take care of this balance before he takes action against me and before the fees turn into a point of no return for me and that I will never be able to pay it off. I have not taken a loan with CashNet USA period. Then the *** said he will put this on my credit report and it will never come off. It is a 10 year old debit that I know nothing about, I would have never taken a payday loan with CashNet USA, as I had a well paying job. I want the calls to stop and this is not my debit. This *********** does not even exist, the number is not listed any where.

Got a lone for $2000 and was charged a service fee of $300, ok that was understandable. They put me on a monthly payment but decided to start charging $10 a day for interest thats an extra $300 a month added. So if $558 is my monthly payment really only $258 is going towards the payment.

On July 2, 2024, *********************** opened a new $2,150.00 limit Line of Credit with CashNetUSA. When ************************ applied for the line of credit, she was presented with and required to agree to the CashNetUSA and Terms and Conditions (Agreement) if she wanted to proceed with the application process;she acknowledged her acceptance by electronic signature on the application dated May 14, 2024. Before she entered the agreement, CashNetUSA disclosed the terms and conditions of the Line of Credit including the Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for Cash Advances, Paying Interest, and Fees.  The fees and interest applicable to a cash advance were fully set forth in the agreement, a copy of which was provided to her (via email) when she opened the account.

As set forth in Ms.Washingtons Line of Credit Agreement, interest will be charged each day on the principal that is scheduled to be outstanding. Please note that daily interest is applied only to the amount borrowed that is outstanding on that day (i.e.,interest is charged on principal only and not on fees or accrued interest).

As set forth in Ms.Washingtons Line of Credit Agreement, there is a transaction fee for every advance requested.

As set forth in Ms.Washingtons Line of Credit Agreement, she is required to make at least the minimum payment every billing period she carries a balance.  Whenever a billing period closes, *********************** receives an email notification that her statement has been generated. This statement will detail her scheduled payment obligations, including the due date and minimum payment amount.

Since establishing the line of credit, ************************ has requested one (1) cash advance and she has made a timely payment.

Based on our review, *********************** contacted our customer support team to inquire about how the line of credit works. In addition, she contacted us to inquire about the amount she would be required to pay back (i.e. her minimum payment) for her cash advance of $2,150.00 that she requested. As such, we provided an estimate of her minimum payment.

We have reviewed Ms.Washingtons account, and our review concludes that her account has been serviced in alignment with the signed Agreement.  Therefore, we will not be able to honor her request.

CashNetUSA values *********************** as a customer and strives to provide the ultimate customer experience. As such, we ask that she contact our customer support team at ************ if she has any additional questions.

I applied and took a loan from this people based upon my financial need. I new I should not have bc at the time they did not give me a list of when future payments would be due and the amounts of these payments. I reached out to their customer service today and spoke to ********* who told me she could not provide me with such information bc the payment had to be calculated with interest at the beginning of each month. I was offered a 3 month period of time where my payment would be reduced but she could be not tell me what the reduced payment would be. I have enclosed a screenshot of my statement which does not provide the appropriate disclosures for interest and future payment amounts as well as how long it would take to payoff this debt at the rate that I am paying now.

      Complaint: 22008493

I am rejecting this response because: It is not acceptable to not make available a specific pay schedule to the client. Currently, the only information a person is given is that the amount of the payment due is not available until a statement is issued. Essentially, the company can charge whatever they want. When I spoke to customer service, I was told that I could pay half of the payment due for two months but the customer service person was not able to advise the amount of the original payment in order to determine what the reduced payment amount would be. This policy does not appear to be inline with fairness in credit lending laws.

The company did not make an attempt to resolve the complaint short of repeating information that has already been given to client.

      Complaint: 22008493

I am rejecting this response because: I have never seen a section that offers me the opportunity to see what my payment would be upon withdrawal and there's no information on the statement which indicates that if the minimum payment is made, this debt will be paid off by information. There is no available tool which gives an accurate estimation of payment. Essentially, the client simply waits until they receive a statement. Even on the statement, this is no clear explanation of how a payment is calculated. If these loan payment amounts were provided at the time of signing, I would have declined the loan.

On my credit report it says a collection has been opened. It says: Between Jun 15, 2024 and Jun 25, 2024, a new account in collections was added to your report. The collection agency is CONSUMER ADJUSTMENT. The original creditor was CASHNETUSA. I called CASHNETUSA not recognizing this charge and was told I do not have an account with them opened or closed and do not owe them any money.I googled consumer adjustments and got the number ************. The man that answered the phone just wanted to read me about payments. A script off a piece of paper. I told him I did not want to discuss payments. I wanted to find out why this was on my credit report. What was the date and what was the amount? He could not provide either. When I asked him if he was consumer adjustments, he said they answer for them. So I asked again are you consumer adjustments and again he said we answer for them so I said what is the name of your company and he said we answered for consumer adjustments. I hung up. This needs to be removed my credit report . Also, I see several other complaints towards consumer adjustments that look just like my complaint. How are they getting away with this? If I didnt take the time to keep up with my credit report, I never wouldve seen this.

It is always our prioritized goal to adhere to and comply with all regulatory requirements while conducting regular and collection business. We train our staff accordingly and follow the collection guidelines set forth by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

While we sympathize with Ms.Suchers situation, we cannot take action because the complaint is not related to CashNetUSA. We recommend that they follow the link below to the ************************s web site for information on how they can protect themselves against this type of activity.

      ***************************************************************************

We also recommend, if **************** believes that she is a victim of identity theft, we strongly encourage she file an identity theft report online with the ************************ (***) at ******************************. The *** can provide suggestions on how to protect her personal identification information going forward and how to alert other agencies, such as credit bureaus, that her identity information may be compromised.

We hope that this response resolves this complaint and answers any questions that your office has. If we can provide any additional information, please contact us.

On March 2, 2024, ************** opened a $1,500.00 limit line of credit with CashNetUSA. Before he entered into the agreement, CashNetUSA disclosed the terms and conditions of the Line of Credit including the Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for Cash Advances, Paying Interest, and Fees. ************** then signed his agreement acknowledging that he understood and accepted the terms and conditions associated with the Line of Credit. The fees and interest applicable to a cash advance were fully set forth in the agreement, a copy of which was provided to him (via email) when he opened the account. ************** signed an Automated Clearing House (ACH)authorization allowing credits and debits to be made to his bank account.

************** indicated that his pay frequency is biweekly (ex.Every other Friday) therefore, the repayment dates were scheduled as biweekly. Please note, ************** has the option to contact our customer service department via phone, or email to request to change his due date. At CashNetUSA, we require at least two business days advance notice to make changes to an account.

As set forth in **************** line of credit agreement, customers are required to make at least a minimum payment every billing period where a balance is outstanding.

In addition to disclosing the charging structure from the outset, we keep our customers informed by supplying periodic statements. Whenever a billing period closes, ************** receives an email notification that his statement has been generated. This statement will detail his scheduled payment obligations, including the due date and minimum payment amount.

Since establishing the account, ************** has requested four (4) cash advances.

Please be advised that ACH payments are sent to the bank for processing one business day before the due date. In addition, if a due date falls on a weekend or Holiday, the payments is scheduled to be due the business day prior. In addition, there are times when the bank will place the funds on the business day before the due date.

Based on our review, ************** had a payment of $227.95 due on June 28, 2024. As such, on June 21st,and June 25th a reminder email was sent to ************** advising that the payment was due and the payment will be debited from his bank account on file.

As mentioned, ************** may contact us at least two business in advance to make any changes to the account.

CashNetUSA values ************** as a customer and strives to provide the ultimate customer experience. As such, we ask that he contact our customer support team at ************ if he has any additional questions.
