I have no issues with any of the offices that I have visited, but I can tell you your corporate services really need help, being a customer service professional I even tried to apply to take over that area and resolved their issues. I visited an office back in March and paid my co-pay using me FSA account cc, it went through and I have the receipt of payment. But according to your corporate office it has not been paid, so I received a call from them. Well calling back is a nightmare in itself you just can't get through. SO I went to my local office (*******) where the staff is over the top nice to work with. I gave them the receipt for the payment and they faxed it into corporate, did that stop the calling and the emails and texts???? NO NO NO> I have been getting them consistently up to 4 times per week. My email are being responded to that they have the receipt and escalated the issue and calls will stop. BUT they have not, I am at my **** end with these. I am about to visit my lawyer to stop the harassment. WAIT and this on a $25 co pay, really for that and the time they are spending is rediculous when it was PAID IN FULL on the day of the service!!!!VillageMD

Referrals took nearly a month. Some never were processed. ************** said that the insurance doesn't like it when you ask for so many referrals. I talked to BCBS and they said that wasn't true.VillageMD

To whom it may concern, I'd like to file a formal complaint about one of your employee's (*****) based out of the **********, **. location. This lady is the most rude and uncompassionate human being I've encountered. I'm mind blown at the fact that you all allow such person to work in this industry, under your practice. She has the manners of a juvenile delinquent and should not be in a patient-facing position. She called us to let us know that ****************************************** would be out of office during our scheduled appointment. So I asked for some alternatives the same week. She said there's nothing and gave us a date a few weeks out. I explained to her she's senior and needs her medication to be managed sooner than, but this woman failed to understand and care. I had her on speaker phone in the truck and my wife was shocked at how rude this lady was being. I asked for her manager's name (******/******) and ask to be transferred to her. She flat out said no...When I asked why, she said "You can call back and speak to her, but I'm not transferring you." What kind of method of conducting business is this??? For god's sake, you're running a medical practice. Not a DMV. Learn to communicate better. At least at that level of a high schooler . I myself run two civil engineering firms in the ******* and ******** area. If any of my employees ever talked to client like this, I would immediately terminate them. Shame on her, but even more shame on management for failing to train and manage an employee properly.VillageMD

Ill start by saying that my doctor is AMAZING! However, every single staff member there is extremely unprofessional and rude. From the very moment I walked in for my first appointment, *** never felt comfortable or welcomed. Called close to 20 times over 2 days with no answer, so I messaged on the app and got quick and RUDE responses, only for someone to call me and be rude AGAIN! She called me a b**** under her breath and I was never even rude . That is completely uncalled for and unacceptable!! I work in the medical field and would never treat anyone the way Ive been treated. Unfortunately Ill have to find a new provider because I refuse to be treated like Im worthless for no reason. That entire office staff needs to be fired ASAP!VillageMD

1 starJust try calling them. Over an hr on hold. Finally hung up. Tried again. Same. They took a 45 year accredited, highly esteemed Internal Medicine practice in ******* and what was a 5 minute phone call to make an appointment is now an on hold experience for an hr or more and a website that screws up appointments. Even the remaining doctors that sild out are disgusted. And no place or phone number to call to complain or write to. Their Chicago HQ # is not set up to take calls of this nature. Msnagement does NOT want to hear about major problems.Maybe ************** shoul d shut them down.Review fromAnn M.

This is a complaint about the answering service person named "******" would not disclose her last name. She was hostile as soon as she answered the phone. She talked right through me, had no listening ability at all. She was looking at an old profile for the medicine I was calling about, Insisting SHE was correct, "only doing my job". I had ********** representative on the line with me who tried to intervene with no success. She agreed to call the MD on call, but said he may not be able to do anything. She was not at all helpful and makes me ******* if I need to find a different Doctor.Ann M.

1 starI am STILL trying to fix my "In-Network" two visits at Village Medical from 10/14/22 & 10/30/22. My husband found this amazing NP at V/M back in Sep 2022. So, we both start going. I had 2 visits & 2 labs. He had like 4 visits. At least 4-5 of these visits insurance declined ALL from those visits due to a provider not providing a diagnosis code. It even states it on the **** statements sent me for each visits claim. Since early Nov 2022 I have been fighting for my 2 visits diagnosis to be fixed. Oct 2022 for my husband's visits. His shockingly, just got fixed and I just paid what was due a week ago. Not for mine. **** calls me yesterday, states V/M billing **** told them all mine is correct after their review. Her hands are tied, she's closing my case as she can't get V/M to fix my bill. That U can request chart notes & speak to my provider or file a complaint of quality of service. This is SO upsetting. What a scam V/M. Working around people's insurance to get more money? Is that what this is all about? How shady!! I loved our new NP and I just established as a new patient. NOW, I need to go reestablish elsewhere because you can't bill insurance/code properly. I have spent too many months TRYING to resolve this issue. Also, the lab from my B/W is now sending me a bill directly, where some of it 'should' have been covered under my insurance, had they billed correctly. I've already warned co-workers stay away. Great NP there but horrific billing.Review fromDaniel M

1 starThe Village Medical my husband visited has no idea how to read a transferring doctor's notes, check ******** benefits before providing a service, or communicate with the patient what out of pocket expenses will occur. How can you have a simple ******** wellness exam with a single vaccination, then receive an out-of-pocket bill of over nine hundred dollars from a primary care doctor? This is negligence (utter failure to take proper care) and we will never return to a Village Medical Clinic. Forget about calling the clinic, billing department, or even sending an email to the billing department - you will not receive a response after months and months. No one is interested in resolving this with any type of fairness.Review fromJagdip D

1 starI visited local ********* Pharmacy at ********************************************************** and saw this Village Medical housed inside it.I walked and asked if they would accept my insurance.I was told yes and so I booked the appointment.I had a great doctor. I made few visits and was prescribed a specialist visit too, They checked that the specialist accepts my insurance. And all of a sudden, I started getting bills! My insurance is zero deductible, so there should not have any bill.I called the local clinic. They said call headquarter scheduling department. They just did not want to get involved. The headquarter scheduling department blamed the local location.I still keep getting bills.Nobody is interested in resolving the issue.I want the bills to be made as per my insurance.
