I purchased a vehicle from Midway Dodge Incorporated II 12/16/24. The day I purchased the vehicle I made the salesman aware that my driver's side headlight was out. He told me it was a simple bulb change, come to find out it wasn't. The mechanic said my vehicle had wiring damage. He said there was a shortage somewhere. He told me to bring my vehicle in for service and that it would be fixed. I brought the vehicle in and was called later that day and was told that my vehicle had been repaired. The same night of picking up my vehicle I noticed the problems still weren't fixed and I told the salesman. I told me to bring the truck in on a later date and that the problem would be fixed. The problem never was fixed and I received a ticket for a blown headlight. Macrh 15th my truck's check engine light came on and my vehicle would not accelerate pass 25mph. I took it back to the dealership, they asked if I could bring the vehicle in for inspection on a later date. I told them I wasn't driving the vehicle anymore and want them to fix the problem. My vehicle set for one before they sent it to another dealership to look at. The dealership they sent it over to never looked at my vehicle so they went back to pick it up and do the work themselves. I received a call on 4/2/25 from the service department telling me that I'm going to need a new transmission. I asked the gentleman "so what are you guys going to do about it?" The gentleman told me I'm looking at $3,000 for the transmission and $1,000 for labor. I don't feel like I owe them anything since I was sold a terrible vehicle and I've been asking them to fix things literally since day 1 of my purchase. I paid $2,500 as a downpayment and I paid $517 on my first car note. The vehicle went out literally under 3 months.

When Mr. ***** Springs purchased his vehicle from Midway Dodge.  He did not buy an extended warranty.  The vehicle at the time of purchase came with a 15-day/500 warranty on the engine and the transmission.  3 months after the purchase, ****************** notifies Midway Dodge of an issue with his vehicle regarding the transmission.  Although ****************** has no warranty, Midway Dodge agree to diagnose his vehicle at no charge.  It is confirmed that ***** Springs' vehicle needs a transmission.  Midway Dodge has provided ***** Spring a quote of the repair.  Midway Dodge has made an adjustment to the repair cost, and is offering ***** Springs a discount in good faith of $1913.49.

    Sincerely,

    Midway Dodge Management

I am rejecting this response because: I dont feel like I should be responsible for a vehicle thats supposed to inspected by the dealership. Speak with the salesman **** h*** tell you I texted him about my dissatisfaction.

I purchased a 2009 ****** Pathfinder from Midway Dodge on March 29, 2025. The car was shipped to me on that day and arrived March 30. This was the first time that I was able to review the car in person, and I immediately noticed the driver side rear suspension area did not look like it should. I immediately took it to a repair facility that reviewed the damage on Monday, March 31 and they determine that the rear suspension on the driver side was damaged and unsafe. The wheel was only held on by the axle nut and the bearing and other parts are disintegrated or broken. I tried unsuccessfully on Monday to reach their service department to verify if they had done a safety inspection and identify this issue without telling me. in a bad state. Immediately drove it to a repair facility and was told that it was unsafe to drive due to the fact that the rear wheel was only being held on by the axle nut and that the rest of the rear suspension was broken or disintegrated by rust. I called repeatedly to talk to the service department to find out if they had identified this issue and not told me. But was unable to get an answer. I had the same result with the salesman **** *******, that sold me the car. I request that they refund me the total cost of the car and the shipping Due to the fact that the car is totally unsafe to drive and unfixable.

I purchased a car on March 7, ******************************* to drive the car off the lot I had to have full coverage insurance The salesman that sold me the car said to me I can get you started with direct auto insurance for $401 he then gave me a declarations paper with all my information on there . On March 15, I was involved in an accident, which I was not at fault. I was told to start a claim with the at fault parties insurance also file a claim with my insurance so I have more coverage. I called my insurance direct auto to file a claim, and I was told that I could not be identified by Vin number policy number address or name. I then contacted the salesman and the dealership about the matter. They told me they never had anything like this happen and that they called to check andsee what was going on. Days went by without any response. I finally got a text from the salesman saying that can I start my coverage at a later date I said no somethings not right . I didnt receive a text from my guy named ********* ******** the salesman. Saying he will give me my money back by Friday. I proceeded to head to the dealership to ask manager whats going on. He also gave me the same decorations paper that the salesman gave me andtold me he dont know whats going on. I believe I was fraud for my money and I am asking for the dealership to pay me my $401 back also pay for my car damages or pay off my car loan which under $20,000 since they gave a fake insurance decorations paper had me thinking I was insured but wasnt.

    Hi

I would like to reject because they took money from me and never tried to reimburse me anything the fact of matter is they had a salesman sell me insurance without a license and thats against the law plus they knew about the fake declarations paper he gave me also management knew about it and also sent me the declarations. Unless they refund me my $401 dollars or give me my down payment back I want to proceed with the complaint . They have not offered me any help they wanted me to put down more money when they illegally took money and had me thinking I was insured when I wasnt.

I wanted to refinance my car they ran my credit and they asked me did I want to shop around? I didnt mind shopping around. Thats what landed me on the 2022 Tesla model three I was told that my ********** Tiguan was going to be a trade-in and it should not the price down on the Tesla. They test drove my Tiguan and they liked it. They had me called ********** credit which who I pay my car note to, to get a 10 day pay off. I left my car with them and I brought the second key back the next day. I was under the impression that it was a trade-in because thats what I was told. Every day after that purchase on the Tesla I was getting a call from ********** telling me to pay my car note. I told ********** that I just traded in my car and they should send in the payoff. I was getting calls from ********** for two to three months telling me to pay off my car note. I finally looked at the documents and noticed they did not put the ********** as a trade-in. I was calling them to ask them where is the car and they did not know where the car was. I was told to report the car stolen. I was also told to blow up my Tesla for an insurance claim. I pressed them every day by going up there and calling until I got the car back. I finally got the car back after 3 months. They actually dropped it off to my house, which wasnt the part of the plan. We were supposed to pick it up from the dealership. When I got the car back, they added 4000 miles to the car. The car also smelled like cigarette smoke and it was filthy. I also was getting ticketed for using tow rolls and I dont use tow rolls. Now i'm stuck with 2 cars and two car notes and my credit has went from the 700s to the 500s.

When ****** ******** purchased his vehicle from Midway Dodge, it was done without a trade-in.  The bill of sale and contract both reflect only the purchase of a Tesla.  There is no trade-in vehicle on the documents.

It was supposed to be a trade in with the 2019 ********** Tiguan, but they didnt put the ********** in as trade in and told my they did. They took my ********** and both set of keys and I gave them a 10 day payoff quote for the ********** as they asked for. If it wasnt a trade in why would they take the ********** for 3 months? With them having the **********, they added ***** miles on it. I also have proof of the dealer saying they took my car and tried to do 3rd party deal with **** to get the car paid off.

Purchased a 2015 Dodge Ram Promaster at this location in May 2024. Immediately driving the vehicle off the lot check engine lights came on. I live an hour away from this dealership and was afraid it was going to break down on my way home. The dealership was closed at this time so I had no way of taking it back. I called the next day and spoke to management. They came and picked up the car for servicing. I had to call every day for an update. I finally received my vehicle back a week later only to have the same issues again. I had to take the vehicle back once more. This time I gave them a list of issues. They claimed to have fixed all of them. It is now 5 months later I took this vehicle to a different location close to home for a low coolant issue. This dealership found numerous issues. I now have to replace the entire engine. This expense is almost the price I paid for the vehicle.

I financed a 2016 Dodge Journey on 9/13/24, at Midway Dodge and started to have problems with the vehicle on 9/15/24. I took the vehicle back to Midway Dodge on 9/16/24. I contacted the service department on Friday 9/20/24 and was told that Midway would not repair my vehicle. I was accused of riding over a cinder block and causing the problems to my vehicle. I had not rode over a cinder block nor have I had accident. I was told the vehicle has a missing censor and the bottom is supposedly crushed. However the censors on a 2016 Dodge Journey is located on the top and sides of the engine. It would be nearly impossible to displace a censor on the engine riding over a cinder block. It would be more likely to affect the muffler, catalytic converter, and or the hoses that carries fluids to different components of the engine. All of which were not named as being damaged. Midway Dodge purposely sold me a vehicle with a bad engine and has defaulted the ****** ******** Warranty. In addition to giving me false information regarding what organization is the arbitrator for Midway. On the arbitration agreement BBB is named but the another organization is associated with the phone number an address stated on the form.

On September 13, 2024, ***** ******* purchased a 2016 Dodge Journey free of any defects and physical damage.  A few days later, ***** ******* brought the vehicle into service due to a check engine light (see attachment for mechanics notes).  Upon review, the vehicle had significant physical damage underneath by the front bumper, that same impact affected the components in the vicinity which included the ambient temperature sensor, radiator, and condenser.  Midway Dodge did nothing wrong here, and should not be liable for repairs due to physical damage.  We will gladly assist ***** ******* with a discount for the repairs, but we cannot fix the vehicle for free due to the physical damage that occurred after the customer took possession of the vehicle.

I purchased my first car from Midway Dodge Dealership on January 18 of 2023. My car didnt make it a full year without completely fail on me and not working properly. I have called them to trade in my car or get another one. Nobody ever return my car at all. So I ended up getting it fix myself. Then in December of last year before Christmas my transmission went out and since I had warranty I decided to take it to them to fix it. But since I was out the city I been trying to find a way to bring my car into the city and finally on Feb 19 of 2024 I towed my car to midway dodge. They took a whole month in half close to two month to fix it. I did pay $200 for my deductible from my warranty. Got it back in mid March of this year 2024 give it 3 weeks and it fails again so on April 15 I take it back they fix in 2 weeks in half. Then by June 18 of 2024 it fails again so I take back to them. They kept it for 2 month close to 3 months. They wanted to do an engine tear down when the engine is in good condition. They wanted me to do a deposit of $1,200 in case the warranty didnt cover it. So I took my car to another shop to get a 2nd opinion June 25. That shop looked over my car and confirmed that the engine is good. That it was just the transmission. So since my warranty denied that shop to fix my car. I had to take it back to Midway Dodge cause they are responsible for it. My car had bolts missing and bolts that were loose in the transmission that Midway Dodge didnt put back and thats why my car failed. When I tried to get an estimate on how long it will take nobody was able to give me an estimate and they kept throwing me back and forth. Until final on Sept 5th the manager approved the work to be done on my car. I should mention that Midway Dodge called me two week before August ended that ********** had my car and that I should deal with them. Metro **** received my car with no information of me at all until I had to go to that shop myself.

I contacted the dealership and asked for this one salesman because when I would take my car in for service he was the only person who would speak, I asked him about the 6200 dollars cash back and the ***** dollars union program, he said he would call me back, after talking to him he stated yes so I gave him my information because I didn't want to be sitting there all day, he called me back and told me to come that i was approved, after doing the paperwork after I got home I read over it, there's no 6200 cash back nor the 2000 for my union program. I spoke with the financial company and they told me to take the car back because my sale was based on lies, so I want to return the car

I dropped the car off and gave the key to the manager, I also asked him was it anything that I needed to sign he stated No so I gave him the key and left. He seen me get in a truck and assumed it was mine because he stated something about it, two weeks later my sister texted me about a key being in the mailbox that we haven't used in 4yrs. Because housing change where we get our mail from, the car was left with the driver window down in the back and the doors unlocked. The drug dealers thought it was a stolen vehicle. Bought a used car on April 1, 2024. Spent three hours at the car dealership. Drove the car home, less than an hour. Car wouldn't start. Contacted Midway Dodge the very next day regarding the situation. They are going to tow the car back to the dealership. After calling them back and forth for days, getting the runaround. On Saturday, their service department called meand said the alternator went out. They will replace it witha new one on Monday. Car should be fixed. Later on that day ****** called me and said they needed a few more days to repair the car. He doesn't know what the problem is. I advised him that **** from their service department called me to tell me what was wrong with the car. At this point, they have the car and my money. Im looking for a refund of all the monies I put down for purchase. I'm tired of getting the runaround from this company. The lemon cost me $8000.

The day after ******************* purchased her vehicle, she notified Midway Dodge that her vehicle would not start.  Within a couple of hours, Midway Dodge sent help to *********************** home to see if the vehicle would start with a jump start.  The vehicle would start, but not hold a charge.  Midway Dodge sent a tow truck the following morning to pick up the vehicle and have it towed by to Midway Dodge.  Midway Dodge's service department determined the alternator needed to be replaced.  The alternator was replaced, and again the vehicle did not hold a charge or produce proper voltage.  Midway Dodge proceeded to send the vehicle to a certified ********************** Facility, Ettleson Cadillac Buick GMC.  Please see the attachment for the work that was performed that ultimately fixed the issue.  ******************* was contacted by Midway Dodge on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, that her vehicle was ready for pickup.  ******************* picked up her vehicle on Friday, April 19, 2024, and was provided with the same copies attached, showing the work that was performed on her vehicle.  ******************* was accompanied by her daughter, and son-in-law in law when she came to pick up her vehicle.  Her son-in-law test drove the vehicle to confirm the repairs were properly done.  Before leaving with her vehicle, ******************* asked if Midway Dodge would extend her 15 day, 500-mile warranty that came with the purchase of the vehicle, since her vehicle was being serviced for the past two weeks.  Midway Dodge gladly agreed to her request, and extended the Engine and Transmission warranty until May 4, 2024, or ***** miles on the odometer.  ******************* was satisfied and left the dealership happy with her vehicle.
