I had a huge issue with my Dyson v10 animal and had called before my warranty expired to troubleshoot well that didnt work so I called a few days later and I was 3 days out of warranty. They made an exception and got manager approval to send the dyson v11 animal which is comfortable (I asked for whatever is comparable to what I had, I did not want the regular v11 as those do not work for me) they said mail in your vacuum and once we receive that they will ship out my new one. I mailed out the vacuum (I paid for shipping which they said they wouldnt reimburse. The label they gave me wasnt a paid label) I have since called 3 times to check on status on my new and old vacuum. The received my old one on July 23, 2024 and have not mailed out my new one. They keep saying since were doing an exception have to get it approved for a v11 animal which they already have done since the first time calling !! This is ridiculous. I will be posting on the BBB and all socials. Literally disgusting and unprofessional.Review from Tracy B

I cannot understand why it takes up to 14 days for a refund. It didnt take 14 days to charge my card. I bought 2 air purifiers but decided I only needed one. I will never buy another Dyson.Customer service can make or break a business. Someone need take another look at the return policies. This is by far the worst company. Its been half a year and all I needed was to have my motorhead brush replaced. Months go by and no replacement that I was promised. I told them they need to send a whole vacuum so I can get the part. They made me send it back to them just to get one part replaced and then they sent me the replacement and a different part was missing! Then we did the whole process again, the next time they promised I would have that part in the box.......NOPE! I was out of a vacuum multiple times and still without a part. They promise me that it won't happen again. They don't have any of their parts in stock and their customer service has no control and just try to get you off the phone because they can't help you. I'm on a call now and you can hear the reps dealing with angry customers. I've been on the phone for 1.5 hours with no solution. You will spend so many hours on the phone trying to get something simple taken care of that you will go insane. I can honestly say I have never experienced customer service this bad in my 41 years. First time I have ever left a review like this. I am searching for a way to hold Dyson accountable. Stay away.Review from Todd R

It's really astonishing how bad this company treats their customers. I've been without a working vacuum since April. First, they sent me the wrong part, then sent me another non-working part to fix the problem. Eventually the agreed to send me a new vacuum after I complained for the 10th time. It's been 6 weeks and still no replacement has arrived. This is a nightmare company to deal with as they've outsourced all customer service and are totally unresponsive.Review from Julie B

We bought a brand new Dyson Vacuum XL (our 5th Dyson in a lot of years) and the wheel broke off of the cleaner head. We called and they didnt have the part but said they would email us when it came in. Two weeks later we got the email and called them right away but they were already out of the part again. This was June 5, 2024. As of July 29, 2024 we still do not have a timeframe for the new part and we are using a broken vacuum that we paid full price for. Their next solution was to send us a new vacuum but we would have to send the broken one to them first. This would require me to go 2 weeks without a vacuum and I have two German Sherpard's. The amount of dog hair that would accumulate in 2 weeks would be insane. **************** just keeps reading from their prompt over and over that this was the only option for us. I think it is terrible customer service when you ask the customer to go 2 weeks without a vacuum when the customer trusted that the product they bought would work.Review from Anthony A

Purchased a Dyson Outsize+ back in May 2024. After 2 weeks of light vacuuming, I started having problems with the unit shutting off/on.I went through all the usual troubleshooting methods. After that didnt work, I started contacting Dyson support. Each time I contact support after a month, I get the same response. Parts are out of stock, no eta.I spent more than $400 on a vacuum that doesnt work properly and I have no idea when this will be resolved.I would never buy another Dyson again.Review from kay o

I purchased a Dyson professional for my work & it only lasted a little over a month until it completely died on me. I spoke to 5 people before I was able to get a return shipping label from them. I was notified that it had been received on July 1st & then told it would be 14 business days until I would receive my dryer back. It is July 27th & I have not received my blow dryer nor any update for that matter. I had to purchase a shark blow dryer in the meantime of Dyson trying to handle my dryer. I am disappointed & frustrated that it's this complicated to get my dryer fixed. Purchasing a whole other dryer while I wait for my Dyson is unacceptable but necessary for this matter. I will not be purchasing any Dyson product again, which is a shame because I love my vacuum & purifier.Review from Michaela W

I read so many negative reviews and feel that I need to let people know about my positive experience with Dyson. I purchased the Gen5 detect in January 2024. I really like this vacuum. In July 2024 one of the wheels on the motorhead came off and a week later the other one broke off. This makes vacuuming the carpets difficult. I chatted with a support agent and they told me that the part was currently out of stock and they would let me know when it's available. The following week I chatted in again and was given the opting to exchange my Dyson for a new one. I agreed and sent the machine off via **** Dyson paid for shipping and packaging the machine. It took about 10 days from the time I shipped off my Dyson to the time I received a brand new vacuum. Now I call that great customer service. Thank you **********************!Review from JoanDyson

I purchased a Dyson Outsize machine in March, 2024, struggled with it a bit, and have been attempting to get warranty service since the end of May, 2024. It is now July 20, 2024, and my machine is nonfunctioning. Like: When working, this machine is an amazing cleaning tool. The laser finds everything so the end result is wonderful.Dislike: **************** is non-existent. Initially, the wand on my machine was extremely difficult to detach. (It has to be detached to empty the bin.) But after about two months, it simply stuck and I reached out to Dyson for assistance. I have spent hours on their chat line and phone line asking for help. Some reps have simply cut me off and I have never heard back from the reps who said a resolution was coming. Thus I have a $699 machine that is nonfunctioning. Absolutely the worst products and customer service. I have purchased 2 ********************** commercial supersonic hairdryers both have broke within a year. One I sent back for a replacement because it's only 2 months old and the new nural hairdryer they sent was broke. So I sent that back on 6/25/24, I have had to make 2 phones calls to check on the status of the replacement and now they are saying there was an error on their part and it never was shipped but that I will still have to wait another week to receive it. It will be a month waiting for a replacement and they do not care enough to even overnight it. I will never purchase a Dyson product again!!!!! If I could give them 0 stars I would.
