I have been receiving calls from this business despite requesting multiple times for my number to be removed from their database. I am not a homeowner, and I have never contacted them regarding their services. The constant calls borders on harassment, and needs to stop.

This company sends spam robocalls to my phone 2-3 times per day trying to drum up business. The phone number changes every time so they are spoofing numbers to get past blockers. I am on every Do Not Call list I can find. Any company using these illegal tactics cannot be legitimate. I have sent this information to the Indiana attorney general's office also, but no response... hoping maybe BBB complaints will shut them down.

A salesman from AmeriPro Roofing came to my home on 7/5/2024 and told me it looked like there was some wind damage on my roof. He took pictures but did not get on the roof. He called my insurance company, Auto-Owners and reported wind loss damage to my roof. Auto Owners set up an inspection of my roof. The day before the inspection was scheduled, a different person from AmeriPro roofing came out and told me he was going to climb on my roof and inspect it. Since then, my ****************** Auto-Owners has inspected it twice. My Insurance adjuster called me and told me there was no wind damage to my roof so the claim was denied, however he said there was damage to the roof caused by some type of instrument used to lift up shingles to make it look like wind damage. He sent me copies of the report that said they found 14 shingles that had been lifted to make it look like wind damage. I believe the damage was caused by the person from AmeriPro roofing. I want the damage repaired but I do not trust AmeriPro Roofing to repair it. I have called the ************************** and set up an appointment with an attorney for next Tuesday. The ************************* suggested I call them because it might be considered elder abuse due to my age.

      **************,

Thank you for supplying information on your inspection and feedback from your insurance company.  AmeriPro works very diligently to advocate for our homeowners for roof replacement projects with insurance companies across the country.  The windstorms through your area were documented via an independent system used to track storms and your insurance company has denied this.  It is our recommendation that you file a claim with the state insurance board as the insurance company will have to cover your claim.  An AmeriPro representative was out to your property on a few occasions.  Our representative, who is a dedicated, tenured, trustworthy individual never was on your roof until the individual from your insurance company was on the roof with him.  I would be happy to reach out to you directly to discuss the matter further as we have gone to great lengths to investigate this claim fully.

      Best Regards,

AmeriPro was doing a door to door sales and the kid convinced me to schedule an appointment with the sales person. The sales person showed up on a scheduled day went to the roof took some pictures, and said our insurance would most likely cover repairs and they would reach out to our insurance, and in order to do that he filled up the form and had me sign the form just to get the ball rolling and to talk to my insurance. Never discussed hiring, quotes/estimate amounts or contractual agreements. I was definitely mislead about what I was signing and was never told about the 3 day deadline. Again I was been told that I am signing this so that he could talk to our ****************** Once my insurance approved the claim and I talked to the sale person I got different answers on 3 different occasions. Then I started talking to other contractors and got quotes that were way lower and includes way more scope as well. When I told AmeriPro I will not be using them the sales person asked if I could have a conference call with him and his supervisor. I said sure, the supervisor got very heated (very unprofessional) and started yelling and trying to bully me into using them, I had to tell him to calm down. He also threatened me with several actions, He was screaming at the top of his lungs and accused me of stealing the insurance money that he said was theirs, and I am taking food from the Sales Person kids table. I calmly and respectfully hung up. Now I am getting letters that I owed them $ ******** cancellation fee. I do not feel I am responsible for this cancellation fee considering I never agreed to the work, nor any talk about picking out or ordering materials. I would like for this to be dismissed and stop getting the invoice in my mail.

I had them come out for an estimate on 8/13. Later that night my husband found all of the horrible reviews about this company and told me to cancel immediately. I have contacted the inspector coordinator department multiple times via email, the person ***** who came out for my estimate multiple times via text and called the headquarters number and left and message with ZERO response to send me a confirmation cancellation email. This contract states you have 3 days to cancel the estimate. I cancelled the same day, but this company is determined to wait until my 3 days are up so they can charge me a 10% fee of $2,520. Its a total scam. Nobody will return your calls or emails and all they want is to scam you out of 10% of your estimate which was ridiculously high to begin with considering he walked around the house for 4 minutes and came up with $25,200 worth of damages. I sent multiple emails and left multiple voicemails explaining the situation and that all I am requesting is a written confirmation that I will not be charged for not going with this company. They will not respond to me so maybe they will respond to this.

AmeriPro was at our neighbors and suggested they come to our house due to a wind and hailstorm. The sales person came over and went on our roof and said our insurance would most likely cover repairs and they would reach out to our insurance to see. He filled out the form and said he is just filling in the blanks to get the ball rolling and nothing is definite or set in stone and for us to sign it to get the process started. It was never discussed about any fee for simply checking with our insurance. We never discussed hiring, quotes/estimate amounts or contractual agreements. We were definitely mislead about what were were signing. (Again he stated this was just to get started with insurance only). When we signed the paper we had NO idea if the insurance was even going to cover anything. We asked SEVERAL times for a written estimate of the total cost and always got the run around, he was very evasive. We got a different answer almost every time we spoke. When we actually got other quotes from another contractor it was extremely lower and included much more. When we told them we will not be using them the sales person asked if we could have a conference call with him and his supervisor. I said sure, the supervisor got very heated and started yelling and trying to bully us into using them. He threatened us with several actions. He bereted us, screaming and accusing us of stealing the insurance money that he said was theirs. At that point, I said have a nice day and hung up. We could not believe the stonewalling and misleading of information and multiple texts asking for money. I do not feel we are responsible for this said cancellation fee considering we never agreed to the work, nor any talk about picking out or ordering materials. We would like for this to be dismissed and the texts to cease.

Dear ***/*****,I earnestly request for your assistance to resolve a matter with AmeriPro Roofing. I purchased a new roof from AmeriPro late last year (2023) - the contract was signed on 10/6/2023 and the new roof was installed on 12/27/2023. The total amount I paid AmeriPro was $12,048.51.The new roof AmeriPro installed for me is leaking. I did my diligence and everything AmeriPro asked of me. I have provided AmeriPro with many pictures and video clips of extended and new and visible water damages as a result of the leaking new roof (including pictures/clips of the most recent damage as a result from the leaking roof - recent storms around date 7/14/24). I have spoken with various members/teams at AmeriPro and have repeatedly express my concerns. I also have had AmeriPro come out to my property several times to do an inspection, but each time ends with disappointment. AmeriPro claimed that there is nothing wrong with the new roof they installed for me. I respectfully disagree with AmeriPro's claim and have pictures and clips as further confirmation that the new roof is leaking.AmeriPro will not do a thorough quality inspection of the leaking new roof, nor will they fix it. I am not able to arrange for the needed inspection or fix the leaking area(s) on my own because that will invalidate the warranty. My house continues to be further damaged with each new rainfall. (I am further worried with Winter season just a few months away.)I am in urgent need to have the new roof fixed so the leaking would stop and prevent further damages to my house. Please help me! (I can provide all the pictures, clips, and any other information necessary.)Thank you,Nhu

      Complaint: ********

I am writing to respond to AmeriPro's 08/02/24 message to Complaint #******** and to address AmeriPros 8/6/24 offer to do a water test on the spot/area of the reported latest/new leak.

I am conditionally rejecting AmeriPros initial offer for the following reasons:

      (1) I am requesting for a full water test not the spot water test (the spot/area of the reported latest/new leak) that AmeriPro is offering.

       (2) AmeriPros have been on site several times in the past (before this complaint was filed on 7/30/24). However, those inspections did not cure the persisting issues just bandaged!

      (3) AmeriPros previous inspections efforts, the steps performed seem somewhat inefficient, and have failed to pinpoint the origins of the persistent/elusive/hidden source of the leak.  It is time for AmeriPro to step up and do their due diligence.  I do not have the luxury or time to keep playing this evasive/delaying game.  My home the quality and structural integrity of my home is continuing to be further damaged after each rainfall (and the winter snowfall is just a few months away).

      (4) A full water test is valuable for precisely identifying the source of a roof leak when dealing with elusive leaks that resist detection through visual inspections and spot water tests.  The primary purpose of a full water test is to systematically test all sections of the roof, so to pinpoint the exact/all locations of the leak DUE to the challenge of water often traveling along other structural elements before entering the identified visual/living space.  It acts as a confirmatory step to validate suspicions and provide more targeted information for guiding prompt cure/repair efforts, so to prevent any further/future leaks and damages.

       (5) I am not an expert in construction, but why am I the one who has been initiating/asserting the requests for a water test, a walking test on the roof, etc.  AmeriPro are the experts in construction and should have had these on their quality inspection checklist at the first reported leak, if not before (which would have been after the completion of the new roof installation).

       (6) Once more, I am saying the new roof installed by AmeriPro is leaking. The clear indicator of a leak is the presence of water-damaged brown spots on my ceiling. (I have sent AmeriPro pictures and clips of such.) These water-damaged areas on the ceiling are telltale signs that moisture has penetrated the primary barrier of AmeriPros roof/shingles and started to deteriorate the shield/plywood/decking beneath.  These symptoms confirm that water has managed to breach the new roofs defenses and causing harm to the structural components of the new roof and my home.

       (7) I have reasonable doubt whether AmeriPro are providing fair reporting.  AmeriPro conduct their own inspections, make their own judgments and diagnosis, and AmeriPro approved their own finalized reports.  I feel like AmeriPro are their own policing.  Where are the no neutral, third-party accountability and assessment?

I am incredibly frustrated and distressed about the leaking new roof and the apparent exacerbated damages to my home.  I paid for a full new roof - new shingles, new shield, new plywood.  A new roof is supposed to end and prevent leaks, so why is the new roof installed by AmeriPro leaking and causing more damages.  A new roof is supposed to bring relief and comfort; I am feeling neither of those emotions.

I have been patient and tolerant; however, respectfully, those cannot be mistaken for gullibility or a lack of common sense.

Given that I continue to want to seek amicable resolution of all open issues and still think this is the best path forward, I am asking that AmeriPro step up to their professionalism and credibility and promptly undertake to act rightly and be responsible/liable to cure the leaking new roof and to repair/replace all damages caused by the leaking new roof (physical structures, mold & mildew, etc).

       Sincerely,
      *****************

      Complaint: ********

I am writing to respond to AmeriPro's 08/14/24 message to Complaint #******** and to address AmeriPros comment AmeriPro is scheduling an onsite visit for 8/30/24 or 9/2/24 with the homeowner to inspect the roof and conduct a water test.

I am hesitant to accept AmeriPros offer to be onsite on 8/30/24 to inspect the roof and conduct a water test for the following reasons:

--- Yes, AmeriPro have agreed to meet my concern item #1 which is to conduct a full roof inspection and water test (see below or previous response for detailed concern item #1)

BUT, what about the provision for the other concern items as listed/commented in my previous response?  For example:

--- Will there be present an independent/third-party professional inspector or organization to shadow AmeriPro while they inspect the roof and conduct the water test on 8/30/24?  (see previous response for detailed concern item #7)

--- What is AmeriPros plan of action for cure/repair of the leaking new roof and related damages following the inspection and water test? (see previous response for detailed concern items #2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and additional notes)

(additional notes):  Given that I continue to want to seek amicable resolution of all open issues and still think this is the best path forward, I am asking that AmeriPro step up to their professionalism and credibility and promptly undertake to act rightly and be responsible/liable to cure the leaking new roof and to repair/replace all damages caused by the leaking new roof (physical structures, mold & mildew, etc).

I paid for a full new roof new shingles, new ice shield, new sheets of plywood.  After AmeriPro installed the new roof, I am not expecting the new roof to leak anytime soon.  I mean, I invested my hard-earned money into it.  Unfortunately, this isnt the case.

(This is not only frustrating and distressing, but now I am also wary of other roofing companies.  The last thing I want is to make another bad hire.)

Until these issues are fully and finally resolved, I am formally and plainly asking AmeriPro to meet their obligations under the contract/warranty for avoidance of any doubt which may raise disputes of breach of contract.  If AmeriPro intend to meet their obligations, a good first step would be for AmeriPro to make provisions for the concerns as listed above.

Given, it continues to be my view that an amicable resolution of all open issues is the best path to move forward.

      Sincerely,
      Nhu

Good afternoon, .. I received a notification that **** is looking to schedule the water test. 8/30 or 9/2 are the dates being proposed. I am still hesitant to accept AmeriPros offer to be onsite on 8/30/24 for the following reasons:

      (1) (AmeriPro 8/20/24) ..looking to schedule the water test. 8/30 or 9/2 are the dates being proposed. Please advise if for some reason those dates dont work for you..
           (a) Yes,AmeriPro have agreed to meet my concern item #1 - which is to conduct a full roof inspection and water (see 8/8/24 response for detailed concern item #1)
           (b) However,to manage expectations and any ambiguous situations or uncleared goals, or false/misrepresentations, please provide a specific  bullet outline or plan of the roof and water testing methods AmeriPro plan to conduct. (I would rather not experience the similar false/misrepresentations and disappointments to that of past inspections conducted by AmeriPro.)
                 (i) These methods should be, but not limited to, comparable to or of greater factors (pressure) like that of the rain/snow/wind/etc weather that experienced in the area/locally.
(ii) These methods should be, but not limited, help to identify/determine WHERE the areas with leaks or water infiltration hidden, obvious, persistent leaks:
** NOT to determine IF there are leaks in the new roof installed by AmerPro.
** There is in fact water leaks (and continuously) as communicated to AmeriPro prior to BBB complaint filed, these signs of water leak (but not limited to): water stains on the ceilings, dripping in the attic, wet materials, etc.

      (2) (AmeriPro 8/20/24) .. Once complete and the findings are reviewed, we can discuss the next steps. It will all depend on what the findings are.
           (a) I understand and can further address with ***************** Supervisor directly by telephone in pre- and post- roof and water testing.
           (b) I paid for full new roof. This is new roof has warranty -- a written promise from AmeriPro to repair or replace a product that develops a fault within a certain period of time.

      (3) (Me 8/19/24) --- Will there be present an independent/third-party professional inspector or organization to shadow AmeriPro while they inspect the roof and conduct the water test on 8/30/24?  (see previous response for detailed concern item #7) .. (a mutually agreed upon independent/third-party professional inspector or organization or one hired by me)
           (a) As per expressed/detailed in my prior responses, AmeriPro has otherwise not made any provision for this concern.

Similarly, as expressed by AmeriPros ***************** Supervisor, I also want to get this completed to have the leaking new roof be repaired/replaced and all damages in connection caused by the leaking new roof (physical structures, mold & mildew, etc).

I want to have all issues resolved by September 30, 2024. This has been going on for several months. If agreement to completion has not been negotiated or failed in negotiations by September 30, 2024 as detailed in my past responses, among other things (e.g. sale contract, warranty, AmeriPros scope of work, etc.), I will pursue all rights and remedies under the warranty including cost(s) incurred by/in completing the required work.

Again, I repeat my assertion and position that the issues need to be resolved as soon as possible to prevent additional damages. If prolonged, can lead to additional structural damages, more expensive fixes, and potential health issues.

To give both sides an opportunity to be successful, it continues to be my view that an amicable resolution of all open issues is the best path to move forward.

      Sincerely,
      Nhu

      Complaint: ********

I am writing to respond to AmeriPro's 08/26/24 message to Complaint #******** and to address AmeriPros 8/27/24 and 8/30/24 comments via emails from ***************** Supervisor.

Once again, I am hesitant to accept AmeriPros offer for the following reasons:

      (1) With respect to an independent third-party inspector/contractor --- pending further discussion and a decision.

      (2) With respect to scheduling a date for AmeriPro and independent third-party to come out to my home for full roof/water test --- I can offer 9/6 or 9/7 as the earliest available options contingent of #1.

      (3) There was no remark/clarification to my comment from 8/25/24 #1b with respect to roof and water testing methods.

      (4) There was no remark/provision with respect to the repair of the leaking new roof and all damages in connection caused by the leaking new roof (physical structures, mold & mildew, etc).  All costs incurring should be under the obligations of the contract/warranty.

As detailed in my 8/25/24 comment, I want to have all issues resolved and repairs completed by 9/30/24 before the weather turns on us.

As reflective of a good faith effort and my intentions and willingness to resolve with AmeriPro regarding all issues with the leaking new roof and relating to the leaking new roof, I can be available by telephone for discussion to resolve such issues so that work may commence.

      Sincerely,

      *****************

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business, AmeriPro, in reference to complaint ID ********, and will accept with reservations AmeriPros effort to resolve all issues as detailed in prior communications.

Although I still have some reservations about the third party contractor being associated with AmeriPro, I will give AmeriPro an opportunity to do the right thing here. As for the dates for coordinating the on site, right now I am available on 9/16 or 9/23. Please let me know if one of those dates will work.

Having said all that, I understand I do have the privilege to reopen the matter should the resolution effort be unsatisfactory.

      Kind regards,

      Nhu

We are dissatisfied with their lack of professionalism, particularly their failure to provide a written estimate. Comparing their estimates with those of other contractors, theirs seem insufficient and raise concerns about their legitimacy. It appears they rely solely on securing contracts rather than expertise. Regarding roofing, they appear inexperienced, as safety issues identified by other contractors, my insurer, and myself remain unaddressed. They only disclose prices after learning our budget, which feels deceptive. Imagine if I refused to sell you something until I knew your financial situationit's unethical.

My husband reached out to Ameripro regarding some damage to our roof after a *****. He found their information via a social media ad. Time was set up for them to come out and look at the roof. An estimate was presented to us, that was very high. We reached out to two other roofing companies for estimates. The other estimates were lower so we decided to go with another company. We are now being told because they came out and gave us an estimate that if we do not use them we will be charged a cancellation fee? The individual I spoke to **** told me I don't work for free and my estimate doesn't matter, I could submit it for $100,000? This seemed quite strange to me, and unethical. The individual continued to argue with me and accused me of trying to be fraudulent, to which I responded that seemed to me like what he was doing but not submitting a fair estimate to the insurance company. I do not understand how having someone come out and give you a quote is a binding contract? I in no way feel comfortable with this Company.

      ****************,

Thank you for submitting your feedback.  The cancel fee will not be assessed.  After contract signature we do work with insurance companies to advocate for our homeowner's and spend time and effort to obtain approvals.  Again, we appreciate you considering AmeriPro for you home restoration needs and wish you well in the future.
