This is the worst loan company to deal with. We were in foreclosure due to illness and trying to sell the house quick, and when the title company sent my sign release form to get info about our loan, they accused her of forging my signature. I got on a 3-way with them and they took 20 minutes to verify my identity, but still refused to release my information as if they wanted us to get the house auctioned off instead of selling it. The operator then hung up on me rudely. When I called the next day, they told me to submit my request in writing and theyd respond in 30 business days. We were trying to close that week. They have absolutely refused to provide me with information about my own loan. Additionally I had a forgivable down payment assistance silent loan they manage, and theyve refused to give me the payoff amount of it, which was vital information to me selling the house. Their contract was so vague it did not give relevant detail about this assistance loan, such as what would be due if sold early. I have never heard a loan company of accusing a national title company of forging docs or of refusing to give loan info. Because of their underhand tactics we will likely not be able to avoid foreclosure through selling. I suspect they want the foreclosure to go through because the house is valued $180k more than the loan. Dont trust these people. It tells you something when they have a F BBB rating.
