I sold Camping world of ******************* my camper. They agreed and purchased my 2022 Shasta 18BH for $16,000.00. The manager who purchased the camper informed me it would take 4-7 business days for me to receive the check for payment of the purchase. This sale was on July 2nd. It is now July 24th (3 weeks later). I have contacted their corporate number and this location multiple times leaving messages and filing complaints. I am unable to get in contact with anyone who has the authority or knowledge to resolve my issue. I keep getting told they are not in at the moment. I have been contacting them for several days multiple times and can not get a response as to where my money is.Business response

The vehicle (Rv) was purchased last year in July. Since then the Rv was vandalized near my property. The vehicle (Rv) was brought back to camping world in ********* CA for the insurance claim and some small issues with the Rv breakers were failing and ac unit was broken according to Tech. The Rv was taken back to them in December of 2023. As of today 7/20/24 my Rv has yet to be completed. Also my vehicle a ****** pathfinder has been in and out of the shop with them due to issues they are blaming on ******. I have asked for documentation to send to ****** with the vehicle yet no documents have been provided.Business response

I purchased a 2021 ******************** No boundaries 19.1 from Camping World ********* in January of 2024. I used my credit union to secure funding, as part of the loan agreement I had to have the title to the bank with in 90 days. At around the 90 day **** I still had not received the title and neither had the bank. I then contracted Camping world via phone and advised them of the situation. I waited about 2 weeks still nothing. So I contacted them again, waited and still nothing. I have now physically went to the store 3 time and called multiple times. It has been 7 months now and my bank still does not have the title, and this is keeping me from securing financing. At this time I either want my title or I want Camping world ********* to take back the trialer.Business response

On may 5/13/2024, my husband ****************** and I purchased a motorhome from there. We had a slim time frame to check this camper out. When inspecting it, I opened the fridge, all seemed to be working, and what sounded like the fire alarm needed batteries, was beeping. The employee there informed us that the battery needed to be changed, and that was a simple fix. And the speakers were cutting out in front. He informed us that just started happening. These were small things that could be fixed on our own.That was the least of the problems we had.on the way home in the motorhome, the refrigerator door flew off when we hit a bump, and upon further inspection camper world had glued the hinge and refrigerator door. When we got home, there were other issues like a valve on the propain tank was faulty.a tv in the back didnt work( tv not really a big deal) I contacted them and received a call back from ****************, on may 28th @12:31 pm that everything would be either fixed or covered by warranty, I could just take it to the nearest camping world. I did I took it in, June 13th, to my nearest camping world. They said the valve was bad, the o2 censor was beeping and was bad, and that the fridge would need to be replaced and that wouldnt be covered. They sent me home and told me that the they were waiting for Asheville to get back to them to cover the costs, and that certain aspects of my camper I couldnt use. They didnt fix it, I called on July ***************************************** that the Asheville store had not gotten back to them. It broke even more. And now what we think after much reading is that the inverter is bad as well. I bought this in may, and I havent been able to camp in it. My wife and I purchased a used 2022 HEARTLAND BIG HORN 5th wheel on June 18th, 2024, from Camping World in *********. The camper was delivered on June 19th but their delivery truck was too low to put it on our land so we contacted CW and I found a person near to put it on our land for $375 which we were told we will be reimbursed. Haven't seen anything reimbursement yet. The finance ***** will not return my calls. Finance also owes $500 because the loan differential was $500 to correct the financing. They were told before the ** left the lot to fix the front door because it wouldn't close. #1 Once the ** was setup, we opened the door and it wouldn't close anymore so we had to rig the door up for it to close. General manager told me to bring it in but I told him I just set it up and I can't move it. He said that they do not come out to work on campers (He is lying). I was already told they could come out. #2 I went to put the awning out and one side does not come out (they will not fix). #3 I was going to run water through my black tack (poop tank) but when I opened it apparently they didn't empty the tank because p*** started going everywhere. #4 My kitchen slide out still has 3 1/2" to go but it will not go any further. The general manager denied all of the problems and told me I could fix it at my cost. All I would like is for them to fix my problems and refund the money owed.Business response

I purchased at brand new 2023 ******* Lite RB unit from camping World in *****************, **. From the day I hooked my camper up the refrigerator would not cool! I have had to bring the unit back to the dealership a total of 5 times 1st visit they couldnt diagnose issue 2nd visit they had the unit over a week couldnt diagnose 3rd visit they diagnosed refrigerator needs replaced filed warranty claim 4th visit dealer said they had the part and wanted to install it after 2:45 minutes they called and said they had the wrong unit its too small 5th visit they have replaced the unit. I buy a brand new camper to live in for work and now I have had to take days off work to bring it up and I have spent over $350 in gas charges (I live 1:45 minutes away so 3:30 hours each time on the road) I feel due to their inadequate service I should be reimbursed for my fuel and wear and tear on my vehicle! I didnt choose to buy a new camper with issues to live in. But the service manger says he didnt choose to make the unit bad. The service manager says I twisted his words and obviously he twisted mine. I requested the new RV check sheet to confirm what checks were done at time of purchase and have not received it. They need to be held responsible for not providing the service they should have done!Business response

I purchased a camper through Camping World of ************************************* rep stated the camper had been detailed, roof leak fixed and new awning on. And they agreed to give me $4500 for trade in on my camper 06 Jayco. While we had a quick tour of the new camper 2017 Forest River Cherokee Patriot Edition, they showed us where the basic ***************** system was n a short description of how it worked. While signing papers they tried to tell us our camper appliances didnt work (they were running off ******** ran out, they didnt try to run it on electric) they then stated they would give us less $ for it and I knew they worked n they finally got it all to work as they should. Also during the transaction we got to keep our new tires n big propane tanks (their tires were under half ************* were for grills/small tanks) everything seemed to have gone well to get us out the door n down the road. Upon getting home and getting it ready to go camping in 2 days, I was going to pack the kitchen n found a huge mouse nest with ********** all over. I still cant get the smell out. Then it rained a small amount and the roof skylight said to be fixed leaked as if it hadnt, and we opened the awning at home and found there was a hole in it, again said to be new when we picked it up. Now they said they would refund the money I had paid for the new awning $400(included in purchase price). A week later I have no refund n stated they cant since deal is done! I did call and complain to corporate and they said they would give me a $200 gift certificate to Camping World for bad detail and I was ok with that but now they want to give me another gift card for awning which I paid for! I refused gift card and the ** got aggravated with me on the phone said he would call back and never did! All I want is my money back for the awning-$400 ********* gift card-$200.Business response

This location sold my family and I a unit with an inoperable converter. We have attempted to get the situation resolved only to be delayed continuously and having to resort to using other methods to use the camper that we paid 65k dollars for. As of now we are being told that the unit is being ordered but will cause a further inconvenience in the way of having a unit which will not maintain a charge and renders its existence useless without charging the battery through a 3rd party source.
