I bought a Keystone Hideout in March 2021. I purchased a paint protection plan for the trailer. The paint protection plan was never honored by the business. Numerous phone calls have been made in an attempt to have it honored or refunded. I have spoken with 3 different reps for the business that promised a refund to the original loan to no avail. The business refuses to let me speak to a manager and no one calls back. I have contacted the business on ******** and have been told that "someone will call" but it's been over 2 weeks since then and I have heard from no one. The trailer was sold to us as "new", but after a more thorough inspection have found that the trailer was actually "used". The sales rep ****** refused to answer our calls after the completion of the sale, but did call my phone in November ************************************************* buying a trailer, never realizing that he already sold one to me and that we had called him numerous times and he didn't answer. I want the $700 for the paint protection plan to be refunded to my loan immediately.

My Heat Pump in my 2008 Fleetwood Bounder 38V Motorhome was replaced with the wrong unit. The Motorhome is still at Gander Outdoors RV. I have not accepted the repairs. See attached email chain from when I first dropped off the Motorhome for repairs in August.

On April 23 I bought a new camper from Gander RV, for about $21000. There were some Warrenty claims they discloses that they promised would get repaired. When they did not take action I asked for the Warrenty paper work so I had it for my records. Upon receipt of this paper work I realized that there was WAY more that needed fixing that they did not disclose. I notified them right away and was told someone will be in contact. In June I went camping for the first time with it and found out that the camper I took delivery of was not the same camper they showed me, the mattress was not the same and the chalk board fridge had a tag (one removed it can not be replaced) the one I "bought" did not have the tag and the one I picked up did. Plus there was damage to one of the cushions in the dinette. I am pretty sure this is very illegal. I contacted them again, they agreed the mattress was a cheaper mattress and they assured me they would get me the one they showed me first. Weeks went by and I called and again. They finally made an appointment to do repairs on October 1st. I asked the person if they had all the replacement parts she said no but they were booking out and they wanted to schedule me. (Most likely to shut me up) On September 30 they called to cancel the appointment since they only had the parts to fix the outdoor kitchen. I recently called again last week 12/8/2021 and was told they have all the parts (I doubt that) they could schedule me in on the 23rd and that someone would get back to me to confirm. No one has contacted me. I would like to add that upon my first complain to the company they offered me $300 gift certificate and when I told them I just want my camper fixed they $400. I try to explain to their customer service department that these Warrenty claims need to be repaired and he told me I bought the camper AS IS! I said this is a brand new 2021 camper as is means in perfect condition!! I'm so frustrated and need help.

Purchased a 2021 ******* Lite **** RB Travel Trailer on July 20,2021. Trailer sit in the driveway till Sept 24th, we went on an eight day trip to *********** ***** to see our grandson graduate AF Basic Training. In the 8 days we were gone with the trailer 23 different issues appeared in the trailer. Came back to *********, called and made appointment to take the trailer to Camping World RV Sales (where we purchased it) and told them one by one the 23 issues. They had the camper for 2 months, we picked it up today (Dec. 6,2021). When we went into service **** they informed us that we owed $426.18. I refused to pay for anything except the winterization that I did authorize. The Service Manager was very rude, pretty much called my wife and I liars. Finally they dropped all charges, except winterization. Before we connected the trailer to the truck, we opened the trailer to look at what the service **** said they repaired. here are sill issues that were not addressed. I, ************************* had a salesman that was outside come look at the nails coming through the wall, he walked away and said he would get someone, didn't happen. So I went back in to the service **** and was attempting to tell the service manager that the trailer still wasn't repaired properly. She told me to leave, that our business was finished. The trailer has a 3 yr warranty. I have contacted Dutchmen, who is the manufacturer, and was told that I have to deal with Camping World over the issues. I am not satisfied with the workmanship or the attitude of this place.

I bought a camper on Labor Day weekend. I was told to look it over for a couple days and write down anything that will need too be fixed or replaced On September 1st I called their service department. A tech was sent out and I showed him all the things. Over 30 items! He looked at all the issues and said the camper would have to be brought back to the dealership. I called *** from Service and I was upset because of the extreme repairs that will need to be done! I then called *****, told him I was extremely angry and disappointed with a brand new camper having this many issues. I said I wanted a new one and I was told I could not do that. I have spent months calling the manufacturer calling the service ***** even calling home office Still waiting !!I was told that *** or ***** from the service department would check on it and get back to me however I received no phone calls last week I called again for a status and was called back by KC who told me there were issues with the warranty and that he would get back to me for an update of course that has not happened yes I believe I was treated unfair and want a full refund or a replacement I bought in good faith and got screwed!

I am rejecting this response because:  I have yet to receive a call as promised by ******, from anyone at Camping Wirld, as usual. They never contact me with updates or any information. I called a few weeks ago and ***** told me that I had to go through him from now on. I asked him to make sure the camper was winterized. He said he would. My fear is that already having had a freeze that they did not winterize it in time and I will be stuck with more repairs!

I dont think its unreasonable to expect a phone call, email or anything to find out what is happening!  After all this is a new camper with over 30 items that need repairs or replacement. ******* stated they would send me a check for ****** and hopefully she will follow through with this. She said they were going to winterize it at noon cost, they had already told me they would 2 months ago.

Bought a used 2015 V Lite camper on July 27th 2021 from Camping World *********. Selling price $24,385 + **** for extended warranty total of $27,118.77. Was to be moved on my daughter's property because I'm 82 and have cancer. At the end of the sale asked ******************* the salesman for a copy of the contract he said it was in the packet he gave me. Camper was delivered the next day with no keys and no copy of the contract. Went back to the dealer to get keys ******************* said payment info and contract was in the mail and we had 45 days before first payment was due. On 9/14/21 I got late notice from the loan bank. Contacted them and finally got the loan information which said I owed $30,253.20 when on July 27th I owed $20,118.77 so then I had to contact Camping World again spoke with ***** about canceling all the add-ons. the $3,000 we agreed to and the $9,835.75. Filled out the cancellation form because it was within 30 days. ***** gave me a blank form that we had signed I asked why he didn't fill it out he said he would do it later (like the contract) ***** stated it would take four to six weeks for the refund. 90 days later I called the insurance company ***** never canceled. The company is honoring the dated 8/21/21 form even w the blanks. I cannot trust Camping World to receive this refund and forward it to the loan company seeing they have lied to me multiple times so that I can pay it off hopefully it's close to the original $20,118.77. So my resolution would be the $9,835.75 plus the original $3,000 and possibly the 10% penalty for not doing a refund in a timely manner which is stated on the enclosed cancellation request. Thank you very much sincerely *******************

We bought a brand new 2021 Heartland Mallard 312 camper from Camping World in Georgetown, ** the end of May , 2021. It had arrived from the factory with several issues that needed to be repaired, replaced or corrected to bring it completely showroom "new" roll off the lot status. The dealer assured us that all things would be covered under warranty, that they would fix the items they could before we returned to pick it up and that our local store *********, ** could handle the remainder work under warranty no problem. When we picked up the camper several days later in June nothing had been done but we needed it for a planned trip. After the trip we delivered it to the ********* store and for the most part it has remained on their lot all this time (it is now late November 2021) and they still have failed to complete the items to bring it to new condition. Since it has been on their lot it has suffered damage and now we are going into the winter months and the camper has not been properly winterized. All this time we are making payments on a camper we can't use. Each time we call or show up to check the status of the progress of our camper, no one knows. No one is following up on it and each time we have to go back thru the history even though we are talking to same contact! The last time we were there, the customer service rep said " nice to finally put a face with a name" he had forgotten he had met me before. That is the problem. Each time we go in they are nice, say they are going to resolve everything, then when we leave they don't give it another thought. Two weeks go by we check in they are nice but nothing has been done. They don't know the status, they say things like remind me again, what were we doing? No follow up. We have contacted corporate and can't get past their apology committee. Her name is *************************. She will never answer the phone only call you back and leave you a voicemail. No resolution, only to apologize and say ********* will fix it.

Camping World did make an offer of $24,800 to buy back camper, this amount is just over half of what we paid for it 7 months ago, most of which time it has sat on their lot waiting for repairs.

      The amount was insulting.

I do not feel this company has made sufficient effort to rectify the situation.

In October we called Camping World because we needed a few repairs to our camping trailer, we had a warranty that they assured us would cover everything. After driving the over 1 1/2 hours to take our trailer there, they told us in person that NOTHING would be covered by the warranty. Frustrated, we asked them to get us a bid and we would decide if we could afford the repairs. We repeatedly asked them to get our approval BEFORE any work was started, once in person and three times over the phone. Well they did NOT get our approval before starting the work and then called and told us we they had finished it and our **** was over $500.00. They dropped the **** down to a lesser amount but wouldn't work anymore with us. My husband talked to them multiple times telling them we didn't want them to do anything without our permission. That we just wanted a bid. They didn't care. Not only did they lie about what our warranty would cover to get us to come there, they did unauthorized work on our trailer and then made us pay for it to get our trailer back. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
