Insure On The Spot, **********************, United Equitable Insurance Company, American Heartland Insurance Company nor any other affiliates acting in/on your behalf as an insurance carrier did not disclose or reveal to my son Chidiebere that he was ineligible for full coverage auto insurance or that he would be subject to an Additional Premium Policy Violation at the time of the initial application up until now. I would greatly appreciate it if you would provide the documentation that you said my son, Chidiebere, signed to support your claim of this astronomical Additional Premium Deduction of $3957.00 regarding this claim as I would like to review it. I am also requesting a copy of the appraisal of the vehicle that was performed by your company. That document was not in any of the attachments you emailed to my son regarding how the appraiser/adjuster arrived at the value and cash payout for the vehicle. It appears that your insurance company does not want to pay the value of the vehicle. Therefore, until I receive the supporting documents from your company I do not agree or accept the Cash Out Settlement of $13024.00.Initial Complaint

To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against American Heartland Insurance for what I believe to be unethical and potentially fraudulent business practices. My experience with this company has been deeply concerning, and I am seeking immediate resolution and action.1.Unresponsiveness: The company consistently fails to answer phone calls or provide assistance. I am writing to express my concerns regarding my recent car accident on September 11, ******* car was involved an accident with a person who had this insurance. I have been diligently completing the claim documents, but I was informed today that the insurance company is still waiting for the other drivers statement. They mentioned this process could take up to 90 days.Additionally, I spoke with the other driver today, and they have not yet been contacted for their statement. As a result, I am currently unable to drive my car, which is in storage due to an issue with the trunk door. On 2/16/24 my son was stuck by a vehicle covered by American Heartland I insurance Company. He was issued a claim number, while at the scene **********. I was told I had to wait 90 days because the insured driver was no responding about this accident. I waited and did get a response from **** saying They are responding to my email They sent a non-cooperation denial due to no cooperation from their insured. So they this still hasnt got my car fixed. How is it my issue spending time and work hours to get this resolved. I just want my car fixed. And with this going on for so long I feel they should add some kind of damages for my time. I dont know what other option to do. Do I file something with the Illinois commerce also? I filed a claim with my insurance. My vehicle was stolen and involved in a hit and run. The vehicle was deemed a total loss. My claim got denied and they have procession of my vehicle and it is my responsibility to remove the vehicle from the salvage yard and if I dont do so I am responsible for the fees. On Friday August 2, 2024 I was involved in an accident. After the accident the first step after calling the Police was to call my insurance American Heartland. I gave a call to the number on my insurance card more than 6 times before someone finally answered. Everytime I called it would ring 4-5 times and just hang up. So when I finally got an agent on the line I explained what happened and because of the damage to my car it needed to be towed. She told me they didnt have the man power at the moment so they couldnt come tow my car for ************************************************* my time of having vehicles Ive had an accident before and my insurance always sent a tow truck right away but with this insurance it was different. They didnt explain to me the claim process or anything the lady seemed as if she had an attitude and was giving me a hard time although Im a paying customer. I was so frustrated because now I had to figure out how I was going to get my car towed home because my insurance was not going to do it. The Police officer on the scene was so nice and stayed with me for over 2 hours waiting until my family showed up but he had to leave to go to another call. My family had to end up getting my car towed to another location where my car would be safe. Here it is Monday August 5, 2024 and I still havent heard anything from my insurance at all. This is so unacceptable and I wish I did research before getting this insurance and now I understand why they have F rating on BBB this place needs to be out of business because theyre first priority is not their customers at all. Anytime you call the claims number nobody answers the phone and there is no voicemail to leave a message. I havent received any info at all regarding my claim not even a email.Initial Complaint

Im submitting a complaint against American Heartland insurance. I had a car accident on June 23rd, 2024 and made a claim with them on June 24th,2024. Its been 3 weeks since my accident and I still dont have any updates from my insurance. I am told by the insurance to call every other day for an update and I still dont get any answers on what is going on with my car. This is very frustrating because I need to figure out my car situation. I am paying out of pocket for rental cars and I cannot afford that. This insurance is horrible and I will not be using them in the future.
