      Auto Claim was filed, Allstate has verbally accepted liability for the accident by there driver, but refuse to even send out an adjuster to look at my car that was hauled away from the accident by the police and is underivable ,All state has told me that I now needed to pay the impound fees and pay to have the car moved to a repair shop of my choosing but the car is more than likely totaled. Customer ********************** refused to help and hangs up when I get upset, and I have moved out of state and have no access to my car now and get no help from them at all.

      I am in the military and have been deployed for the past few months. Prior to deploying I contacted Allstate to have my insurance policy put on hold as I will not be needing coverage during my deployed months. Upon contacting Allstate, I was assured that my policy was successfully placed on hold with no worries. I logged onto my app a couple weeks after reaching my deployment location to double check that everything was correct, and it was not. I said that I had a balance of $236.35 to pay by November 1st, so I paid that. After submitting the payment I wait a couple days and I go back in to the app to follow up and make sure everything was correct then I see that I had a payment of $3.17 due so I pay that as well just to make sure that there were no outstanding payments on my account. When I go back into the app once again to double check, I see that my policy was canceled on October 25. I had no idea of this nor was I alerted, when I contacted customer **********************, The agent informed me that a letter was sent out to my mailing address that I literally have no access to since I am overseas, deploy, as stated before. I was told that there was a past due balance of over $400 that I had no idea about, it was not made known to me via the app or any other form of communication and due to the negligence on all states and, I am currently fully without auto insurance. The agent then informed me that I would have to pay $700 to have my policy reinstated which I am not able to do. I called back and got a different agent on another date and asked if underwriters could be contacted which I know can be done . He said no and he also informed me, after cutting me off midsentence, that I would not be able to get insurance with Allstate at all. None of this is my fault yet I am being penalized for serving my country and being deployed because thats really whats going on here, Why do I have to go without because your team and app can not properly function?

      On 10/30/2021 my 2014 Infiniti Q50 vehicle was backed into in a parking lot un ******** **********. The driver at fault and I exchanged Information and I got witness names and phone numbers. I called allstate to report the accident also giving them the other motorists info as well as the witnesses(2persons) info. I was supplied with the names and locations of several authorized allstate repair facilities. I took my vehicle to Service Kings in ************. After the initial damage and repair assessment, I was told to bring my vehicle back the next week. The repairs were made a week later. Car looked terrible. They took it back in the shop for 1 1/2 hrs while I waited. Still not fixed properly. Fenders and 1/4 panels not lined up. Called allstate. Told to take elsewhere. Took to another Service Kings facility. They kept vehicle 2 days. I picked it up and it look the same. Called allstate (***************************) told me to take vehicle wherever I wanted. I took it to Winfield auto body in ************. Told by ******** that they were waiting for Service Kings technician to go to Winfield auto and talk with their technician. That was over a week ago and my car is just sitting in the body shop marked(highlights of necessary repair areas). ******** claims he and new repair technician have not been able to connect. I went by new shop and called ******** and he spoke with *****(new repair tech). Have called ******** every day since then. No return calls. ***** called me and asked when he would receive authorization to make repairs. Nothing from ********. Called allstate 1/4/2022. Spoke with ********. She gave me ********' managers name. Left message with *********************** and another with ********. Waiting and hoping to hear from them. This has gone on since 10/30/2021

      On Nov 8th 2021, the policy holder named ******************************* of All State Insurance Company rear ended my vehicle ******HRV 2016 at a red light. The claim number is **********, liability was accepted by AllState and I was told to take my car to a bodyshop that works directly with them for a faster repair time. Caliber Collision was chosen and my car was dropped off on 20 Dec 2021 for repairs. AllState issued me an advance payment to cover my rental cost. It is now Jan 3, 2022 and I have yet to hear back on when my car will be repaired or to receive an estimate for the damages. I have to keep calling AllState every two days to ask more money to cover my rental expenses and it is emotionally draining. They are now making it difficult for me to receive money for my rental so I can commute to work. This accident was completely their policy holder fault and it is like I am being punished for their customer poor driving skills. I was told multiple times my claim has been elevated and someone will contact me, no one reached out to me to resolve this issue in a timely manner. I have to constantly call or reach out for updates. The customer ********************** was a nightmare. The representatives have limited authority therefore all they can provide is a simple someone will follow up or call you back today but they do not follow through or reach out in any manner about the issue.

      On 12/31/2021, an Allstate client's pickup truck caught fire in our employer's parking lot. My Jeep was parked next to his, and was damaged as a result, leaving it undrivable. The Allstate client has comprehensive coverage, so his Allstate policy covered his vehicle. However, the fire was deemed to be due to a short in the electrical system, so Allstate decided that the client was not at fault for the damage to my vehicle, and thus denied me coverage for the damage his vehicle caused to mine.

      I am rejecting this response because:

       

      Allstate Insurance contacted me regarding the BBB complaint. Rather than try to address my complaint -- the company's refusal to cover the damages to my car due to a fire in the policy holder's car -- the individual contacting me asked if she could help me better understand the insurance company's policy.

      I stated that I completely understood that their practice is not to cover damage to non-policy holders, except in cases where the policy holder was actively involved in the damage in some way, but that I DISAGREE with that practice.

      Whether the policy holder actively caused the damage to my car or not is, in my opinion, irrelevant. Rather, my opinion is that the policy holder's ownership of his vehicle implies responsibility for what damages that vehicle causes. By virtue of his responsibility, it is my further opinion that the insurance company, in agreeing to cover his vehicle, agrees to bears responsibility for the damages the insured vehicle causes.

      The Allstate representative continued to reject my claim, so the complaint remains unresolved.

      We had a pipe burst in our home on September 2nd. We called Allstate and as directed we called a company to mitigate the damages. Some floors and pieces of walls were removed. Since then , Allstate has not resolved our claims. Our file keeps been transferred to different people and we are just been told our claim is under review. As of now, we are staying in a inhabitable home. Our hone has holes in the walls from the Sheetrock that was removed and we have poxed piled up all over our home from items that were packed by the mitigation company but never removed from the property. We dont have a kitchen counter, nor a sink.This incident was over four months ago. Allstate has not done anything but given us the run around even transferring a file to an adjuster that was scheduled to be on vacation for 10 days. We have been Allstate insureds for many years and definitely they are not delivering the service we pay for. We ask for our claim to be prioritized. Both home owners are both in the 70sh with health issues and is not fair fir them not to have a home the holiday fir no fault of their own.

      We purchased home insurance from Allstate for multiple homes in the Atlanta area in 2012. We purchased "replacement" insurance if anything happened to our residence in *******, **. Late last year we had storm damage to our roof. Now Allstate tells us we are not covered and that we do not have the coverage we thought we did. It seems the agent we had in 2014 changed our policy without our knowledge or consent, and of course the "agent" (********************* by name) is no longer with them. We were never told he was not our agent any longer and the new people in charge of our policies don't have a clue about anything. When we asked about Brian's assistant who we always dealt with, we found out that she quit sometime after *****. We have talked to her subsequently and she told us that the reason she quit Allstate is because of this kind of thing. She told us that we had had everything the way we thought we had but Allstate changed our policy. Now, Allstate is telling us that the coverage we have won't even repair anything back to "code" and that our house is not even covered for what it is worth on the market today. This is fraud and this is only my first step, I want people to know what kind of crooks Allstate (non) Insurance is. I am looking for the right legal firm to take these people down.

      I was involved in an accident with a deer mid November, My car has been at the dealership since that time and not one thing has been done to repair my car. Allstate received pics of the damage and they sent me a check for $2663.60 but the dealership is stating that the damage is close to $7,000.00. I have been without a car since mid November and no repairs have been done to my car because Allstate is not following through. I have been with Allstate for well over 30 years and this is the first time I have made a claim for damage to my car. No one seems to care at Allstate and I am very disappointed in how this is being handled.

      left a compromised roof over my 3 yr olds head after a major hail storm and refused to pay for the roof. Allstate lied and changed what really happened. massive loss of granules over a 10 min period due to hail beating the c*** out of my roof. piles on the ground and gutter full of granules making the integrity of the shingles much less. allstate LIES and puts it as wear and tear over time and refuses to pay. The allstate inspectors act like they are blind and see nothing. This is what happens when corporations are allowed to write their own laws. The consumer gets screwed. This claim has never been settled or accepted by me as their intention is to throw a few dollars at me and hope i will go away.

      1. the state insurance agency said they only investigate illegal activity and do not arbitrate settlements. this was the only response from the state. Allstate is leading you to believe that the state had settled something. This is the exact behavior of allstate that I am talking about. Basically lying and as far as I was concerned lying is illegal but the state was talking about existing law. 

      my complaint was for the massive granule loss of my roof tile during a major hail storm, piles of granule were literally grinded off my roof onto the ground and filling my gutters. anyone who says this does not damage the integrity of the tiles is a liar. everytime i wanted to talk about this i was told that allstate considers that wear and tear over time and the subject would be quickly changed to dents and dings. even wear and tear over time would not produce that much granule loss. This is the lie of allstate calling the massive amount of granule loss that happened during a hail storm wear and tear over time. an absolute 100% lie! i even have text messages save of an allstate rep agreeing with me that my roof tile looked beat ragged! Like i said before i was the only one in the neighborhood unfortunate enough to have allstate as everyone else's roofs were replaced. it's funny that damage was seen everywhere by the allstate inspectors except for the one place i couldn't see for myself.

      I am rejecting this response because: allstate is lying. ******* **** of insurance does not make judgements on claims. this is a fact of law. they investigate illegal activity of which i thought lying was at the time. i also got a letter from indiana **** of insurance stating that they do not make judgements on claims, so this is an outright lie by allstate saying they did make a judgement on the claim. The only outcome state **** had is that no illegal activity was found and that is NOT the same as making a judgement on my claim. i have since requested from allstate to WITHDRAW my claim as it is my legal right to do so. i realize i will not be able to get my money due me from crooks and scammers. they know i had material loss on my roof yet refuse to pay a dime. i will pay it myself and continue my internet campaign to tell my story and cost them lots of money over the long haul. im one they shouldn't had screwed over because im good for my promises unlike allstate. in summation i wish for allstate to withdraw my claim, it is my legal right to do so anyway. Thank you bbb for trying to help, i do appreciate it.

      I have been an Allstate customer for 18 yrs. I never had an issue. Not until my policy was transferred to ***************************** by Allstate. Then all h*** broke loose on me. In December I received a letter from the ************** *** about a lapse in coverage. I spoke to a lady at Allstate and she said everything was fine and she would send the *** the info and email me a copy of the ***1 document. I never received an email from the Allstate representative so figured she probably did not do the other part of her job either. Today I got a collections notice stating I had an unpaid debt of ******! I called Allstate again today. I have spent 4 hrs of my vacation dealing with a mistake made by ******** and ***** Allstate in ****** **. They created a policy for my 17 yr old child, cancelled it, and then still billed me for it..but never sent me a ****. How does one mess up that bad and never catch the mistake? Because of ****** and ***** I have not only wasted my time but I am being charged a $50 civil fee to prove this was all the agency's error. I still have a ****** collection in my name. OH! And I was driving unknowingly for several days with a revoked liscense thanks to ******** and ***** of Allstate. All their mistake! What an horrible nightmare from Allstate. This does not feel like safe hands. This feels like those hands dropped me when ******** and ***** took over my policy.
