    Did not finish job, l had to find another plumber to finish /fix my problem.. Yet they are sending me a bill for $100.00?? I don't have money to pay people for doing nothing.. l would love to rate a 0, but it doesn't give me the option

    Technician came out and left within 10 minutes, nothing is corrected, on day two and I'm still attempting to get them back out here too correct it. As of now I would never recommend or do business again, hopefully it was a bad technician and the company will make it right and show it's not how they do business.

    You must get other quotes. Try ** ****** or ******* Mr. Rooter quotes work then quote more work. And then quote more work until your bill is $14,000. Ultimately my bill from a real professional was $600.

    Tim and Mr. Rooter did an outstanding job fixing our sewer line. From start to finish, their team was professional, courteous, and efficient. They quickly diagnosed the issue, explained the repair process in detail, and got to work right away. The crew was respectful of our property, ensuring everything was left clean and orderly. What impressed us most was their attention to detail and dedication to doing the job right the first time. The entire experience was stress-free, thanks to their expertise and excellent customer service. We highly recommend Mr. Rooter for any plumbing repairs!

    Will try to scam you! Beware! Called for what we thought was a clogged pipe but told we needed a camera crew to come and find the problem since they weren’t able to find the clog. Thankfully the septic company was there at the same time. Mr Rooter tried to tell us our sewer pipe collapsed and we needed $5,600 worth of repairs done. However the septic company was able to find that we just had a toilet paper clog in our septic tank!! Mr Rooter didn’t even try to find another resolution for us. We could have been taken! Never use this company, they know when you are vulnerable and try to take advantage of you.

    Horrible. Hired them to fix clogged bathroom sink drains. Tried to tell me I needed to pay them $4950 to address clog by removing vanity and countertop. They would then rebuild plumbing to add a clean out. Also, I had to tear out vanity and countertop and replace them. Had another well known service come a couple days later and they were done and gone in less than a half hour. From what I’ve see in previous complaints filed against them, appears to be a pattern. Make almost no effort to address problem then call in a camera and charge thousands of dollars for a mystery issue. Guess I looked like an easy mark.

    I just read some of the other negative reviews and my situation is very similar. Had a backed up kitchen sink so we called Mr. Rooter who arrived within a few hours. Two gentleman came and we explained the situation. They said it would be $95 for the clean out but for a mere $5 more we could get another technician to do a camera scope to insure the integrity of the plumbing. My little voice said “be careful another opportunity for an upsell. My wife thought it would be a good idea. So the techs proceeded with the clean out but the end result according to them that they could only snake about ten feet and could go no further. Tree roots they stated. Said the camera man needed to evaluate. So a couple of hours later TJ showed up. He said he was the area manager and was never in the field but was filling in for the regular tech. Another red flag? He proceeded to setup his camera and stated that he could only go in about a foot. When I quetioned why the other guys could go ten feet he replied” my camera head is bigger than the auger. Another red flag? Tree roots he said. Said they would be out of business if it weren’t for tree roots. So he quoted me $4250 to do an exploratory evaluation. I trusted that, based on his evaluation, I had a mass of tree roots occluding my pipe and there were no other options. I asked when they could get to it and he said I was in luck they had a cancellation and he could get a crew early the next morning. Another red flag? Long story short they dug up a large portion of my driveway before breaking through my foundation to find the pipe, cut it open and clear it with a pressure hose. Low and behold not one tree root was found. I have since spoken with another manager and I know that there will be no financial reimbursement. I will dispute what charges on my credit card that I can probably to no avail, but I will exercise all possible social media I can to expose this company as a company not to be trusted. Ps ,I am a senior citizen.

    Schuyler, we apologize for the confusion about what was wrong with your pipe. Our team initially thought it was tree roots causing the blockage but after they dug in your foundation, they found the pipe was completely blocked with grease and other items. There was still a complete blockage that wasn't able to be addressed outside of the pipe, so our team did need to dig regardless of what or where the blockage was coming from. We'd be happy to show you any pictures we've taken before and after to see everything we're speaking about. It's so important for us to provide exceptional service to all of our customers, and we're sorry if we missed the mark with you.     If I could give a negative star, I would and it is no surprise that they are not BBB accredited. Mr Rooter was called to unclog a toilet. The guy came out, snaked it unsuccessfully, and told me their camera guy would have to come out to see where the problem is. The cost for the camera guy to come out was $200. The camera guy, Jason W******, came out and told me I had a collapsed pipe, and they would dig and replace the pipe for $4200. I agreed and paid the required half up front. He located the pipe in the wrong spot. The dig crew busted the concrete and dug a 6 ft area, then called Jason to tell him there was no pipe where it was located so Jason came out again to locate the pipe and told my husband he would discount the repair to $3950 because of the mistake but to sign off on the first invoice of $4200 to close it then the new invoice would replace it. Jason is a salesman and works on commission. He lies to get you to sign for work that is not needed. He also tried to get us to apply for financing for $20K and told us we needed to replace another section of pipe because of a tree root (we have NO TREES in our yard!) It was at that point that I knew we were being scammed and I stopped it there. We paid $8150 for replacing 5 ft of pipe. Jason and the manager, JT, say there were 2 digs and Jason denies telling my husband he was discounting it because of the wrong locate. We also asked for a refund and were laughed at by JT and told that if we tried to sue, they have better lawyers then we do. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MR ROOTER! THEY ARE LIARS, SCAMMERS, AND SHYSTERS!

    The response from Mr Rooter is a joke. It is a form letter that they use and just plug my name in at the appropriate spots. This proves that they do not care for their customers, only money. They got my money and now they're done.

    This is honestly one of the worst, most dishonest companies I have ever experienced. We had Mr. Rooter come out for a pipe that was backing up in the basement on 4/6 - they said they would have to send the camera guy out to check it. We agreed and Kevin came out the following day. He stated there was a collapsed pipe and quoted us almost $4000. We paid 50% down and they scheduled for the next day. they showed up & started breaking the concrete to find that there was no pipe where Kevin marked it. The techs said he would have to come back again and find the CORRECT spot. Kevin came back and found the pipe in a different spot this time, marked it and left. The following morning, Brad showed up to break the concrete again in the right spot and supposedly “replaced the pipe”. Before he left for the day he stated that it was not fixed and that he couldn’t fill the concrete due to the issue not being remedied. Now we have busted up concrete all over the basement and two big holes in the floor. They even left some tools down there. Kevin came back AGAIN to find the actual problem - he NEVER RAN THE CAMERA. He then stated that we needed to “probably just replace the whole line down there” and left to call the big boss, but said he’d be back the next morning. He never showed. We called the office and stated the issue and we were told Kevin wasn’t scheduled to come back out, so we scheduled for him to come between 2-4pm and waited up until 10pm - surprise.. he never showed. We called another 4-5 times in the following days but nobody would answer or call back. They charged my card for the remaining $2000 a few days later. We disputed with the bank but Mr. Rooter said that services were completed. We called to get a refund from them but the boss refused to give my fiancé his name and yelled at him over the phone stating they didn’t do anything wrong and were not refunding anything, as it was completely finished. I wouldn’t recommend them to ANYONE. So unprofessional!

    On June 19, 2024, I spoke with the client. He mentioned that the work was never completed. I assured him that we were willing to return to finish the job, but he insisted on a refund. When I inquired about the functioning of his sewer system, he confirmed it was working properly but noted that we did not fill the holes with concrete and left concrete debris in the basement. I explained that this indicated the job he paid for was done and reiterated our willingness to return to complete the work. He again demanded a refund. I informed him that we would not provide a refund and mentioned that we had attempted to contact him in early May but received no response. The conversation ended with him hanging up on me. Regardless, we are still happy to help in anyway. As always, we cherish our customers.
