Schaumburg Lincoln is a scam company. I purchased a used 2020 Lincoln MKZ on 12/2022 which the car suppose to have one year of factory warranty left. I asked for extended factory warranty and was charged $3,500 for 6 years,, I was told. I did not get a contract at that time because they let me take the car until I bring the down payment within a week. I was text the contract two weeks later unaware it had been changed The third party company name on the contract was a scam.. Six months later I needed service for the car. The company did not honor the contract, therefore, I call the warranty company to cancel, they told me that Schaumburg Lincoln has to cancel and refund my $3,500. I finally got $1540.24 on 6/20/24, I called and was send the balance on 7/22/2024 but on 7/26/24 Schaumburg Lincoln took the money back. I use another warranty company who charged $3000 for 6 years. Schaumburg Lincoln overcharged me and gave less warranty. I was being shift around by ***************** Loan Lender and Schaumburg Lincoln. This dealership is a big scam. Do not go there. O Rating

Too bad I can't give them 0 stars. I took my car in for service because of some idling vibrations. Let me start by saying that when I took my car in for service, the check engine light was OFF. I got it back and the check engine light is now ON. Help me figure that one out. So after $1,100 not only is my vehicle repaired improperly; but to add insult to injury, I can't use my remote starter to preheat my car here in the 20 degree weather. Lincoln cars will not remote start with a check engine light on. I asked for a loaner vehicle, they never have any. They kept my car for 4 days and called me repeatedly at the most inconvenient times. Each time they called it was a new "find" of suggested repairs. During one of these suggested repair calls the service guy mentioned, "Even with getting these additional things done, it still might not solve your issue." Huh? So you mean to tell me I'm supposed to spend another $900 (as my estimate was already at the $1,100) and it still might not even correct the problem? Of course after I challenged the service guy's statement, he went on to give me some super technical & cockamamie explanation that still doesn't make sense. So I went on further to challenge him. I asked about the repair history to learn if any of the parts were under warranty. He fixed his mouth to say that they didn't have any history on my vehicle. Wow! It seems to me they worked on all the other issues they saw (or invented) as opposed to the initial issue for which I brought my car. Here's the kicker. Once my car was ready, he calls me 30 minutes before close. So of course they had no shuttle service available to pick me up. Get there, the car is filthy! My car was not vacuumed, washed, and there was grease on my seats from the repairman's clothing. I will never recommend this dealership for service or purchase & I will never take my car back there again!

I called them and told them I was on my way to look at a car. When I got there the car was filthy. We discussed having the car clean. They added four grand to the car for some coating warranty. I told them I didnt want it. It took me almost leaving for them to considerably drop the price. They showed me the bottom line and I signed and agreed. The next morning they sent me a bill of sale for me to take to my bank. When I returned the next day the car was still filthy. While signing paperwork they wanted me to sign a credit report paper calling it an ******** 5 liner after looking it up and not finding anything like that they agreed I didnt have to do it. Then the salesman came back and asked me to sign a paper saying they messed up on the taxes and I owed another $700. I told them it was their fault and they needed to eat it. We both agreed to the bill of sale price the day before. He told me it was nothing he could do. I tore up the paperwork and left. When I took the check back to my bank and explained what happened he said they had already overcharged me $8 in taxes so there was no need to pay any more. Im sent some emails but nothing has happened.

Horrible customer service that cheat money out of you. Someone made a mistake on my paper work and instead of trying to resolve it with me they waited 3 months and just sent me to collections. They know they made the mistake and I have emails and papers to prove it. Unbelievable.
