This company called my friends business trying to verify employment for me. I do not even work there. They were asking for my name and date of birth. The girl assumed it was a scam and hung up. This company is asking illegal private information.Business response

On 09/03/2021, my employer received an email from them requesting information about me. They have also now received a phone call about my information as well. I have not received any personal phone calls from this company nor I have I received anything in the mail. I feel it is unprofessional of them to reach out to my employer prior to making contact with me. I have no voicemails left by this company that might have been missed while working. I feel as that they may be phishing for information.Business response

My employer was called 2x in one day, which violates Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I do not want to be verified or contacted at work. I never received anything in the mail or on my personal phone. I do not need you calling where I work to harass people. Take me off the calling list now.Business response

This company has been harassing my former employer asking for information on my behalf. They have emailed prior employees who have nothing to do with *************** asking for my personal information. This is embarrassing and illegal. Do not contact anyone including previous employers in regards to me. You have done a soft pull on my credit report and have my information so unsure why you would be contacting anyone but me! Stop now or I will seek counsel.Business response

This company has repeatedly contacted my previous employer, despite being told that my previous employer will not release any information without a signed authorization form me. I will not sign an authorization. I have no open collections, so there is no legitimate reason for them to contact myself or my previous employer. As the caller refuses to release any information as to whom hired them, I can only surmise this is a scam. Verifacts must immediately cease all contact between themselves and any past or current employer.Business response

On August 13th, 2021 Verifacts called my employer and said they are updating my employers, list of employee's which is a lie to find out all they did is ask if this was my name and DOB and if I currently am employed where I am employed but they do not work for my company to update anything, this should not be legal if they have a client wanting something do it the legal way not sneaky way if we were to sneak this stuff we would get in trouble. This is like scamming to get identity from people. They need to be stopped at once and should not be able to call or proceed anything at my place of employment along with who they are working for!!!!!!Business response
