Booked a trip, cost was $120,000 for tour and $18,000 for airlines, 3 people going to ******. Paid for excellent coverage from 7 Corners. My 70th birthday with son and daughter. About 6 months in son had accident which he tour his left rotator cuff so badly that it severed. Called airline, tour company, seven corners. Told tour company to rebook in 2025 same trip. Called travel agent and he said, No way airline will give you money back. I told them I didn't want this $18,000 to hurt this insurance company and I would work some back channels to see what I might be able to get back. Call 7 corners and ask them did they want me to try to get some of the money back because I had owned one of the largest travel angency in the world and I thought I could get some money back and they wouldn't have to pay the full $18,000 spent a month doing this and got back about half of the $18,000 so I said, "Now you only have to insure us for the lesser amount. That is where they started asking me same questions over and over, ask for hospital cost, letter from doctors as they should. We got it 3 times this went on for months until I got fed up and call my attorney who was with one of the largest firms in the ** and International. I gave them 5 day to have the money in my account or I would sue for remainder of tickets, attorney fees and pain and suffering. Guess what in my account when I demanded by that date. I have the resources to hire a top notch attorney and I could sustain the lost of my airline tickets but my question to anyone reading this is CAN YOU SUSTAIN A LOSS BECAUSE THIS COMPANY WILL DO EVERYTHING NOT TO PAY ANYONE A DIME. It turned out ok for me because I had the money to hire the best attorneys but do you because you will have to!!! I guess this is why people hate insurance companies...I didn't I believed they would see my cost were honest and they would pay..sorry but I was wrong 7 corners were heartless.

Thank you for leaving your review, and we understand you are unhappy with the claims process. In review of the file, it does appear the claim in question was paid in January of 2025. We will review the timeline taken to process the claim internally.

This was sent to you on 1`/4/2025 --------------- Original Message ---------------From: *** **** ]Sent: 1/4/2025, 4:47 PM To: ********************************** Subject: discussion on insurance As you can see this is the email I sent you and finally when I got my attorney on the email and told him if they don't pay now please take over this claim.Dear Seven Corners,My son, called your company and recorded the discussion on his Apple phone while he had your agent was on the line a few weeks ago. He told her not to hang up because he was going to forward them for the 4rd time the information you have requested and he wanted to know 100% that she received them so this would stop. She said to him, Yes, I got all of them. So can you tell me why 2 weeks later you are asking for the information for the 5th time? What will it take for you to acknowledge that you have them? I assume you are trying to push this process back so we will be out of your schedule timeline. Right now I have had enough from your company. I worked hard on **************** to help get you half of the airlines charges back so it wouldnt be such a hit finically ($18,000.00) for your company. Something I will never do again. I paid you around $13,000.00 for our travel insurance to ****** and I am due a refund of around $9000.00 because of an unexpected torn rotator cuff. You will still will make money off of me so do your job. I would like to have someone in charge call me. We have given you all the documents ask for and have sent proof that the airlines tickets were booked and then canceled due to an accident. We showed you that we rebooked the tickets for ****** in September 2025. The surgeon who performed the operation, at The ***********************, in ************* provided us a copy of the letter he sent to your claims department, several times. Maybe you would like to talk to a representative from our personal medical insurance, ******************** so that you can see what we paid for the said operation on the date we showed you or provide you with a photo of my sons horrible scars down his shoulder and arm. As you can see I have attached our personal & business attorney. Our attorney has been an partner for the past 29 years ****************** is one of the largest and most formidable legal firms in the ***. Hopefully we will not have to go this route but I am fully prepared to do this if you do not pay this claim. I have grown tired of dealing with your company's and individuals dishonesty and your blatant refusal to admit you have received all documents. I am turning this over to my attorney firm at the end of the week if not received in my checking account.*** **** (Finally they paid when they knew I had enough and it was being turned over to attorney)

I had a wonderful experience with Seven Corners. While on vacation in ****** last summer (2024), ******* went on strike and I had difficulty getting a flight back home. I kept all my receipts for the extra food and lodging expenses and submitted them when I returned home. The customer service **** were all wonderful and walked me through the steps. They were also quick with the reimbursement. I plan to use them again on an upcoming trip.

Total waste of money! My flight was canceled due to weather and no other flights with my airline were flying to my destinatinon for the rest of the day. I took the time to call a representative with Seven Corners and ask since I would be delayed for roughly 18 hours with my current airline company if my insurance would cover a ticket with another airline(much higher price) to get home sooner. The person I spoke to had broken English so we were having issues communicating. I asked her if my situation would be covered and she kept saying she couldn't guarantee anything, that I would have to file a claim once my trip was completed. Of course my claim was denied because I ended up getting home and not being delayed 6 hours. I called a representative to ask more questions and this time got someone who spoke clear English and she explained the reason they were not covering it. I asked why didn't the person I originally spoke to didn't tell me this and she said they should have advised me that it would not cover my situation. So, because someone with SC didn't know their own policies, it cost me. Clearly if I had known this, I could have got reimbursed for travel to a hotel and back, meals, and flown out the next day with my original airline.

I bought this insurance to cover an almost $4,000 flight about 8 months before traveling and I am so happy I did because I became really sick a couple days before I had to leave. I am so incredibly grateful insurance companies like this exist and are honest. The customer service I received was fantastic and the process to file the claim, although a lot of documents are needed for obvious reasons, was straightforward. Thank you so much for all you do! Would highly recommend, especially if it is an expensive trip. Will purchase again!

My travel companion and I both got sick with the flu on our cruise. We had onboard medical expenses of $350 and $411 between us. We filed a claim with 7 Corners. The claims submission process is not easy. They ask for things like credit card statement showing you paid for cruise. Then we waited 6 weeks and heard nothing. I called and they said they needed proof we paid for the medical services (we had already provided the detailed medical bill and they did not specify wanting proof of payment of the medical charges at the onset). Obviously, any company that deals with cruises as 7 Corners does, knows that no cruise line is going to let a passenger off the ship without paying their entire bill (for booze, t-shirts, medical services, etc). After many hoops, we got a final stateroom bill from Princess and submitted it to 7C. After providing my stateroom charges, they informed me they would pay $151 of my over $300 claim and $366 of my partner's. They came to this figure as it was the "balance" of our stateroom bills when we got off the ship. This includes all charges and credits (we had several hundred dollars of credits after a port-of-call was canceled at which I had paid for an activity, I canceled a specialty dinner that was pre-paid, and had a $100 credit as part of the booking promotion). So, Seven Corners paid us only the balance of what I owed Princess ******* in total for all expenses minus credits we incurred on our cruise, not the actual out-of-pocket costs we incurred for a covered claim from having visited the cruise medical center. I am filing a complaint with my state insurance commissioner and speaking to a lawyer. This company is a total scammer. They don't know who they are effing with!

I used this company for travel insurance and had multiple flight delays causing me to completely miss the second leg of my trip. I had specifically purchased their insurance to cover in case there were any issues and didn't find out until after that they were going to refuse to cover any of it.

They take 30 days to respond to your inquiry, passing months of inactivity until you're exhausted, and they deny you with a long fine print that you'd need an attorney to read. I would've saved more time and money if I hadn't hired them int he first place. My last time I'm using them.

DO NOT buy insurance through this company. I had been traveling solo through ************** for two months and had signed up for a group tour going through three additional countries to close out my trip. Right before my tour was set to begin, I took a couple bad steps and injured my knee which I'd had surgery on two years prior. It flared up so bad I couldn't walk and was heavily limping in pain for three days. I was in **************** alone and the only medical option on the weekend was the *** which would have been more expensive and wouldn't have helped because they would've had to run an MRI to see what was truly wrong with it. I knew at that point the only thing I could do was go home and see my surgeon, but my tour was supposed to start the next day. I knew there was no way I could complete a two week adventure tour in that state - we'd have to be constantly moving and traveling every single day. I made the decision to fly home and get the medical help I needed, which consisted of a lot of rest and additional physical therapy. My surgeon said I absolutely made the right call. However, after submitting a medical interruption claim and waiting over a month, Seven Corners denied my claim since I hadn't seen a medical professional before I flew home. Was I supposed to pay for additional nights in a hotel in a huge city as a woman all by herself just to see a doctor who would probably tell me "oh looks like you're in tremendous pain and can't walk, you should probably go home and not do a two week adventure tour." They expect you to follow every single one of their guidelines otherwise you get 0. There's no grey area with this company. 99% of the time life isn't going to work out so simply like that when you're traveling. I lost a lot of money on the tour and will not be using them again. Save your money and buy travel insurance elsewhere.

I travel a lot and this was by far the worst insurance-related experience I have ever had. Mid-trip, we had to fly home to handle a serious health issue with our daughter. I submitted all the paperwork and the only time I heard back from them was the result of me reaching out to them. On the average, I only heard from them every two months. When I did, they inundated me with paperwork, which I submitted everything they asked but it was never "correct" and they constantly asked for more forms to be filled out. It took a year for them to deny the claim. I appealed and they still denied the claim, even though the policy I paid for should have been honored.

This company has the worst customer service. I just filed a small claim over some lost luggage. I can't imagine being left in a foreign country. I would really be on my own. Skip this place and find another ( any other) insurance company!
