We have lived at ****************** Apartments for a few years, maintenance is lazy, hiding in their vehicles, staff is lazy, trash around property not cleaned up, dog f**** all over property, neither the owner of the dog or maintenance will clean up the dog feces, they feel it's just better to leave it on the ground. You go up to the so called property manager and make a complaint, and all she says it's an apartment complex what do you want me to do, but that's her excuse is for trespassers, speeders that drive on the property. You make a complaint, nothing is done, then you go above her head, and it's just as bad, even worse, now you are viewed as a nuisance, but your complaints are never addressed. You are double billed for trash, trash is included in rent, then they want some trash concierge service to come in and then you have to pay more money for, even though you never signed up for the service. When the trash concierge people come in they are slamming every door, dragging their bag that has leaking trash bags in it that gets whatever was leaking all over this nasty carpet. If you complain about their lack of clearing snow, they put the snow from the snow plow on the sidewalk, instead of moving it to empty parts of a parking lot, or they just have the snow plow driver put it in parking spaces that are by the building, which takes away from residents parking in front of the building. Now when you are no longer an asset, they kick you out, even though you pay rent on time, but they want to block your rent payment, then telling you that they only accept cash as a form of payment. All this is is a money grab, avoid all Birge and Held properties, we have looked at reviews and all of the birge and held properties are complicit in similar activities. Don't pay attention to 5 star reviews, those are just plants.

**One-Star Review for ******* at Sugarloaf**I was referred to this property by Promove, and I want to start by acknowledging the leasing staffTiffany, ******, and Travisfor their kindness and willingness to show me different units over the course of two months. However, despite their efforts, I am giving this experience a one-star rating. After a long apartment search, I finally applied for unit 1312, a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit that would have been perfect for me and my two daughters. I submitted all the required documents as requested by *******, who initially informed me that everything looked good. Then, after further requests from district manager ***** *********, I submitted additional documents, including a bank statement that I provided by 4:30 PM on the day before my scheduled move-in.On my move-in day, January 29, 2025, I called ****** to confirm that all my documents were submitted and that I was set to move in. After waiting a few hours, I spoke with *******, who informed me that there was a red flag. This red flag stemmed from a minor issue back in November when my boss accidentally overpaid me via *****, and I reimbursed him. Despite being approved for the apartment, ***** decided against my approval, questioning why I needed to move in so fast, even after ****** assured her that I had been actively visiting the property.I am deeply frustrated and disappointed. It feels like a waste of time and effort to go through the application process only to be denied by someone who clearly had no intention of letting me move in. Now, my belongings are packed in a moving truck since the 28th, and I have nowhere to go.I strongly advise against applying here. You might receive an approval, but it means nothing if ***** ********* can arbitrarily decide to reject it. Save yourself the headache!

I cannot recommend Sailpointe Apartments based on my experience. Initially, I was drawn to the appealing design and prime location. However, substantial issues quickly overshadowed my excitement. The primary concern was an inoperative AC unit that left my apartment unbearably hot for months. Despite repeated attempts to reach management, I received minimal updates and inadequate temporary solutions, which affected my well-being and that of my pet. Furthermore, several smaller maintenance problems went unresolved despite marked completion.Trusting my initial woes were isolated, I transitioned to a larger unit. This move introduced a persistent issue: mismanagement of a $500 transfer fee. Despite assurances that all was settled, I was later told I owed these funds. This coincided with additional property issues, such as unclean environments and damaged flooring, which were evident upon moving in. Attempts to resolve these matters have been met with poor communication and inaction.Overall, this experience has been frustrating and disheartening. I am seeking recommendations for filing a formal complaint given the persistent management failures I've faced.

They charge fees for things they say they have "proof" of, but won't send you the proof. I've been waiting for people to come sand and paint drywall for TWO years. They blame long term residents who pay their rent on time and can charge fees for whatever they want, just because they said you did them.

I moved into The Seasons of ****** officially on 7/6. However, I was unable to make it to the apartment until 7/11. I kept the property manager updated every day about my arrival. When I did finally arrive, I found the apartment absolutely filthy. I have about 70 photos of pure filth on every surface in this apartment. Dog hair matted into counters/cabinets and even IN the oven. Pubic hair, dust, garbage, etc. I was advised to go eat breakfast while they had the apartment cleaned. It was supposed to be comped for my trouble. The apartment was still not clean. As the days passed, I found that my master shower did not work and the sink constantly drips, the fridge is excessively loud, the light under the microwave doesnt work, etc. Essentially, this apartment was not cleaned or maintenanced at all before my move in. Yet, no one has reached out to me to address these issues.

Hope is well. Please see the emails and contacts that I have attempted to speak with someone regarding the residence at *********** in **********************. I went for a walk-through and came out with my car window open the sliding glass door God looks like Spider-Man, which I am being very facetious And cordial in regards to it looks like somebody ran up in the apartment. I do need somebody to get in contact with me before I get in contact with the Better Business Bureau if I do not hear response. I ended up becoming homeless and in between places due to the lack of carelessness on your part and your staff Due to the process was very untimely when things Were done timely on my part. Ive written on the Website as well and no response. *** left a message on your direct line and still no response. Please inform me on how I should direct the situation in order to resolve an issue because this is not going to be on my credit report and should not be. I dont have to see legal action in regards to this And I want to respond as soon as possible, thank you in advance. Have a great a week!!!Best Regards, *****************

I regret to say that my experience renting from ************** Alinium Apartments has been nothing short of a nightmare. It is abundantly clear that the company's commitment to maintaining their properties was sorely lacking. First and foremost, the condition of the apartment itself was appalling. The Trash pile outside of the non functional trash compactor was always unsightly, But perhaps the most egregious issue was the persistent water damage caused by pipes bursting. It's astonishing how frequently this occurred around the entire complex, and each time it happened, it disrupted our lives and left us dealing with the aftermath of flooded floors and damaged belongings. The companies response time and and time to act to these incidents was also very poor. Despite my efforts to contact the office, it took several days for the office to respond about the event and then 2 more days to present their plan of action. When i asked why this was taking so long the answer was that they were having so many similar floods that they couldn't handle all of them at once. Their plan of action was to finally bring over a dehumidifier more than a week after the incident! I wont even tell you the chaos of the poor remediation that took place after. Mainly you walk in without proper notice of your place completely trashed and covered in construction dust. I had to reside in an unlivable place for the next several days. They never did finish the work while i was there for the next two weeks. Just lived with a hole in the ceiling and got out quickly before the water soaked carpet started to get too moldy. (BTW, they then tried to charge me $500 for replacing that carpet and immediately sent it to collections rather than trying to contact me.) The amenities promised to tenants were a far cry from what was advertised. the pool heater remained broken for and entire year, rendering it unusable for the majority of the seasons. Mandatory paid services unavailable. BAD!

I highly do not recommend living at *****************. After trying to contact birge and held several times I have come here to share my experience from one of their properties and employees. Parking is a horrible battle. You will likely be on a 3-4 month waiting list for a parking spot in the garage which will cost more in rent. If you dont have a parking spot, good luck parking. The noise in this apartment is horrendous. Not even the noise outside but unless you are living on the top floor of the complex, youre constantly hearing noise from the people above you, and its very loud. The hallways are always dirty and frequently have dog pee and p*** (one as pictured) that do not get cleaned. It smells horrible. Over the weekends you will probably find throw up and alcoholic drinks that will sit for weeks and not get cleaned up. The dumpsters are frequently overflowing and the trash pick up service daily is convenient but makes the hallways smell horrible. The staff at the complex are extremely unprofessional and rude. Unless you are on ******** favorite list of people, good luck. Youll probably have better luck dealing with people at the bmv than in this office. They are extremely unfair to residents and do not treat residents equally whatsoever. ******** arrogance and egotism seems to run off all of the good staff that are decent and nice people to communicate with like ***. Its honestly not worth the price you pay to live here, living at Aqua or the complex right across the street would be better worth your time and money.

This apt complex is a joke ! They falsely accused me of owing them money , I had proof from my bank that I dont owe them one ***** , no one from management even bother to call me back after I took all my paper work into the office to show proof, left a message with upper management on their phone that ********** gave me . They sent my information to an attorney , filed into the courts all on False aggregations. They attempted to *** me and had my money in their possession the whole time . They had a date to take possession of their apartment stating that I was being evicted, on their property illegally, and had a date set for damages set as well with the courts , it was all false , a blatant lie . No one from management even considered rectifying the situation with me., I never received a call from any one . After living here for 13 yrs

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible dont move into any of these residences. Joke of a company lived with black mold for 8 months told the complex because my fiance is pregnant and they came in and spray painted over it and bleached it ????, so clearly they dont take us serious or our health. The mold came back and got worse and nothing else got done they got us into another apartment after 8 months with black mold, getting sick from it, coughing, fever, chills, and lethargic from this for months, also mold was caused from a leak in the roof that was known. Once moved into the other apartment, guess what, more f****** problems yet again, fridge goes out and havent got a fridge in 18 days, lost 300$ worth of groceries, couldnt save anything so we had to eat out everyday and my fiance is still pregnant, so 300$ worth of groceries and eating out for 18 days due to this is about 1080$ because thats about 60$ a day just to eat out now. Fix your guys problem give me a call me and lets settle this because you guys are a joke and dont take care of tenants, you guys just f*** them over, also the fridge was a known problem too because our neighbor said he had the fridge and told them about it ????????.
