      I tried to close my bank account on June 3rd, paying the negative balance. They said they would. Account is still open, and they are charging me overdraft fees for each withdrawal still. I called the dispute department this morning to freeze my account (though it should have been closed). They would not do it for me.

      Republic Bank and Trust account #******, Loan #****** is an identity theft account. This account was opened without my knowledge or permission. I have had zero contact with Republic Bank and Trust, if they have sent any correspondence to me, I **** ***** did not receive it. If any correspondence has been answered, it was not by me **** *****, but by the person that committed the identity theft. My information was used by my then now ex-wife without my knowledge or permission, she had access to all my personal data as she took care of all the bills and taxes. The phone number and email addresses used are hers, she also lied about the cost of rent on the application. I would like a copy of any/all correspondence between Republic Bank and Trust and my ex posing as me, especially any correspondence within the past two (2) years. I have also filed an identity theft report with the DOJ website, CFPB and now the BBB. I would like some answers. The "Final Response" from the FDIC I have not received that from Republic Bank and Trust, I suspect it was sent to the identity theft.

I sent the entire report, that how it saves as a PDF. I also sent them a photo of my VALID US GOVERNMENT ISSUED PASSPORT (attached).

      I am rejecting this response because: All the businesses listed on the identity theft report are extremely untrustworthy and withhold evidence. I will be printing all the communication from Republic Bank/Elastic, original application and transaction list. As well as all the information/communications with the other identity theft accounts listed on the identity theft report and sending them to the FBI office in Kansas City for an investigation, since the local sheriff's office refuses to investigate because the accounts started in FL.

      Pleased see attachments. My dispute is with Republic Bank and Trust refusing to dispute charges by *** **** **** ********. The disputed amounts with Republic Bank & Trust total $925.85. Since *** **** **** ******** didn't leave me an invoice as was stated by the technician, I requested a copy of the invoice from Republic Bank & Trust. When I received a copy of the invoice from Republic Bank & Trust, the copy was blurred and missing page numbers in the right-hand corner Republic Bank & Trust's statement. *** **** **** ******** signed 3 signatures on an invoice that look nothing like my signature. installed a thermostat I didn't want, and improperly wired the thermostat they installed, disconnected the heat to my house. Additionally *** **** **** ******** charged my credit card for a care package that I didn't want or ask for. I provided Republic Bank & Trust with an invoice from ******* ******* *** ****** to prove the incompetent work done by *** **** **** ********, and Republic Bank & Trust has done nothing about the dispute that includes fraud. Republic Bank and Trusts sends me emails about protection from fraud and to contact Republic Bank & Trust at ************ if I have experienced fraud. However when I contacted Republic Bank & Trust, my complaint of fraud was ignored. When I have called Republic Bank & Trust, I have listened to a recording that states Republic Bank& Trust is constantly monitoring debit and credit cards, and that is not true. When I told the Republic Bank & Trust employee about the recording that Republic Bank & Trust claims to be constantly monitoring debit and credit for fraud, the employees response is that is a third party. Republic Bank & Trust didn't report the fraud to law enforcement. When Republic Bank & Trust performed computer upgrades, changes were made to my account that affected a direct deposit. Addionally, Republic Bank & Trust signed me up updates on my account that I didn't request.

      I reject the response from ***** ******** with Republic Bank and Trust.

      I have now resolved this issue on my own.  It has taken me 10 months without any help from as Republic Bank and Trust.  Republic Bank and Trust were clearly not going to handle this complaint.

      Republic Bank and Trust cannot be trusted and doesn't protect their customers.
      I am their customer and was denied assistance regarding this matter by the employees working for Republic Bank and Trust.

      Republic Bank and Trust is why banks like ***** ******** **** and Silicon Valley failed in 2023.

      I believe that I gave a detailed complaint that outlined what transpired with *** **** **** ******** and Republic Bank and Trust.
      I provided dated letters sent to me by Republic Bank and Trust and the dates on which I received them, stating they were closing my complaint. Their letters were dated before the letters they sent could be received by me.
      Republic Bank and Trust doesn't allow customers the same time frame that Republic Bank and Trust takes to send a customer a letter.
      I stated that the complaints were supposedly opened by the Kentucky customer support of Republic Bank and Trust, but the complaints were ignored.

      I provided an invoice showing that another company had to repair the incompetent work done by *** **** **** ********, which Republic Bank and Trust ignored.

      I didn't receive an invoice from *** ****.  I received *** ****'s  invoice from Republic Bank and Trust that was blurred and missing page numbers.  This invoice didn't outline what the charges covered.

      Republic Bank and Trust recordings "during their hold time on the phone"  state they are constantly monitoring debit and credit cards for fraud. That is clearly untrue.  I reported the fraud to Republic Bank and they still ignored my concern. 
      Republic Bank and Trust sends emails warning of fraud and to report fraud, however when I informed Republic Bank and Trust of Fraud, they ignored my complaint.

      *** **** states that they prevailed because Republic Bank and Trust supported them.

      I didn't authorize a $445.00 thermostat.
      I didn't authorize a thermostat to be IMPROPERLY WIRED.
      I didn't authorize that the HEAT TO MY HOUSE BE DISCONNECTED.
      I didn't authorize for ANYBODY or Business to sign my name on any invoice.

      Republic Bank and Trust is just as crooked as the scam artists they protect.

      Also, my complaint was and is against Republic Bank and Trust for their incompetence and deception.

      When filing my tax return with ********** they use Republic Bank and the fees are charged through Republic Bank I was charged 54.99 to have my refund direct deposited and the funds were never direct deposited, I have received both my state and my federal returns in paper form. When contacting ****** they put all the blame on Republic bank for taking the funds for this service out of my state return without it being direct deposited. Then the people working with them give out a phone number where you can't contact someone to speak about this complaint.

      I wanted to bring to your attention an urgent matter regarding my extremely delayed tax refund for the year 2021. After speaking with multiple supervisors from both the IRS and Tax Act, it has been confirmed that my refund of $6000+ is currently being held by Republic Bank. However, they haven't issued the refund back to the IRS for almost two years! Which is causing a delay in receiving it even after the irs has sent multiple requests for it to come back. I'm reaching out to you in the hopes that we can find a solution to this issue as soon as possible. It's been quite a frustrating experience, with both parties pointing fingers at each other. I’ve spent countless hours on the phone trying to get this resolved and truly believe republic bank should be offering compensation for the hours upon hours of inconvenience. I really just want this settled as soon as possible so I can get past this nightmare.

      So I filed my taxes and used this company as the loan and what not place. I paid 54.95 for assisted return. Which means the fees and such would come out of my federal return. However I get my state return today and it's very short. It's $914 short. I didn't pay a fee to have them take the money out of my state refund when I was clearly told it would come out of my federal return. Nothing on their site said my state return would be taken to pay fees. Everything said federal.

      On 1/13/2024 I filed for a refund advance loan through ******* ****** just like I have for many years before and have been approved but this time I was not approved and was still charged for the refund assist that was not given to me. I am unsure why I was told by ******* ****** that your criteria and nothing in the criteria has change except my credit has improved since last year and I now reside in Texas and my location should have nothing to do with that. I don't owe tax my student loan is not in default I do not owe child support. So it makes no sense to me why i was denied. I also have a claim against ******* ****** for misinforming me that I could get a refund advance after I was denied for a holiday advance. Because in all actuality for some unexplained reason I was denied for the tax season in December that I was going to be denied for unexplained reason in January with my w2s. That should be stated so that people are not conned into paying both you and ******* ****** for these advance that you are not going to give to some for not explained reason after you have done it for several years before. So it was either the amount of my refund which is false advertisement because it is said as long as your refund is over 500 dollars. So I am thoroughly confused I just feel conned by both you and ******* ******.

      On 11/27/2023 my account was debited for #376.90 by Republic Bank & Trust Company via my ****** ***** **** for an ********** *** *****l. But ********** only charged $300 Security Deposit and $27.74 Damage Waiver, because I paid for the rental using ********** Plus Points for a total of $327.74. (I have the ********** Receipt and ****** Screenshots). On 11/29/2023, I filed a fornal Complaint via email against ****** for stealing the $49.14 and they blatantly lied by stating that ********** only released the $300 Security Deposit and basically kept the $49.14 and they suggested I contact ********** and ********** said the ****** was lying and told me to check the Receipt (which I did). Upon reviewing the receipt I saw that I was only charged the $27.74 Damage Waiver and Republic Bank should have released $349.14 instead of $300. I have been renting Cars from ********** every month for at least five years now and each of these months Republic Bank & Trust Company has been stealing the 15% Security Deposit that they add along with **********'s $300 Security Deposit and I have repeatedly complained/disputed the majority of these transactions, but Republic Bank & Trust Company ****** Customer Support always tried to use creative bookkeeping via their responses and I end up forgetting to follow up. I intend to pursue this until they are formally audited this time!
