      I had a medical bill that I had paid in full from my statement, but the company still sent me to these collectors. My first call I talked to a guy who told me that I still owed $40.06 and he kept interrupting me when I was trying to tell him that everything that they sent me a collection letter for had been paid online on the medical company’s website on December 6, 2024. He cut me off when I tried to ask what I needed to do to show proof that it had been paid before I was turned over to collections. He said he had another call coming in and he needed to get that and he put me on hold. He never came back, so I called back and talked to a lady. She listened to me and explained that the company had sent some of the payments over to them. The guy was very condescending and wouldn’t listen. I gave them a 1 star only because the lady was nice, listened to my questions and took care of me. If that had happened on my first call, I wouldn’t have had an issue at all.

      They are a horrible company. I provided them proof that I had paid the bills in question and they still forced me to pay. They all care about making money from themselves not the truth. I fee sorry for anyone that has to deal with them.

      GLA Collection - Louisville is refusing to send a letter validating the debt. I've requested an itemized statement or bill since 2021 but was told they can no longer contact their client. Nor will their client accept a settlement. I have added a note to the debt on my credit file and will continue to file complaints and reviews. I will play the waiting game until the debt is removed from my credit report in 2027.

      The account information was verified with our client. An itemized statement was sent to the patient. Another copy can be sent if you contact our office. The information is correct and due. The account has been marked as disputed.

      I love GLA they are the only company that will allow you to pay a collection and send immediate deletion letter. They go above and beyond for our clients all the time.

      Customer service is awful. I was told “bye” while asking a clarifying question because she was not very clear. Did not seem qualified for her job or even willing to help others. 0/10.

      I set up a payment plan to pay the debt off in full they said it wouldn't go on my credit report well 2 months in they put it on my credit report and now dropped my score significantly. They are liars watch out.

      iT is not our policy to hold accounts from credit reporting if the account is on a payment plan. Credit reporting is authorized by our client. The account in question is paid and the trade line requested to be removed.

      GLA Collection - Louisville Called after receiving a second notice - that was paid - and spoke with "Tyler" who was very condescending, rude and quite unprofessional. He stated, in a raised voice, that he was "trying to help" me figure out why I had received a second notice if I had paid the bill. Undue and unnecessary verbal treatment from this agent.

      I have repeatedly left message to have them mail letters and stop call 2 o3 times a day several times a week. Harassment at its finest. My husband is very ill and the debt is about 6 or 7 years old to which he has not recieved a bill from the original hospital. I also have a collection I cannot recall ever receiving a bill from the hospital for. And it's been over 7 years so now they call all the time. We are disabled and cannot afford to pay these bills like they want to want to lock us in to a payment plan. Any way to stop the harrassment.
