He gave me a bid to redo my existing Hardwood floors and to lay new hardwood floors in the dining room and 3 bedrooms, in about 2 weeks. I agreed and gave him first installment on June 16, 2024. The floors are still not done and what is done is very unprofessional and here it is August 15,2024 and THE HOUSE IS IN A COMPLETE MESS!!!!! A couple of the floors that were done are going to have to be tore out and redone. Instead of using the Hardwood Man to do the work he attempted to do it himself, probably to save money so not to have to pay him, but the work is very unprofessional. Plus, I have given him all the money that the bid was for., 5 total checks and I still owed him a little over 2,900.00 and he told me to use that to buy the rest of the hardwood and pay the hardwood man working for him at the time. I know that was my mistake, but I was trying to help him out and get my floors done and he was going through a hard time in his life. He took advantage of me throughout the process and played on my kindness. Apparently, the workers were not getting paid and walk off the job a couple of times and there I was left right in the middle of the dispute. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!! He also did a yard project which I was pretty pleased with, but even at that he still did not complete everything he said he would do. He would always insure me that he would get everything done not to worry, but he did not. I hate to have to make a review of this nature, but I do not want others to have to go through what I have gone through in last 3 months.

What happened here is Mrs Duke was convinced by two of my employees who weren't showing up for the job hardly at all that they weren't getting paid and that I wasn't paying them enough after they found out what the total job was paying because Mrs Duke told them what the total job was paying and that's what they got upset over and that's what this whole thing arose from is her talking to them about the job about the pricing they got upset they talked to her in letting them do the last part of the job which is the bedroom which is 25% of what the job was and I agreed at the end just let them have the job let them do the job and so everybody be happy if she wanted him to the job but it ends up not only did they get the job from me they stole some of my tools they stole one of my chainsaws and yet they have yet to be back to do the job for her and she leaves me and one star review after I had done so much work in her backyard making it like a park like that back there the park like setting patios retaining walls beautiful work she loved it neighbors loved everybody loved it was doing a great job inside until she was done this way by two of my employees it's really really a bad situation that someone can go on here and leave a review like that and it's posted without hearing the other side of the story that's not that's not fair it's just not fair I understand you all have a job to do and you all get a lot of stuff like this daily but on this occasion this is not what happened
