      After more than 10 years with Humana and this company lacks credibility. My wife’s prescriptions and auto refills were just wiped out of their system, due to a system update according to a non-English speaking customer service person in a foreign country. Needed medicine that should have been refilled weeks ago are now delayed because Humana has to contact our doctor for a new prescription. This company is so not customer friendly.

      Humana Medicare will without regret, lie to there customers. The agents have little or no knowledge of plan coverages. After almost 20 years with Humana, I am switching to Aetna. The grievance procedure is an absolute joke as well as many what they call customer service. If I respected, I would have capitalized the position.

      Humans won't care about this review , even with their dismal rating , they are one of the highest profit health insurance companies . They dropped my wife and I because of our zip code . Wait What ? They make so much money they don't want my business , so they toss us aside without a second thought . For that I give them a half of a star ??

      I definitely wouldn't give even one start that's how bad this company is. Long story short I see a rheumatologist and asked about them covering my visits with my rheumatologist from the get go. Oh yeah we cover she is in our network. They paid all the bills from my rheumatologist from January when I got on to August. Now in September all of sudden denied and out of network. So they have left me with an 8 thousand and odd dollar bill. They claim my rheumatologist went out of network. SO I contacted my rheumatologist and their office said no we have always been in network and this is going on with other patients they have . And Humana told me to fax a primary doctor note referring me to my rheumatologist. I have now twice and funny it just seems to disappear they never get it. But the fax number has been read back to them and is correct. So if it is correct how does a fax get lost? This company is screwed over company. I think they pick and choose what they want to pay for and come up with b.s when they don't want to pay no more. I wouldn't recommend this company and I think they need to be investigated. If they can't find their fax machine or all my primary doctor referrals I'm talking with lawyers today and will sue them for this bill to be paid. And I will keep doing so for pain and suffering if I have to miss infusions and appointments that are important for me to keep out of pain. Don't I repeat don't choose this company . They are liars and they have no morals. Their customer service ppl are just robots helping Humana screw ppl over.

      So far, horrible. I've been attempting to sort out a billing issue for weeks. I've been put on hold multiple times for more than 30 minutes and then disconnected. I've been told twice after an hour of holds and transfers that the appropriate agent would call me back with an answer - and never received either call. Today - another 30 minute hold and disconnected again. I called back and an extremely nice person (finally) named Jennifer stayed on the line until a supervisor was able to pick up. Total time another 90 minutes. All calls together, approximately four to five hours to resolve what should have been a simple conversation of 10 to 15 minutes. It was such a pathetic experience that in the end, I may call to cancel the insurance.

      Giving 1 star because i can't give a 0. Have had difficulty dealing with humana medicare advantage plan customer service. Always must transfer you to another dept. Usually other dept will not speak to you. Hard to get a supervisor. When you do, they are apologetic, but can't help. Usually an hour or more to get no help. When I signed up had monthly allowance card, but they Canceled that next year. When I signed up had approx 2900 max out of pocket. They have raised to 9350 for next year. I will be going elsewhere. May have to keep changing every other year , but what can you do.

      DO NOT go with Humana for Medicare. They are owned by Etna who also use CoHere. Using a 3rd party DOES NOT absolve Humana of responsibility. ~~John

      They ended my coverage when I moved from Tn to Nc recently I have no coverage until 10/15/24 when I can enroll in real medicare

      Worst insurance coverage company ever! Use someone else! Paid premiums, still had outrageous co pays, deductible and drug costs. Got a HB card that had months of an allowance unused that they cancelled as soon as I got new insurance

      I am in my 3rd year with Humana. I love my plan, they always take care of me, low cost and great Healthcare providers. Hope it stays good. Thank you Humana
