1 starI had my Jeep towed there because it stopped and the battery and ABS light came on while I was in Baton Rouge. I do not live in Baton Rouge. I service rep, Haylee, said pretended to be so hopeful. I was charged $1200 for a new alternator and battery cable. Two minutes after paying and driving in the lot, the battery light came back on. Now they say it’s the power train module. My Jeep has been there since mid September and now Haylee won’t return calls or messages. The last time I called, she refused to get on the phone and told the receptionist to tell me they’re still waiting on a part. When I had more questions she wouldn’t get on the phone. I only saw this lady once and it wasn’t a bad meeting so I don’t know why her attitude changed. The customer service is horrible and I still don’t have my car.Review fromDana H

1 starAbsolutely disappointing. I have been there three times and each time it has been a letdown. I have had three separate appointments that nothing has been done. They claim that there is no racks available and I can understand that however, the last time that I went there. I was set up with an appointment for today Monday, July 17, I was told to be there at 8 AM. There was going to be a rack available. I needed a diagnostic done for I had made sure that my warranties was going to be covered for every single service that could be needed and it was however, my last service I was told that my spark plugs were checked they weren’t and that was by the service manager so today I get there for my 8 o’clock appointment. There’s no rack !! Surprise!! my appointment was not even wrote down , the guy the manager I guess who wrote my appointment down and made sure my appointment was locked in as he claimed apparently quit on Thursday so I don’t understand that so as I have to get to work , and I’m told that I would be shuttled back-and-forth for this is my only car, and therefore 30 minutes past my time nothing is done and I have no diagnostic on my vehicle. For the third time it’s unacceptable I don’t know what the hell is going on in that shop or in that dealership but I would love to return my vehicle but I cannot for it’s 90 days past. Truly, that is all that I needed is a diagnostic Mopar will take care of the rest. They will escalate the situation. I made it very clear since they don’t want to clearly take care of the items they sell!!! I would love for **** ****** to personally call me. But we ALL KNOW THAT DOESNT HAPPEN!! and for the young lady who makes excuses for I was just gonna help you !!! I stood in front of you for 15 minutes and he chose to walk away and when you spoke your rude!! and then decided to help me and send somebody else to if you don’t care to do your job correctly maybe you should find another!Review fromKurt W

1 starI bought my truck in February 2022. In March of 2022 I brought the truck to Matt Bowers Service department for a problem with the driver seat and radio. Both items were “ordered” in March of 2022. The seat cover finally came in the first part of may 2023. I made an appointment when they called and said the seat cover was in. The first available appointment was June 27, 2023. I made the appointment and waited the two months. My truck has been at Matt Bowers now for a week and nothing has been done because the only guy at Matt Bowers that can install the seat cover is on vacation until July 5, 2023. Those dummies scheduled my appointment to have the seat cover installed while the only guy that can install the seat cover is on vacation. The truck also has a vibration problem that Matt Bowers says is normal. I’ve had ram trucks since 1997 and this vibration is not normal. The radio is still on order. Spent $75,000.00 on a truck and can’t get the warranty work done. This has been unbelievable. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM MATT BOWERS. CROOKS.Review fromGerard M

1 starI went in person to the service department at the end of March and told them I needed warranty work done on my truck. I was told that their back log was 2 1/2 months out and they would not even look at my truck until then. I went ahead and made an appointment for the work. That appointment was June 20th. The problem was an oil leak and I had to placed a pan under the truck when I parked. I showed up promptly 2 1/2 months later for my appointment and was told that they had no record of me or my appointment and I could make another appointment. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that they would work me in, that is to look at my truck, not to do the work mine you, just to diagnose but that would take at least 2 hours and then they could schedule the work for perhaps in 2 or 3 weeks out. I tried to make point with the manager that they were the ones who lost my appointment and that I should be put to the front of the line all to no effect. I left there drove to All Star Dodge in Denham Springs and made an appointment to have the work done in less than a week. This is what you can expect if you buy a car at this dealership. By the way when I tried to go the managers office to tell him I wanted my truck back I was treated like an intruder, one of the service guys yelled I at me and threatened me.Review fromPatrick P

The issue is the customers extended warranty company does not want to pay the total cost of the replacement engine because the customer stated to warranty company that he had been having this trouble for some time. They only want to pay for camshaft and lifters because that was the original failure. Customer told warranty company that he neglected to bring vehicle to be serviced when he originally had problem so they denied to pay for entire repair because of neglect. We have discounted pricing on engine and labor to try and help customer.Review fromGary F

1 starI contacted this dealership to ask if they would like to purchase a vehicle that we no longer intended to drive. Upon arriving, I was greeted promptly by the sales manager and he appraised the vehicle and made an offer. The offer was the same amount I was offered at Car Max, so, instead of traveling further I reluctantly accepted the offer. While speaking with the sales manager, an employee named ***** walked up not knowing I was the person that was selling the car and told the sales manager excitingly and right in front of me that he could "Steal the Car from Me for XXXX dollars." After a debate of Ego's between ***** and the sales manager, I was advised that they wanted to short me $1,200.00 on the sale. Keep in mind that this was $1,200.00 less than what I could get right down the street. Its irreprehensible that after they agreed to purchase at a different price and when the paperwork was nearly complete, they attempted to change the offer. Of course, I didn't accept this and was angered by this bait and switch and let's rip the customer off scenario created by *****. This company wasted at least 4 hours of my wife's and my time. ***** was rude and condescending and very disrespectful to us and the process. As he spoke harshly to me in a derogatory manner with no respect of my time or the commitments his company had previously made it became clear that his hatred and bigotry was mostly due to the color of my skin. As a black person I found it very disrespectful for ***** to say that the sales manager who is black is clueless and doesn't know how to do his job. I resent the notion that the sales manager is incompetent, and I reject your racial bias toward minorities. *****, your abhorrent behavior is unacceptable, and I'm disgusted by your attitude and comments. You are very unprofessional and made a myriad of mistakes during my visit including making insensitive comments. I wasted a lot of time at your dealership and I can't recommend this business to others.Review fromJose S

1 starI brought my vehicle in on 11/25/21 it was having a cylinder 3 misfiring they said it was fuel contamination they were wrong . . There was a ticking sound coming from the engine so they needed to take the left cylinder head off and that's when they noticed the rear lifter for cylinder 3 was missing the roller so it had worn down the cam and that was the problem they removed both cylinder heads replaced the camshaft and lifters reinstalled everything on this work it was covered through my max care warranty so I only paid $100 for this but when they assembled it the mechanic didn't torque down the bolts right I picked the truck up from Matt bowers dodge in Baton Rouge Louisiana on 12/10/21 and on 01/06/22 my truck broke down less than a month had gone by the temperature started fluctuating so I brought it in to Stateline dodge of South Carolina . it had a pinhole leak on a hose so it was replaced to pressure test the system and it was still losing coolant pressure oil was leaking from the right head gasket, the smoke from the exhaust was white so combustion gas was getting into the cooling system the technician removed the heads and none of the bolts were torqued down right at this point my heads were warped and needed to be machined or replaced and also a valve job , the fan shroud was broken, oil dipstick was not bolted down and wore out a mark on my steering shaft so basically the work done at Matt bowers dodge was not done right and I messaged the service technician sean Bryan on 1/6/22 the day it broke down i told him what was going on and had my Service provider jerome reach out to him and his manager Joey which jerome sent an email to which detailed what was found and estimate so far for the work done but he never got a reply i never got a phone call from anyone at Matt bowers none of the managers called me back after leaving multiple messages and texts so i had to pay $5480.44 out of pocket they didn't warranty their work
