The motel says the price online is 42$ the manager charged me 55$ cash and 20$ deposit. The receipt is mandatory to get deposit back but keeps the receipt. Even with taxes on 42$ that doesn't add up to $55 but because the manager takes the receipt back theirs not any proof. Someone came in my room while I was asleep and stole my phone. When I asked for the owners phone number I was run off the property. I am a survivor of domestic abuse and was only there because the domestic violence shelter had no beds. So imagine how traumatic it was being in a city where I don't know anybody having my phone stolen from me while I'm asleep and then being run off by the manager for standing up for my rights and he told the guest that I asked for a ride to a pawn shop so I can buy a bus ticket because I had to replace my cell phone with the only money I had on me that if they gave me a ride they were going to be kicked out of the motel. The manager is clearly skimming funds treats the guests like trash I'm a human being and I demand to be treated as such I was I'm paying guests and everything that have as a description for the motel for instance a phone in the room doesn't exist there's only one channel on the TV they said they're supposed to be 65 channels the pool they have on the website that's pretty and blue is green brown and the safety of that place is atrocious I'm not convinced that the manager didn't have something to do with my phone being stolen because he had a problem with me from the get-go not to mention I had to wait 10 minutes for anyone to even come to the front desk when I was checking in. He kept my receipts of the proof that I was a guest because that there would clearly define how much tax he charged on the room that was only supposed to be $42. Don't come if you're expecting to be protected by the staff because they do not protect you they prey and scream at you treating you like an animal. They need to empty the trash cans and the dumpster it's gross

This has to be the worst hotel in the City. First I booked the room when I get to the building it took the employee 20 mins to get service second he was really rude he asked for a 20 dollar cash deposit which was fine if I was getting it back but the employee didn’t give me a receipt. I go check out then ask for my 20 back he wouldn’t give it to me because I didn’t have a receipt. Which he didn’t give me. I asked for a manager and he said they didn’t have one I asked for corporate number and they didn’t have one he was rude enough to not say anything to me after our conversation and he went and sat down and ignored me standing there if anything this guy needs to be fired he has no place in the customer service at all do not book this place. Because they will steal your money like they stole mines
