Just signed contract to have Rhino Shield Mid South do the complete exterior of our home!! **** was GREATTTTTTTT!!!!!! From his introduction of himself to the signing of the contract, **** took us through each step. **** is very knowledgeable on directing you to different websites to help us make up our mind on the colors. Very excited to see the finish product. Do not hesitate to give **** a call for your painting needs at Rhino Shield Mid South!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we had our stucco painted by RhinoShield Mid south earlier in the May. They filled in our hairline cracks so wide they are now very visible. I'm Very very disappointed they have NOT called me back to schedule a way to minimize this! I DO NOT RECOMMEND them painting your Stucco especially if they are filling in hairline cracks! They did NOT inform me this could happen because if they had I would NOT have used them. Go elsewhere!!! THEY DO NOT RETURN CALLS at ALL. ****** PS if this had not happened we would have been very happy with how it turned out!Rhino Shield Mid South LLC Response

First off thank you for your business.Secondly when the representative was there he explained to you & ALL customers that the only way to hide hairline cracks was to demo the stucco & install ne stucco. Then apply the Rhino product. Our product especially on stucco prevents future moisture infiltration. This is why we have a special caulk to fill in hairline cracks if the owner does not want us to demo & install new stucco.Two sides to every story. We did return the call, customer did not like out response. Therefore, we felt it was best to communicate via email so I could have everything in writing.The emails consisted of giving her an estimate to demo the current stucco. Obviously the owner did not want the added expense & said the salesman said something different.We go off of a legal binding contract .The owner signed agreeing to proceed with filling in the cracks only .Also the contracts reads " There are no promises, agreements,nor understandings not expressed in this proposal, & this writing constitutes the entire agreement".Therefore if the owner would like us to demo her stucco & install new stucco we can do that for the estimate we emailed many times.Review from Lisa M

After numerous problems with the extremely poor workmanship related to repair of rotten wood (apparently they think slapping on a ton of wood filler constitutes a repair when board needs replacement), and that caulking in the rain is acceptable plus missing painting an area ( that didnt show up till mildew appeared in places that were clearly not done, I was told they would take care of it. This was fall 2023. Was told it would be at least 2 weeks. No one contacted me after that. When I left a bad review on their website recently including pictures, they responded that they would contact me on Monday. That was about 3 weeks ago and I realize now their response was only to make it look (for the website) like they were going to do something with no intention of actually doing anything. I see none of the complaints others have submitted to the BBB have been resolved so I hope others will read this and realize this is not a company you would want to do business with!Rhino Shield Mid South LLC Response

We absolutely love the work RhinoShield MidSouth did at our home. It was a small job but they treated us like it was a million dollar sale. ************************* our salesman was super personable and explained everything. Mid South Rhino Shield worked on my house replacing some fascia and soffit boards. The original quote was $6600.00 but settled at $4200.00. It was approximately 16 sq.ft. soffit and 16ft. of fascia. the fascia boards were replaced with Regular wood and not with routed slotted standard boards. These should be replaced as standard fascia boards are required, slotted to hold up the edge of the soffit. Interior wood was used (1x6) and the incorrect size interior plywood was used as soffits .The first install of soffit was 1/4" interior grade, wrong size and would have warped with weather. The second was 11/32 still the wrong size and interior plywood again but let it ride at the time even though the repairs do not match the original soffits. The correct size to match what was already installed is exterior 3/8. I was on site the entire time of the install, after the job was done I was sent an added bill of $989.00 for added work although no extra work was done and their claim was false as I have every piece of lumber bought for this job and there were no 2x4's used as backing behind any of the 1x6's used as fascia and none were purchased. They canceled the extra charge after I consulted my attorney. Just hire a painter next time .Rhino Shield Mid South LLC Response

I used rhino shield mid-south to paint my home. The first crew they sent out apparently had never had any experience in painting! We were told they would cover plants, mask areas that were not to get painted, windows, screens & trim! They didnt do a good job at any of that we still have paint on screens & **************** & trim. After several attempts at trying correct the issues the crew was removed from the job they send a different crew who spilled paint, used my ladder and botch the paint on an upper dormer it looked like c*** After retaining a lawyer it took over 6 months for this job to be finished, we were not satisfied with the work but we wanted to have our home back so we could install outside lights, door ****** ************ I would NEVER recommend this company to be trusted or used ever!Rhino Shield Mid South LLC Response

Customer signed a contract w/Rhinoshield 5/20/23.Customer finally picked the colors 7/20/23. We have photos of the home masked & covered.Yes we did spill 4 small drops of paint on the driveway. We pressure washed the entire driveway to make him happy. & the spill washed away . As far as the comment about we using a ladder is incorrect. Our painters had the identical ladder as the owner, except ours was full of paint stains from other homes .We showed Mr the photos of that as well.This is a stucco home Sales rep made it clear how we would prep the stucco.( examples are on our website ) Owner assumed we would redo all his stucco. That is something we do not do ,nor tell the owner we can redo stucco.We prepped the home according to manufactures guidelines.after which customer approved the prep.Signed our certificate & made a payment. We then proceeded to prime & paint the home.Because all stucco is different we wanted to wait until the product cured.After a short time we all realized that the home needed to be re-primed & painted with rhinoshield.Now the home is the cathederal of the neighborhood.It looks amazing.Customer approved the final walk around signed completion certificate & made final payment.Review from Rebecca B

*************************** came to my home to provide us a quotation for Rhino Sheild. He was very professional and did not try the "pushy salesperson" tactics and really took his time to explain the whole process and tried to work with our budget. Although, the prices were slightly outside of our budget for this coating system and we ended up going in a different direction, I would Definity recommend **** as a salesperson.Rhino Shield Mid South LLC Response

I have been very pleased with my service so far. **** was very knowledgeable and professional and explained the product and procedure to me. The work crew was also very professional and courteous and helpful. They went beyond to help. I also had an area that was scratched by the removal of a big tree in my yard.
