I purchased a vehicle from the car lot and within a week the car's motor over heated and required maintance. I notificaed the dealership and was offered to come trade the truck in for another truck with an additional fee of $260 which after i paid them $2400 for the broken 2008 tahoe. I accepted the offer to trade it in for a 2008 ford explore which was being valued by the dealership at $7400. after about a week the explore's oil pressure sensor being to have issues and it caused the motor to kill and stall every 5 miles. I took the truck to a mechaic here in Baton Rouge and was informed of the many issues that was wrong with the truck beside the broken oil pressure sensor. In total the shop said it would over $5,000 in repairs, which would have brought my total to $7600, the same amount that was listed as the full price for the 08 explore. Upon learning this I brought the truck back to lags and only asked for at least half of the $2400 down payment they received from me even though I only had the truck for 1 week and it was undriveable. The gentlemen that own the car lot informed me that I wouldn't be getting of my down payment back because all sales are final, even though Louisiana has a lemon law in place. I'm asking for assistance with obtaining at least half of the deposit back since I was only able to drive the truck for a week.

They sold me a vehicle knowing it had problems with it and now it is going to cost $11,100.00 to replace the motor and the company will not do anything, but they still want me to pay the car note of $315.00 a month.
