    On or about 1/3/25 I received an email stating my business insurance expires on 1/2/25. I immediately called Simply Business to on 1/3/2025 to get it rectified. A lady I believe named **** gave me a hard way to go and there were some confusion in hearing or understanding each other. I asked to speak with a supervisor and after a long time of calling back and being hung up on I was directed to **** ******. All my information was taken and **** stated that I can not be provided insurance with the business. I was unsure how could that be if I just had insurance with them. I have been calling back to get an answer as to why Im denied insurance which ultimately affects my company due to not having any because of this issue. On or about 1/16/2025 which was the latest call, *** ********* stated I should have received a response within 24hours based on their policy however communication on contacting me has never happened nor was I explained why I cant apply for coverage there anymore. I have been contacting this company for the past three weeks and been receiving unprofessional treatment. I have been lied to and this is causing my business to lose and mental anguish. I just want insurance for my **************** and as to why I am being treated this way along with no communication from the company. I want this issue rectified and all parties to be held accountable. Thanking you in advance for your time and assistance.

    We have responded to the complainant directly on 1/24/25 to let him know none of our carriers could cover his operations as he described them. He also declined our offer to refer him to an outside partner not affiliated with Simply Business who may be able to assist him.

    It was the biggest mistake I quoted and paid online for my insurance. After that I couldn't reach this company and they refused to cancel a policy via email but phone call. When I call to their numbers no one respond for hours. This is a type of schemes to make people tired waiting on a line. Policies on *******************

    The company will not allow cancellation or change in renewal of policy. I decided not to renew the policy for 01/01/2025. Five weeks before renewal, I tried to edit my account online but there was no way to access my credit card information. I called immediately and the associate said they would manually edit my credit card so it would not renew. IT RENEWED 4 weeks prior to 01/01/2025! I immediately called to obtain a refund. Apparently no one had canceled the policy per my previous call. I have had dozens of emails and countless hours on hold with this company in order to contact them regarding the desired cancellation. The renewal premium was taken out of my credit card without my approval. I have attempted to email and call requesting the refund status. No one is able to tell when it will be issued if ever! I have not received a written response that the refund is processing.

    The company will not allow cancellation or change in renewal of policy unless done so over the phone. I have had dozens of emails, service chats and countless hours on hold with this company in order to contact them regarding the desired cancellation. I started reaching out two months in advance of my auto renewal in order to not renew and the company proceeded to renew the policy. I do not give my consent as I am unable to cancel through any of the channels they require due to their lack of answering.

    On August 15, 2024, I emailed ********************************** to cancel my policy effective 08/15/2024 (as their website states in the ************* They told me that I needed to call. The system allows you to wait or have an agent call back. I tried to call in to different phone numbers and have an agent call back, but never received anything. I also waited on the phone for 35 minutes and then the system came back on apologizing for not being able to take my call, but hung up. There is no effective way for me to cancel my policy. I need to cancel my policy effective immediately.

    I have a business insurance policy with Simply Business, which I called to make sure would renew without a hitch in early July. My policy was set to renew on August 1, and I was told that it would renew, they would update myself and the state of ********** with my renewal information, no further action was required on my part. Then on August 8th, I find out my contractors registration has been suspended, this is due to Simply Business not having submitted my renewal information to the state. I go online and have them send a copy to L&I, who I call the next day to re-instate my license. Turns out, because they failed to do as they said they would, I not only have to pay a fee to reinstate, I have to get a new bond that is for 3x the amount of my current bond. All due to Simply Business failing to do as I was told they would. When I called them to see what steps we can take to resolve the issue, the customer service agent was not just rude and tried to tell me I asked them NOT to send it to the state when I called, but when I asked to speak with a manager, he hung up on me. So now I am going to have to spend close to a thousand dollars to fix their mistake, there is irreparable harm done to my business because my license shows having been suspended before and I cant even get somebody from their company to talk to me about the issue.

    Paid for a workmans compensation policy in full on the approximate date of July 10 or 11 of 2024. Today is Aug 8th and this company has failed to update my license with the state of Ca, therefore my license is and has been showing suspended due to NO workmans compensation policy on file. I attempted to resolve this issue over the past week or so with NO resolution and the run around from Simply.
