    I have called at least six (6) customer service agents at ********************************************* of MA to get my account corrected. I upgraded my dental plan which was to begin on 01/01/2025. However, ** (Delta Dental) did not upgrade my plan and continued to bill me for the old plan, which should have terminated on 12/31/2024. I also contacted my insurance broker to try to get this resolved as he has higher level contacts at **. Unfortunately some of the issues have still not been resolved. Only one (1) customer service agent was actually decent. Her name is ******. She was great. She did her job and contacted finance and a manager to get this resolved. She did her job. But unfortunately my account is still incorrect. So some of the others at ** appear to not have done their jobs. My account still does not provide an invoice for the new plan. It only has the cancelled invoice for the old plan. The website for login does not work properly. I have tried the ** app as well, and I have been unable to log into it on multiple attempts. This insurance company needs to do a much better job. I am very unhappy with the majority of their customer service people. Their management is not doing their jobs. They are ignoring the major issues with poor customer service, website issues, and perhaps overworked employees.

    They have submitted 3 tickets over a period of several months and still unable to unlock my online account so I can change credit card automated payment due to card expiring. Then have to mail in checks - one of which is now lost and got warning notice that I have not paid. No one has solved the problem. Its a nightmare!!

    Orthodontia Patients Beware!!!I have paid for Delta Dental Insurance as the only option through my employer for 6 years. Had a need for ortho coverage in 2023 only. Paid for the service in full through my dentist and the claim was submitted properly for 50% coverage to Delta Dental, which was approved for reimbursement. The plan outlines reimbursement is equally spread over the next 12 months after submitting the claim (no explanation as to why). What they, OR THE PLAN, don't tell you is if those 12 payments go into the following calendar year, you HAVE to continue to pay for coverage, even though you may not need it, to get those reimbursements. Nothing is based on the calendar year of coverage or date of service, as with any typical healthcare insurance claim, or any insurance claim for that matter. If you try to appeal, the process is not easy. They refuse to speak to you by phone, and everything is done through a *************** that rarely works correctly. If you do get to talk to a claim **** they are EXTREMELY RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. I filed 2 appeals and a DOI complaint, along with escalated complaints to my employer. Next stop, small claims court. This is bad faith and unfair claims practice at its best... I should know, I've been an insurance claims specialist for 30+ years. **Would've given 0 stars but BBB forces at least 1 star to post a review.**

    Can't log into portal for members even using customer service rep. **** sent an email with a link and I was able to access the portal using it. The address was different than links on the website. Contacted Massachusetts Attorney General to notify of difficulty. weeks have gone by with no improvement.

    Horrendous customer service,. No one picks up when calling. They don't call back. Their automated pay system doesn't work and they say they need to terminate my account because of lack of payment even though they have an active credit card in my account. Their system sometimes works but not reliably. They have now canceled my sevice with no explanation and I can't sign in to my account as it is terminated. It was active on June 1, 2024 but not now on Aug 14, 2024.Worst company to deal with, horrible web site and poor customer service. They should not be allowed to be in business any longer.I will be reporting to the apprpriate authorities.

    Just spent 1 hour waiting for representative and then when I explained that they did not pay me correctly for my dental procedure the representative hung up on me. I will be contacting a lawyer. This is the 7th time I was hung up on. Very, very poor customer service. Obviously they are disconnecting the calls instead of helping their patients.

    I used all my dental insurance money from my emploer for root canal. I called Delta Dental on Feb 16, 2024 and the lady told me I could puchase another plan myself to pay Crowns. I did. However, my dentist office to me 2 weeks later when I had my crown done that the plan i purchased has 12 month waiting peroid that I wasn't told. I called delta back in March to cancel the plan and was told the refund check would be mailed to me in one month. I never received. I called delta again on June 10, 2024 and was told the money will be refunded to my credit card. I never seen my money back anywhere. Why did the representative told me the whole story in the first place? Why does it take so long to refund custtomer's money? Just want to let everyone know my story.

    I had a claim denied because mt appointment was 1 day to early to qualify for reimbursement. What a total disgrace. I have paid for this insurance for 8 years and denying my claim for 1 day is insulting. People have lives and work responsibilities, one day should not be an issue. Shame on you for this absurd policy. ONE DAY!

    Called four times been issued a check four times supposedly, nine months later another hoop to jump through. Four different reps even ******* from the office of the president *** What a joke company *****. Making interest too. I gave up they win
