Appointment was at/or before 7am it's almost 3pm. They haven't sent the prescription I spoke to manger ******* not much help. This is my first and last time using this company. Another guy stated it could take up to 12 hours how and why this wasn't explained the first call or even with doctor. I have the flu and this is helping me. Not one person can contact the pharmacy team WHY. I will never use this company only reason I did I thought since united healthcare listed them they would ok wrong.Review from Laura S

My insurance company referred me to Amwell for a virtual visit. My co-pay for such is zero dollars. Amwell website showed my co-pay as $79. I called Amwell their representative told me my co-pay was $279. Even while I had my insurance representative on the conference call with us who verified my co-pay with zero dollars and well insisted I should pay the $279 and then try to seek reimbursement.I asked for a supervisor and the representative refused several times. When I pressed they put one on the line who could care less . My insurance representative was online and again advised it was a zero dollar co-pay but Amwell said they had to contact billing. When I asked if billing can speak to me directly, they said billing does not have a phone. Horrible service,horrible company I was not able to make a virtual visit.Review from Andrea Z

My husband and I both tested positive for COVID and had separate virtual doctor ************* He was prescribed an antiviral; however, the prescription never made it to the pharmacy and we spent two hours on hold before giving up and scheduling & paying for a new doctor ************ I was declined a prescription due to my age and normal weight, and the doctor argued with me when I tried to explain my need for an antiviral due to my past medical history. My own history was not taken into account, only their set criteria. This place is a joke.Review from Kelly M

This company is an absolute scam. They charge you the full amount for the service without checking copays with the insurance. I asked the employee what happens if I dont realize I was overcharged, would I get a refund eventually? She said no. Sounds like they are trying to take advantage of people and are hoping people dont realize they were overcharged.Review from Karen M

My health insurance offered a $10 a month rider that gave us free Amwell Telehealth visits. However, their billing system does not allow you to actually USE your benefit. You have to call Amwell who will act extremely confused and provide you a Case number. That number means nothing. You will fight for months to get reimbursed on your telehealth visit that they force you to pay for upfront. I think this company is a scam to hold on to your money for months in hopes of you giving up and not pressing for reimbursement.Review from K. W

I have emailed them 3 times to have my account and credit card information removed, they have not answered. The 2022 email exchanges to AmWell support are, February 3rd, 7th, and 9th. In my last email to their support team, I requested that my data is erased per the Right to Erasure/to be Forgotten, i.e., "Also known as the right to erasure, the **** gives individuals the right to ask organizations to delete their personal data." Amwell has never responded to my data deletion request nor confirmed what "invalidate" means when referencing my credit card information.
