I entered into a contract with a vendor for my equipment. I was approved to spend $9,000. Time Payment is now telling me I owe them $22,000 or more. My monthly payment is $650 a month and they say Im 3 months behind totaling $3,700.00. They have stated Im over 90 days past due but then I get an email that says Im 84 days past due. I told them they could have the equipment back and Id just buy it out right because its over double the product amount. When asked how much they were charging in interest they stated there is no interest. $9000 worth of product is now costing me $22,000 and they think its acceptable.Business Response

Timepayment is constantly harassing me about equipment that i turned in back in 2016. Someone picked up the machine over 7 years ago when my parents business closed down. Now They are calling telling me that they are suing me for the cost of the equipment. The equipment was returned in the beginning of 2016 when the salon closed. I no longer have any equipment from this company in my possession.Business Response

I recently have filed a report with the better Business Bureau concerning the cancellation of a credit card processing company with Riverside payments, while doing so I found out that Riverside payments dont own their own equipment so they use a secondary company, Cascade equipment leasing company. ********* has responded with a reasonable payoff to get out of their contract but Cascade wants over $3000 to get out of their contract which I didnt even realize I had signed up on because I thought Riverside was the one who excepted all the payments and it was all their equipment, I would like to have someone from Cascade to contact me at ************ or *********, which is the company that I originally took out the agreement with to come up with a reasonable payoff. ******Business Response

I called Time Payment Corp to discuss why my payment kept changing. During the discussion, I asked what the payoff of the machine was that I was leasing, to avoid having further issues with the payment changing. I was given a payoff of $8600. The machine that I leased was $3700. When I asked why the payoff would be almost three times the amount of the original price, they told me that because I was leasing the machine, I would have to pay that cost, as I agreed to a four year lease. I told them that I was never told that I would be paying more for the machine than was originally agreed and they told me they felt bad that no one shared the terms, but that two months before the end of the lease term, they would call me to ask if I wanted to end my lease and send the machine back or pay the fair market value for the machine! I said..wait! I will end up paying $8600 for this machine and then will have to pay the *** if I want to keep it? The agent told me that was correct. I asked what would happen if I just went ahead and sent them the machine now..and bought it outright on my own. They told me that I can send it back, but would be obligated to have to pay out the lease and the *** of the machine. I looked through the contract given to me by then, and no where is this stalled and other than the monthly payment obligation, there is no amount written in the contract that I would be paying out an $8600 lease. I was also told that I would be leasing this under my LLc business to build my business credit and after looking into this, I have no credit score for my business.Customer Answer

April 9, 2024, I signed a contract ************* to lease a Clover Mini CC processing machine from a company called *********. for my business, The Shady Lawn Motel. It was a month to month contract for ***** per month. The company sent me the wrong equipment and I refused to verify or use the equipment until the right equipment was sent. On April 30, 2024 Time Payment started withdrawing monthly payments of $137.15 from my checking account. On May 3, 2024 ************* CD started withdrawing monthly payments of $62.50. I contacted Swift numerous times and eventually disputed charges with my bank. I have had numerous letters and emails from Time Payment insisting on payments. Time Payment sent me a totally manufactured contract with false information regarding me and my business. I informed the ** *** it was a false contract . It was not my signature, EIN, cell phone #, date, verification confirmation, lease term or company I delt with. I sent ** a copy of the contract I signed. They ignored it and continue to harass me and threaten to ruin my credit.Business Response

Please be advised TimePayment received a signed non-cancellable lease agreement for 48 months at $130.00/month on behalf of The ****************. A copy of customer's W-9, WI seller's permit and driver's license were included in order to support the approval of this transaction. Payments were drafted from a valid bank account provided on the lease agreement, which was verified by phone. However, in light of Ms. ******* negative experience, TimePayment will email paperwork for her to complete in order to more fully investigate this situation.Customer Answer

I have sent a copy of the false information TimeCorp used to create a fraudulent document to withdraw money from my account. They used a false EIN, false cell number, false date, lease term and that is not my signature. You have a copy of this false contract. I sent it with my initial complaint.

I had not seen this contract until TimePayment sent me a copy After I was disputing the charges they were taking out of my bank account. ********************** can easily verify that is not my EIN, not my cell number they claim to have called to verify and activate an account, That is not my signature and not the date I signed any document. This would have been done through DocuSign. NO such document exists in my account.

I went into a Lease on 6|6|2024 with Timepayment on a commercial Equipment in the amount of...it doesn't say on the contract. On the 06/06/2024 a total of $720.30 was taken out of my checking account. I had not received the merchandise. I had to wait until the 27th of June to get it. On 7|10|2024. Timepayment tried to go back into my account and take another payment out. My thought was the amount of $720.30 was the amount for the first payment once the printer was in my possession. This company is charging fees and monthly payments even if the customer doesn't have their items. This is misleading and fraud.Business Response
