I contacted Northeast Appliance to fix my 3 year old dishwasher on Dec 13, 2022. ******, the repairman was there for 11 mins & only turned the dishwasher on. No opening it to assess the issue. He said we needed a control panel, ordered it & charged me $129. 2 weeks later when he came to install it, the issue wasnt fixed & he said it was a faulty control panel. He ordered another one. I had to make several calls to schedule a follow up. Weeks later a new repairman came & installed another control panel & the issue didnt resolve. He said it was also a faulty new part. I asked him if he was sure it was the control ********** said I dont know what else it could be So he said he would order a third control ************ would call to schedule an appt. I called for weeks with no response until I finally got ahold of ***** around the first week of February. She said they needed to call Whirlpool/Maytag because they didnt know what the issue was & they werent going to order a third control panel. I called he back a few times for more info & no response. Finally she left me a voicemail feb 13, saying they had more information from Whirlpool/Maytag & that was the last contact. I have called almost 10 times since then & left at least 4-6 voicemails asking for any update. No response. Other repair shops will not service my dishwasher because they dont know what Northeast did & dont want to be held liable. I called NE one last time to ask them to return my initial fee bc I paid in good faith that they would do an assessment AND fix the problem. Neither has been competed & I cant get my dishwasher fixed. Ive never experienced a business just flake so much & not even respond, much less finish a job. Its beyond unprofessional & I am reporting them in hopes that no one else has to go through this as well.Business response

***** I am sorry for the service experience that you have had with Northeast. We always strive to provide exceptional service to our customers. Unfortunately **** has been out most of the last few months do to personal reasons and apparently we dropped the ball. If your dishwasher is still in need of repair we would be happy to replace the necessary part at no charge. I will have ***** call you from the office.

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and spoke with the owner via phone. He has agreed to a refund so I have determined that the refund does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #********. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.

Our range hood had been making a big sometimes sharp noise, we called the manufacture, and the manufacturer directed us to their local partner, the northeast appliance pros *** in rockland, **. Northeast appliance pros was able to fairly quickly schedule a check up on the range hood, charged an inspection fee, we were told a part need to be replaced, we were also told that, in the next morning, there will be a call to us about price quote. 10 days past, nothing happened, so we called the northeast appliance pros asking the progress and left a voice message, then a lady called us and left a voice message saying she is waiting for the price quote. Then another two weeks passed, we heard nothing. I called them again, the lady over the phone told us that, she left me a voice message a week ago whether I got it. I said yes I got your voice message but it was two weeks ago not one week ago, and we want to know the progress. The lady on the phone told us that she will follow up, and give us a call in the afternoon or next morning. Again nothing happened in that afternoon nor the next day. So I called them again, the lady on the phone told us that she is still waiting for the price quote, i asked how this process works and how the price quote process can be expedited, the lady became impatient and unpleasant. I asked when can we hear back from her, she said before end of the week. However, this is Thursday evening and we lost faith in this place.We hope our range hood can be fixed in a reasonable time frame, and hope for a reliable and reasonable communication flow from northeast appliance pros *** in rockland, **.Thanks,NanBusiness response

It has been extremely difficult to get a hold of the manufacturer. After a very long time on hold today we were able to get through to Broan. We have talked with ************* and resolved the issue. The parts are on order. We are expecting the parts to arrive in about one week. We will then call to schedule a return visit to install the parts.
