    Monster.com is fraudulent. I believe that they must have shared my personal information with scammers. I received about 10 scammed calls the next day and still getting scam calls and phishing emails. I thought that after all these years they have changed but they are worst. Whatever you do in this lifetime, do not apply for any job through monster.com. Monster should not be functioning as a business. They deserve less that a star.

    Dishonest with people about tactics for selling personal information. I applied to ONE JOB via website and 4 months later I am still getting at least 7 to 8 calls and 3 texts a day from recruiting agencies when I opted to not have my contact information available, only to realize u have to manually opt out of allowing ur company to sell applicants information ** it automatically defaults to giving permission and the setting to turn it off was found in the deepest darkest hole of my account. Shameful. I have literally been nonstop harassed since applying to a job through that site

    We have reviewed our systems/database and we have no personal information associated with the email address provided.

    In response to the review, the following is a description of the process site users follow to set up a Monster account. Upon signing up for a Monster account, site users are:

    1) informed that by continuing with account creation, they are agreeing to Monsters privacy policy and terms of use. Links to each are provided;

    (a) additionally, site users are informed that they can manage their communication preferences in their account, and

    (b) the Monster ************** and Notice provides clear information about communication preferences, opt-out options, privacy rights, and visibility settings;

    2) asked to select a visibility preference, which is required before the account can be created and clearly explains what each option means to the site user.

    If a site user wishes to apply for a job, they must first create an account and complete the above process.

    The ************** and Your Privacy Choices links are prominently displayed in the footer of the Monster site.

    If a resume was made visible or used in connection with an application when a user had a ******************** account, recruiters and employers with access to our database may have downloaded the resume or profile information.However, recruiters and employers accessing our database after the account was deleted will not find information related to the site user in ******************** systems.

    I listed my resume on Monster and was immediately inundated with calls from unintelligible ****** recruiters. The offers were for positions only scantily related to my work experience, often having taken a single keyword from my resume and compared it to a job description. Many of the positions I was called/emailed/texted about didn't relate at ALL to my experience. I listed my resume on several other employment search websites and had no similar issues. I tested this by creating a ****** voice number and only listing it on monster after removing my actual phone number from the same site. All of the nuisance calls now came through the ****** voice number. I first marked my monster profile as inactive or not looking, and then I made my information private. I then deleted my account with **********************. Over a year later, I am still receiving calls from NEW recruiters for positions I have repeatedly denied any interest in. I recommend never putting your information on Monster and using other tools or websites in your job searches.

    Monster has reviewed its database and can confirm that the referenced account has been deleted from our system.  Unfortunately, it is likely that recruiters saved the contact information from the resume before the account was made private and eventually deleted. We are sorry for the inconvenience that you have experienced.

    Awful customer service. Reached out for help for nearly a month w/ our account and got no responses. Ignoring emails and calls from good paying customers is just dirty.

    We have reviewed the account to determine if Monster has not responded in a timely manner to the customers calls or emails. Unfortunately, the customers sales rep left Monster in mid-June 2022, and we believe that some of the customers messages may have ended up on unattended phone and email accounts. We know that our business relationship with this customer was positive up to that point as an email that was sent to the sales rep on 6/15/2022 stated that the rep had been great and that the customer appreciated his support. ******************** apologizes for any delay in responding to the customer due to the sales rep leaving our company. When the customer directed an email to ******************** **************** on 7/14/2022, the email was immediately forwarded to the ex-sales reps ******* who responded to the customer one day later. ******************** will work to ensure timely responses moving forward.

    Posted my resume on here and started getting scam job offers as well as people "returning" calls suppusedly from my number saying someone had left them messages about fraudulent purchases on their accounts. So not only did no legitimate job leads come from here. Scammers are now spoofing my number to scam people with. Never had that problem before posting my resume with this website/ app.

    Monster has reviewed its system and can find no account or resume under the name or email address provided by the reviewer. Monster also reviewed customer service records and can find no instance of ever being contacted by the reviewer.

    Monster.com refuses to remove your information when you delete your account. Why do they do this? So they can lie and say they have x number of qualified candidates for sale to their customers. I deleted my personal account months ago and sent follow-*** to ensure deletionno response or answer from Monster. And their customers, who are low-quality recruiting agencies, continue to harass me about their jobs. They tell me that they are using Monster. Monster is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to resume databases. And it is exemplified through their practices.
