I'd give 0 stars if it was an option. Bought a spec home and then finished the basement and added a deck. Deck wasn't finished as promised on delivery date and since we were locked into our loan, they decided they would then offer us the larger deck we asked for before (but were denied) and told us we had to come up with another $15K at signing. The deck was then put on AS we were living there and was NOT to code; they had to redo it & left a few broken brackets & holes they won't fix, a gash in the steps the PM accused us of doing, and yelled at me/RAISED his voice at me, essentially accused me of lying when I told him what some vendors told me about Greenspring as they came in to fix THEIR mistakes. The WORST PM and response team ever. The gmail you're given to send your issues to for the walk-throughs - the ladies are RUDE/not responsive & they expect the owner to do their job of documenting & calling their vendors. I never received any official documentation for walk thrus. Told us "we are done" even though I have items on my list not completed & tricked me into signing 10 month bc the PM's son told me they'd be coming back. PM then told me he couldn't believe an intelligent person such as myself would sign if it wasn't done. I was tricked & then questioned. This is the most unprofessional company I've ever worked with. Floor squeaks & indents in carpet were not taken care of, they didn't plumb laundry room to the basement before move in day (discovered on move in day and they had to tear up my kitchen ceiling and dining room walls later), several items still not completed & they're saying "we are done". They do not care and PM LIED - garage ceiling wasn't fixed as PM LIED. Kitchen cabinets were not installed correctly & still waiting on kitchen coto fix their mistakes (20 months in). When I put tape on areas that were seveerly ignored during painting, techs patched some areas and removed my blue tape from other areas (lazy). DO NOT RECOMMEND. RUN FAR AWAY!!!!!

It's unfortunate to receive this message after the great lengths we have gone to remedy any outstanding issues. We've gone above and beyond by making numerous service visits to the home to ensure any outstanding items were addressed to our high quality standards. There was a miscommunication with one item regarding a deck bracket that is being addressed. All our homes are built per code requirements, fully inspected, and approved by the county. We take great pride in what we do, and our highest priority is for all of our customers to love their beautiful new home.

The pride certainly doesn't show when you are ignorant thru emails, have your PM raising your voice to a woman, and tell me "you're done" even though I've pointed out several items that were not completed. I definitely would never recommend Greenspring to anyone.
