      On Sept 6, 2023 I purchased a subscription to a newsletter which had a money back guarantee. I noticed on my visa statement that I was charged twice for the same subscription. I called to cancel but was only issued 1 refund. I was told that I subscribed to another newsletter without a money back guarantee. This is not true as I only purchase newsletters with the money back guarantees. The reason for this is that 60% of the time the newsletters are irrelevant to me. I'd just love to see this refunded.

      I am very sorry to hear this customer was not happy with either of their purchases. I see that they ordered both products online from the same promotional offer and that one of those did not have a money back guarantee, so our customer service team would stand by the terms that are outlined.

      After reviewing their account I have decided to make a one-time exception to this refund policy and we will be refunding the amount to the card used to purchase the product. The refund will typically be returned within 5-7 business days.

      This company is pretending to be an Investment advice company, but once you subscribe you are inundated with phishing emails and scam emails and promotional emails. Hundreds of emails all wanting you to buy another subscription to another scam company.

      One of this businesses shady practices is preying on a persons time. They get you to subscribe to a subscription that in all actuality is just advertisements for other subscriptions with promises of the information that you just paid for. Then cancelation is impossible, it leads to a phone# that leads you back to the website,then the website says there is a problem with your cancelation and leads you back to a phone number that puts you on hold for as long as your battery will last. A hold time of more than 5 minutes is unacceptable, either hire more people for your business or quit buisnessing. This buisness wasted 2 and a half hours of my life twice and I’m still not cancelled. We pay these people for their time and they steal our money as well as our time. Somone should probably start governing people who run businesses like this. Apparently the SEC has no interest in helping the people that allows it to exist and can’t be bothered to do their jobs. I would like a refund from the fist time my phone number contacted rhei office to cancel my subscription, which was over a year ago. that was first time I wasted an hour and a half of life trying to get them to stop stealing my cash. Hopefully In The future AI and the blockchain can track down ******* **** ** **** and remove the funds that allow them the ability to pray on people just trying to learn. Tik tok!

      InvestorPlace scraped my email information from a publicly available database, and has been spamming my inbox every day, 7 days a week, since April 24. I never subscribed to any of ***** *******, and clicking on the 'unsubscribe' link does not do anything. They continue to spam me with FOMO and financial fear mongering emails, even though I have clicked on 'unsubscribe' multiple times and never signed up *** ***** ****.

      took out a subscription to breakthrough stocks for $1799 and no refund and if it underperformed would get a second year free. they said I could switch to another service within 90 days and I switched to breakout trader. tried that service, didn't meet expectations and asked to switch to another service and said no as their policy is for one switch per customer, I said I realize they have to put a limit on switching service, advised this would be my last switch and wouldn't do it again. they still said no as their policy is still just one switch per customer. I said I get that but with a no refund policy, they need to be more flexible and I said no one advised me I could only switch once. said I now have a service I am stuck with a $1799 service I don't want. A person could complain to the better business bureau or contact the attorney general in my state about this. They hide behind their policies and you can never talk to anyone about this kind of thing, they are probably afraid of getting yelled at and maybe they should be. I think they need to be more flexible in switching services, I know there was no refund, but to spend $1799 and get something you don't like or can't and be stuck with it is unacceptable

      InvestorPlace Media contacted me (I don’t know how they got my Emails address) Stating that if I pay subscription fee of $29 / yr. They’ll be sending me stock symbols (including ***** ***) and other important information regarding profitable stocks. Then I paid for two Subscriptions for( $29, and $7) Totaling $36. But they didn’t send me what I paid for. Then I sent them messages.I told them that If they don’t want to send me what I paid for; that they should cancel my Subscriptions and refund me the money. Then they responded and said that my subscriptions has been successfully cancelled; and that they will refund me $7 within 5-10 business days. Then I told them that my refund is $36( not $7)This happened sometime around October 2022; but up till now; they have not sent any refund to me. Rather they continue sending messages to me. Almost every day. The messages normally contain long stories; and at the end, they’ll ask for( my credit card informations).They desperately want to get hold of my credit card informations so that they’ll go there and take any amount they want. Because some people complained that they did that to their credit card account because Investor place media ** * ****. I’ve sent several messages to them; asking them for my refund ; but they ignored me. Please I’m requesting that you help me; To get my refund ($36) from InvestorPlace media. Your cooperation will be appreciated.

      Investor Place featuring **** ***** advertised through copy and video a brand new, original trading program called Breakout Trader. It was so wonderful, they said, it cost $1799 and it would be the best. After I bought it, thinking ***** ********* would not sell a dishonest product, I discovered ***** had no track record for this service despite his hour long video, it was just another stock picker's gambling platform. I canceled it immediately and received an email from Investor Place asking why I canceled it. The email did not give a name of the writer of email. I wrote back that **** ***** had no track record for this service and asked for a refund. Instead I had to file a dispute with American Express who initially credited me $1799 but then reversed it after speaking to Investor Place. What about the FTC Buyer's Remorse 3 day rule, what about selling something that is phony with evidence of success?

      My father gifted us a "lifetime" subscription to the newsletter "The Independent Advisor for Vanguard Investors" in March 2021. We were very disappointed to read in the October 2022 newsletter that it would be the last issue. Following the instructions in the 2022 newsletter, I contacted the InvestorPlace Media , LLC office via telephone (1-800-211-8558) on 10/25/2022 to inquire about a refund. I spoke with a very polite representative ****, and we worked out that a pro-rated refund would be $158.47. When no check was forthcoming, I called again on 12/06/2022. I was told, again by ****, that it was a lengthy process and she was unsure why it was taking so long, but that she would call back with an update. Having heard or received nothing, I called again on 12/14/2022 and spoke with *****, who was also very polite. She told me she had checked with ****, who had checked with IT, and that the accounting issue had been resolved and that I should be receiving a check in the next two weeks. On 12/30/2022, having received nothing, I contacted the number again and spoke with *****, who told me the check had been processed and mailed. On 1/13/2022, having received nothing, I called again. ***** told me that **** would need to handle the matter, and that she would call me on 1/18/2023 when she returned to the office. Having heard or received nothing by 1/19/2022, I called again and spoke with ******, who apparently contacted ****, who reported that she hadn't heard anything back from the department that cuts the checks. The company representatives are all very polite, but there seems to be some unfortunate disconnect between their helpfulness and getting the refund processed. At this point, we would like a check for $158.47 via Fedex, or second day air.

      I sent an email sent to Investorplace Media on November 17 2022. This was followed up by a reminder email on December 7 2022. I have not received any acknowledgement or contact from the company. I explained that, I was surprised having received my credit card statement from Santander. There are 3 items on it from Investorplace Media: 21 October $7.00 7 November $29.00 8 November $49.00 The $49.00 relates to ***** *********'s Growth Investor which is correct. The other two items relate to InvestorPlace Select.. I attached a copy of the email I received from Louis on 5 November 2022. This deal of $1.00 per month is what I signed up to (click on the link to get more information).       My name is **** and I serve as the Team Lead of Member Services at InvestorPlace. I am reaching out to you regarding your recent BBB complaint seeking refunds for charges of $29 and $7 dollars. I have gone ahead and refunded the $29 charge which was indeed for a one year subscription to InvestorPlace Select. We did used to offer it at $1 per month when it was initially launched, but the price has since gone up we sincerely apologize that you received an old offer and were then charged unexpectedly. The $29 will be refunded to the original form of payment in the next 5-7 business days. The $7 charge was an order for our first video in our Options Master Class series. This video is instructional in nature and it teaches you how to make quick income trading options. Was this something that you intended on purchasing?

      I keep getting these spam emails from various services provided by this company. There is no clear way to unsubscribe from the plethora of spam I am getting, and each time I do unsubscribe from one there is another new newsletter created in its place. Please add a way for users to unsubscribe from ALL your newsletters.
