Prometric is failing HCA in Washington state for continous monetary reasons. I have took my skills test 2x..I have received adequate support through peer mentorship and I passed all but one simple skill that I know was accurate according to Prometrics standards because I rechecked it. This has caused a major impact in my life. I haven't worked since 4/30/24 due to the negligence of a Prometric instructor who observed me at the time. Very biased and someone needs to be held accountable

If I could give less stars I would. Opted for the remote test, because I live an hour from the test center. Unfortunately, had to retake the test because the application they used to secure your computer uses half the screen space and you can’t read or answer questions with a 10 inch screen. Whoever came up with this idea wasn’t very bright. By the grace of God, I was offered a retest at a test center. I scheduled my test a week in advance and on the Friday evening, three days before my test they canceled it and rescheduled it for a day that i’m out of the country. This is the last possible date to this exam before it changes. I’ve been waiting a year to take this exam

was scheduled for a test, but when I went to take it they refused it because of I use a Track Mouse. I have reviewed all Documents that was sent to me, including all links in them. There is No where it says you can't use it. after being on the phone for an hour they sent me a link for Accommodations. to me Accommodations for any test is Medical or Translations issues. I would have never thought of a Trackball Mouse being something I need an accommodation for. they charge $150 for the test I was to take, they aren't' returning the money which they should because it's their issue not saying in any Documation what's allowed to be used while taking the test, everything they sent me talks about clothing and food. Even the link in the email says nothing about what's not allowed hardware wise on your computer.

I paid the fee to test and they told me there were no open spots to test and kept my money. Prometric is a scam.

The online scheduling system is f’ing disaster! Impossible to use - keeps getting stuck on page 2. It does not matter what browser you use. Their customer service is non-existent. The testing center I’ve used is fine, but scheduling is awful and they make it impossible to reschedule - probably so they can charge you a $50 fee when you don’t show up. Their locations are in the crappy areas of town.

ZERO STARS Terrible scheduling experience and subpar customer service. The website to schedule is faulty and does not work. Good luck getting through to anyone to help you in a timely manner. I just spent two hours on hold trying to schedule a test date, ANY date, and was hung up on at hour 2. The fact that I likely need to take an additional two hours out of my work day to restart the process and get my test scheduled is unacceptable. Way to make secondary testing accessible - not! Proctor-U was a better experience, and they left me during my break for 1.5 additional hours on the day of my last test. That says A LOT.

They cancelled my test after I drove 2 hours to the test center and after studying four weeks to be ready for the date. They gave me phone number for customer care that just left me on hold for hours. The online system will not allow me to reschedule either. Horrible experience.

they wouldnt allow me to take the test said i had technical issues. I had performed the test numerous times on my computer and it passed but i had 5 agent 4 didnt say anything they just kept switching agents. These agents are unprofessional had guys in background laughing they ask that no one else be in the room but agents had a room full of people. please hire professional people!!!!!!i lost my $35 messing with your agents. Took PA-CAT on 2 Nov with military voucher. They wouldn’t accept military ID as identification even though Exam Master (owns PA-CAT) website said it is acceptable. Kept switching proctors throughout exam. I got halfway and was prompted to take break. I made sure to text in the chat box I was doing so. They respond “ok” I go to break then have to use bathroom. Came back couple min late, couldn’t start test so I texted I’m back and they say you have to wait. I wait and security comes online and says I was 3 min late and kicks me out. I say, over 3 min? Seriously? And they say I can contact customer support they’re shutting the test down. I contacted CS, they were sympathetic and ask me if I was on scheduled break I say yes, but was 3 min late coming back. They confer with their managers, and say “did you see any of the test?” I say yes.. because it happened after finishing half the test. They say “ sorry we can’t do anything to help because you have seen half the test”. What in the world… I’m just going to retake it anyways. You would think that they would understand being late from the bathroom. Or at least give a warning? But no, kicked from a $200 test over 3 min. No cheating or any other issues and I didn’t even come back to a locked out screen because time was up, etc. They simply decided to not let me keep taking the test. Never had that happen at any other testing centers.

Zero stars. I scheduled a ParaPro exam two days ago for a month away and had to cancel that date. There seems to be no way to get a refund from Prometric that I have been able to find. I would never trust them to pay for a test with your own money. Definitely use the funds of whatever organization is requiring you to take this test.
