This company isn't transparent or honest to its customers, they keep pulling the " system is down, glitched out or will look in to it card". I have won about 6 auctions and processed payments to then be canceled on their end. Usually these are high quality pallets ( or they say they are) that are being canceled without my consent after fairly winning them. This company needs to Liquify its self ( no pun intended) or sold to a more serious and respectable company.

This company is an absolute scam. I purchased a wholesale jewelry box that claimed to have an "estimate" of $19.99-$29.99 MSRP. The "Chuns Jewelry" ear rings I received look NOTHING like the pictures and are not even worth $1 a piece. Of course customer service gave me the run around and refused to refund me. This company needs to be shut down because they are SCAMMERS stealing peoples hard earned money.

I bid on some house decorations for $5 because I thought my wife might enjoy them. Turns out I thought wrong- when I showed her a picture of them after I placed the bid she was not very interested. I ended up winning the auction, but since my wife wasn’t begging me to go pick them up and it would’ve been a 2+ hour round trip to get them, I decided to email the seller to let them know that **I’d still be paying for the decorations** but that they could be donated or even just thrown away. Apparently, this request was against the rules. The seller made me aware that she could not give the items away or toss them, she had no choice but to relist the items for auction and a refund was going to have to be issued. Mind you these are simple, cheap house decorations that you can probably find at your nearest Family Dollar. But I was like “Okay, whatever. Not a big deal.” However, after the refund was initiated, I received an email from GovDeals that was as stated: “One or more Sellers using the GovDeals Online Auction Service have reported to us that you have violated the Bidder's Agreement as well as the Seller's Terms and Conditions. Due to your defaults under the terms of said agreements, you are hereby notified that you are excluded and prohibited from using the Liquidity Services' Marketplaces online auction system. Any attempt to register and/or place a bid on our site will be construed as interfering with the performance of our business. If you undertake such activities, we will use all legal remedies available to us to prohibit interference with our business and contract relations. LOCKOUT REASON: Buyer did not want items.“ So I violated their Terms and Agreements, will “interfere with their business practices” if I try to make another bid on an item, and they’ll use all legal matters necessary to handle the situation… OVER $5 WORTH OF HOUSE DECORATIONS??!!! THAT I STILL PAID FOR???!! Customer support has ignored all my emails to clear things up.

Unsafe business practices. This business wants a full color copy of your driver's license to "verify identity". It is almost always a scam when someone requests a copy of your driver's license be submitted online. This site is unsafe to use.

Lots of scammers on their websites such as govdeals and allsurplus. Zero protection if someone scams you. No customer service. Even the people answering the phones confirmed to me that, they only answer phones they have no way of helping people in any case. Lots of sellers falsely advertise here. Also they hide between the lines that in any issue with a seller they will not be liable

Tried to sign up for an account, and they required a copy of my Driver's License. Seems real shady. It's not like I'm trying to purchase restricted items like alcohol. Also after reading all these reviews about potential bid manipulations, it seems real suspect

We are a local Sheriff's Office that is tax exempt due to being a government agency. Before winning a bid on expensive item, we submitted our tax exempt status which they indicated was approved. After winning the item, we attempted to pay and there was still tax attached. It is impossible to speak to anyone about the issue and they have no common sense in dealing with a government agency. To this date the company refuses to speak to us and repeat the same email asking for a letter of tax exemption which we have supplied 4 times. Avoid this business at all costs.

This company cherry picks their own pallets then sells the left overs to customers, they will throw in some good stuff initially to hook you then as time goes on the items get worse and customer service gets abhorred after while even service reps hanging up on you if you complain. They really sell a conflict of interest because they take their own cherry picked items and sell them on e bay and amazon sites called secondipity, never seen such a crooked company in my lifetime and can not understand how they stay in business, likely because of govt. contracts. It is also quite obvious that they bid up their own merchandise as everything seems to sell for around the same price when you buy it consistently. There are many fraudulent sellers selling merchandise on there as well so buyer beware, stick with more user friendly sites and you will be ahead.

Trust the reviews it’s a shady company. I was outbid 2 minutes before the auction ended. They definitely have people from their own company bidding on the more profitable items.

Userid Bid Date/Time Bid Amount e*****4 6/02/22 8:53:37 PM $15,200.00 w****1 6/02/22 2:03:35 AM $15,000.00 b*****1 6/01/22 9:38:21 PM $12,000.00 t*****e 6/01/22 8:06:15 PM $11,600.00 t*****e 6/01/22 8:05:13 PM $11,200.00 s*****1 5/31/22 12:14:20 PM $10,200.00 I have been bidding and buying on GovDeals site for years , I have noticed a pattern on occasion of what appears to be price fixing. Above you will note the 'bids' which you can see when bidding..on this particular vehicle I called the number listed as the owner a School Board member to ask a few questions about the vehicle. In the conversation I asked him what the 'Reserve' price was ( the minimum price which they will sell it) he stated $15,000. That amount is the amount that Govdeals would need to complete the auction. If you notice the bidding chart you can see that it got bid up to exactly $15,000 after the fourth bid. The bidders with a numeral '1' after the bids I believe are 'insider bids' to push the price up to the minimum for a 'sale' to which then Govdeals would get paid a commission for a completed sale. The odds that each bid up would end in a numeral '1' is extremely unlikely in a normal scenario. This lead me to believe that Gov Deals artificially 'inflates' the bidding.
