I have contacted ********************************************* verbally, over the phone, via certified letter and email to cancel my membership. 9 months ago I started contacting EFC tuition directly. They said they'd just need proof so I sent them a copy of the email. Then said it'd be no problem. I called them the subsequent 3 months later and they have never followed through. This is a company scamming martial arts studios. I even changed card numbers and they still found a way to charge me. So now they're blocked and fraudulent, but I still get texts that I owe them money.. bad bad bad bad business.

To whom it may concern, Due to sustaining a bilateral knee injury during training I cancelled my gym membership from ********************************************* ********/ Educational Funding Company on 03/03/22. I requested a verbal and written request to cancel my membership and yet they are charging me $195/ month. Attached is my doctor's letter to the school to show proof of being under his care and to refrain from training. Also attached is the school's contract stipulating that if a student sustains an injury and he substantiates this with a doctor's letter then the applicant's membership will be cancelled without any fees. Steven Sohn and his 3rd party billing service, Educational Funding Company are charging monthly unauthorized $195 fees to my credit card. I already initiated an investigation with my bank and filed a police report on 06/06/22. I have left messages to Steve S*** and he ignored the calls. I made attempts to directly deal with him and he refuses to cooperate. I am getting financially bullied by EFC and Steve Sohn and harassed by non stop billing after trying to cancel gym membership. Again, I sustained a bilateral knee injury from his class and all Steve S*** cares about is getting paid. EFC and Steve S***'s actions are clearly unethical, dishonest, immoral and they only care about making money without a care or concern for their customers. EFC and Steven S*** aggressively bills and never intends to stop. Please advise me with the next steps. And contact me if you need any clarification and notify me with future communications. Regards, ***************

Registered my kid for Karate Classes at the beginning of the year, the only reason why we tried out the place was because the "no long term commitment" , "termination of services at any time" and the "pay as you go" offers presented by the business at the time we start the classes, the business uses a 3rd party processor for Credit Card payments who is asking us to pay an additional 2 months even after we call and cancel the subscription, claiming it has to be paid, this 3rd party processor is now sending us letters to our home demanding us to pay for a Service we terminated on May 3rd.
