Just like all the other complaints on here, same thing happened to me, i just wish I looked up bbb first before talking to them. Recruiter Omer Lawson (supposedly real name) reached out to me for an "amazing opportunity " ...... all fake. It's a scam for them to fill their slots. I gave my 2 weeks notice month of December and now right before Christmas I have to tell my daughter why we have no place to live because I don't have a job now because of aerotek. They gave me a start date, had me give a 2 weeks notice to the job I had and then they never started me they kept telling me to wait after they gave me a start. Told me I would still be paid and they were sorry, still nothing. I'm really in a bad place because of Aerotek and this cannot possibly be legal. Very heartless to do this to someone right before the holidays. Don't let this happen to you and please do not take any job they offer you.Business response

I had accepted a position with aerotek that I applied for on indeed not knowing they were an agency, thinking I was going to work there, I put in my two weeks at my current job and the recruiter rushed me to finish my employment so I could start. On my "first day" of working for Aerotek I was told I couldn't start yet I had to wait til Thursday, so I waited and when thursday came I went to the position. People were telling me they never got paid, or there was fees taken out of the check even though they'd never been told about these things, while I haven't either, I'm getting texts from my friends saying they know people who worked for aerotek and had the same thing happen. So I quit, I do not work for free. Well it looks like Thursday 10/20 I did. I worked 7.5 hours and they don't plan on paying me at all.Business response

I worked for aerotek/aston carter for adhere health we were proerly trained for the job basically just thrown into were not told about you had to making calls to get paid your hourly rate as in alot of times it was at the fault of the company an the awful cheap equipment we were sent they were not run very well always messed up paychecks and wasnt upfront or honest about any detail about the jobBusiness response

I believe I was wrongfully fired due to health reasons- and I made an error during submitting my payroll in which I've emailed and been in communication and told that the matter would be resolved. I worked 8 hours on Monday 09/26- and 7 hours on 09/27. I reported only seven hours on the Monday slot by mistake. They have only paid me for seven hours and seem to be walking around paying me the other eight hours that I worked and rightfully deserve payment for.Business response

My name is ****** ******* I am a TIG welder I performed a job for Aerotek in the beginning of June 2000 22 to the current date July 13th I have not got paid they issued a check said it would be here in 10 days I never came I received a check yesterday July 12th on my birthday but they canceled it prior to that when the check didn't come in 10 days they issued me a cash card from Bank of America which they never loaded up I went to cash the check today on July 13th and they told me they stop payment they said they issued another check I have not got paid I've reached out the only helpful person at Aerotek that help me with Cindy by picking up the phone and communicating with me accounting and never called me back the manager you never call me back I perform the job but I did not get paid this is unfair it's been over a month I will check my check and due to this inconvenience I am now looking at an eviction because I couldn't pay my rent in fullBusiness response

I have been trying to get my paystubs from the agency because I need them for housing and for some reason I can't seem to get a copy of them. The agency tells me I have to go online and get it. I can't seem to get into the online account, they told me to contact the help desk. The help desk said they can't help me get in to get what I need. I called the agency back and told them that and they said they can't give that to me. What am I supposed to do when I am being bounced back and forth. I am hoping you guys can help.Business response

I called aerotek back in January of 2022 about my w2 forms they said I'd have them by the middle of February it is now April and passed the due date for taxes and I have yet to receive my w2 forms to file my taxes and now I assume if I do ever receive them I'll be charged for filing late but to this day of April 19 2022 I have not received any notice or information about my w2 formsInitial Complaint

I was a previous employee here at aerotek besides their great lack of communication even from the Human Resources team. I have been trying to get in contact with ANYONE possible in regards to receiving w2 form from employer. I have called left over 10 voicemails, whenever I call the Nottingham location lady at front desk is very rude and picks up the phone and hangs up, I have sent numerous emails to HUMAN RESOURCES, PAY ROLL, RECRUITERS and more in attempt to get in contact with someone. Company is very unprofessional. I am very aware w2 forms are sent through paperless employee but since I don't have access I have to be in contact with someone from Human Resources at aerotek and Aerotek has been giving me the hardest time ever sinceInitial Complaint

I was supposed to be on a 6 month contract with Aston ****** working at maximus federal. After being kept in training for 3 months watching videos..that didnt even apply to the so called job. After 3 months..I got a call last Thursday..that we were all being lay'd off..as of THAT DAY...and they would not be compensating us for anything. My last paycheck was supposed to be for 6 hours..($97)..which they kept from me comepletely claiming I owed for my benefits...of which I've noticed they double charged me for 6 weeks instead of 4 weeks for medical benefits. Ive sent probably 100 emails to my recruiter..and then some other lady that my recruiter passed me off to. sent them all my check stubs..showing that they have over charged me..and she just wants to keeep sending me the same emails..saying they werent wrong. First of all..I agreed for a percentage of my check to be taken towards my benefits... never would i agree to ..nor would i think..anyone would have the audacity to take my ENTIRE LAST PAYCHECK..so that now im concerned with how im going to pay my electricity. If taking 100 % of someones last check is legal...it should be an ethical decision..that someone wouldnt do that. I really dont expect them to correct this sitution..as its almost impossible to even be able to speak to my recruiter. but I just want others to see this ,..and hopefully not make the same mistakes i did working for this dispicable company!!Business response
