    Missing *************************** Bracelet/Seek compensation Monday 12/19 I brought items to sell at Plato's Closet ************************************************. Clothing, **** Shoes & a gold tone *************************** charm bracelet, which I placed in a clear zip lock bag. I was told ***** min for staff to "look through" my buy ( items I brought to sell). I shopped while I waited & purchased (1) ***** floral crop top, white/blue & (2) *************************** floral top, short sleeve. I then proceeded to the counter to purchase the items. I was told, my BUY was ready. I applied a portion of the credit amount from my buy $41 approximately, towards the purchase of the 2 tops. I asked if I could look through the black "buy" bin to see what Plato's Closet was taking. They said yes. The items they did not accept were handed back to me in the LULU ***** bag I initially brought into them. They accepted the clothing/shoes. I assumed the *************************** gold tone bracelet was with my "no" pile in my Lulu ***** bag as I did not see it in the "Buy bin". Once home, I noticed the clear zip lock bag I brought the *************************** bracelet in had NO bracelet in it. I called 12/21, 12/23, 12/26, 12/27 & 12/28 On the 26th I was finally told they would leave a message for the owner. I was not allowed to know the name of the owner or his hours in the store. " I was constantly given the run around with no definitive answer as to where my bracelet is. I was also told, they cannot go that far back to look into the security cameras. The staff informed me the last time I was in was April 22nd according to the system, which was not correct. Then magically when they went through a pile of their buys, they found my piece of paper I filled out (which was mandatory for my buy) on Monday 19th. Proof that I was in the store on 12/19.I would like compensation for the bracelet that disappeared. *************************** Vintage, retired gold tone charm bracelet , comparable retail $120. Average Resale Sold $35-$228.

    A bracelet was purchased from the complainant, in addition to other items. We have, on hand, an itemized receipt and her signature authorizing the sale of the items. If the item was still on the sales floor at the time she supplied accurate date and time of her visit to sell we would have happily returned it for the amount we paid for it. However, she initially listed the date of her visit incorrectly. As a result we were unable to find supporting itemized receipt and authorization. Once we had the correct information we identified the "buy" and pulled the paperwork from our files. We then identified the sku number and found it to be sold already.
