On Saturday, April 15, 2023, I was subject to incompetence on the part of two employees of Sandy Spring Bank in Rockville, MD of which Sandy Spring Bank personnel are aware of which provoked the disrespectful, bullying type of talk to me from another customer in the branch as well as other serious problems such as my being forced to commute to where it was I needed to get to by a certain time to take care of other important business late. The $250 cashier's check which took more than 30 minutes to get (from the moment of greeting the representative at the teller to the moment I was handed the check) had words on it misspelled that was brought to the attention of the second representative, the one who came to the window to assist. I also found a spelling error on the check after having left the branch and in my attempts to decide how to handle the issue as I needed to place it in the mail on the same day to pay for an important business related item. It was then in the cafe that the check without an envelope given to me got lost or stolen. From the moment of going into the Sandy Spring Bank in Gaithersburg, MD. in the morning of Tuesday, April 18, 2023 to request a stop payment on the $250 cashier's check and to obtain two other cashier's checks for payment of taxes to the IRS and Maryland State, I have had further serious issues (ones of discrimination or unfair/unjust treatment, failure on the part of the bank or branch to offer extremely important/pertinent information at the time of an important business transaction between myself and the bank, incompetence, lack of transparency, dishonesty, discourtesy, poor customer service, etc.) with Sandy Spring Bank from the level of the Branch Manager at the Gaithersburg location, ***** ******* to that of the Community Banking Executive, ***** **********. These bank associates are fully aware of the serious issues at hand and my promise to pursue the matter with you and others who address complaints.
