In the summer of 2021 I contacted Allied Remolding to have a deck and stair rail in the front of my home. The contract was signed and Kevin W******* stated that it would be completed before the holidays. It wasn't completed until December. Had lots of issues with the project manager Vinc T********* who wasn't a professional. Lots of emails back and forth and wasn't what I had expected. How ever the job was completed and the contractor who worked on site wanted me to sign the work completed form and I sign it after showing some of the issues they said don't worry if you have any issues Allied Remolding would stand for guaranteed work. I questioned the about the grass and the dug up grass that was messed up while they were working one of the men said you just need to put down some grass seed this is December and I said I am a senior citizen just putting down grass seed would be and issue for me and I also spoke to Kevin about the grass he stated the same thing. Also when the steps from the deck where completed the steps led directly into the mud and grass issue. Later when the weather broke and I was able to be out back more often I texted Kevin about some more issues I had seen and sent pictures of the issues he assured me that it wasn't a problem and it would be taken care of. As of today 04/22/22 it has not been taken care of. I had to pay some one to put down grass seed, and I also have to have a walkway from the steps and grass to the side walk. I paid Allied Remolding almost $15,000.00 for a professional job and that is not what I received. I am not satisfied I have given them more than enough complete the work. I want the work completed by a repatriable company and the additional finances covered. I also thing I should be compensated for the quality of work they performed, and also being mislead.

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/04/28) */ I already replied back that our service manager Artie G**** has been in contact with the customer. As of today he is scheduled to meet with the customer this morning 4/28 at 10am Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2022/04/29) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Allied Remodeling Arthur G**** came out on 04/28/22 and saw the issues and my concerns. He agreed to have someone from Allied come out to see what will be needed to correct some of my issues. He also agreed that my property will remain untouched by the people repairing my deck. The conditions they left my property in has been repaired and finished back to its original condition. Allied didn't agree to compensate me for any of my expenses or issue me any type of credit for my inconveniences and the long time it to them to return to correct my issues. They only return because of the compliant I filed with BBB about all the issues I had with their work. I will never use Allied Remodeling again. Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2022/05/02) */ The customer called in with issues that she wanted resolved. We have scheduled a time to resolve them. Now she is trying to use the Better Business Bureau to extort money out of us in the form of a refund check? Is this what the Better Business Bureau endorses? Her issues were aesthetic issues in which she notified us of 3 months after completing her deck. She also signed a completion certificate at the time of completion in December which I have attached. In spite of all of this we are going back and fixing her issue. This complaint should have been closed already (and truthfully never opened in the first place). Consumer Response /* (3000, 22, 2022/05/26) * Had an appointment to fix issues they were a no show Sent from my iPhone

ALLIED REMODELING OF CENTRAL MD., INC Had a new roof installed the end of May 2020, paid over $15,000. Held back part of last payment till Aug when they finely fixed all the flashing around all the dormers & chimney. In Feb 2021 Flat roof in back of house was leaking water dripping from ceiling, running down the wall and all over the floor, went outside and could see ice and water leaking out of the eave. Called Allied, told them about the leak & was told that because of COVID they would get someone out as soon as they could. First part of March the roofer came out replaced the drain and fixed the leak. I ask him what about the damage to the inside & the eave on the outside. He said we are roofers; their carpenter would have to come out for that. After a few weeks called Allied back to see about the damage to my house Artie or Kevin told me to text some photos of the damage. After several days I called back to see what was going on, at that time I was told that the damage was (Storm Damage) not their problem, call my homeowners insurance, I told them it was not storm damage, If the ROOF THAT WAS NOT EVEN 1 YEAR OLD YET did not leak there would not be any damage, you need to send someone out to look at it, reply was (Don't tell me what to do you can't talk to me that way. It is now March 2022 the roof is leaking again in the same place. Have had the USAA Ins. Adjuster out, it is just rain damage Estimate is just over $1750.00 in repairs, if there is no mold behind the wall. No one can repair it until the roof leak are properly repaired

I hired Allied Remodeling of Central MD (ARCM) to build a new deck. The project has not been completed as specified in the contracts. I forwarded a letter dated August 20, 2021 to ARCM via certified mail return receipt, but to date have not received a response. I summarize the issues as follows: 1) An enormous error was made in the construction of the deck. My contracts specified the installation of 4 post accent lights, but the railing was completed before the lights were ordered and without addressing any of the electrical work. To install the lighting at this time would require removal of the hand rails so that the wires could be run underneath the railing; 2) 2 benches built with exposed fascia; 3) Plastic black pedestal trim (left outer post) is broken and needs to be replaced; 4) Underground electrical box for the AC was damaged when the holes for posts were dug and needs to be replaced; 5) lava rock decking/railings were installed with scratches; 6) Tarp reimbursement

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/10/07) */ We received Mrs. ***** letter on 8/30 and twice left her a voicemail with no call back. We have again called her today and left her a voicemail. If/When she calls us back we can discuss her concerns. The benches were installed her contract and the railing lights are solar caps; it is all stated in the contract; there is no electrical work needed and none was promised. If a lower rail cap is cracked we can replace that. Customer is claiming that we installed the railing with scratches? We completed her project on 5/27 and she sent us this letter 3 months later. There were no scratches when we installed the railing; if there were we would have returned it do our supplier and received a replacement; we do not have any recourse 3 months after the job was installed unfortunately and this is the first we are hearing about an electrical box. This has now been almost 5 months since completion of the project
