Waldorf Toyota accepted my trade-in sight unseen when I purchased a used car from them. Since then, Waldorf Toyota's Tag and ********** has called me twice and left voicemails both times threatening that they would not submit my tag and title application if I did not bring in a check for the amount of my trade-in. A cash payment was never a part of our deal and is not in my contract. It is also Maryland law that they have to submit my tag and title paperwork within 30 days of delivery of the purchased car which in fact has been delivered. This legal requirement has nothing to do with the trade-in, so I do not appreciate the harassing voicemails. To clarify, less than 24 hours after I purchased my car, I did return to the office to discuss my financing options. However, I was dismissively told by the manager, ******, that "you're under contract," there was nothing he could do, and he literally kicked my family out of the building for no reason other than he didn't want to help us. (Please read my ****** review on 4/20/24 for more details about my family being kicked out). Anyway, because they were not willing to work with us on our financing options, our contract remained the same. Which again means they had no reason to call me demanding a check before they fulfill their legal and contract-binding responsibility of completing my tag and title paperwork. And to get ahead of any false response from Waldorf Toyota, they accepted my trade-in sight unseen and did not include any kind of delivery instructions or a delivery date for the trade-in. Therefore I am not in breach of the contract that, the manager, made it very clear that they wanted to stick with. They have no business harassing and threatening me with illegal actions.

Viewed the Waldorf Toyota website in Aug 2022 & found a SUV w/in budget & had low miles. At the dealership, I was met by Mike Rush. Looked over the SUV & noticed that a "check engine" light was on. Based on his statement, the light was related to an O2 sensor that needed replacing. He stated that the vehicle had passed State inspection & the dealership would replace the sensor. Acting on his word, I followed through w/ trade-in a few days later at which time, Mike R. told me that the vehicle was not ready. For the inconvenience, he extended a loaner car to me until the vehicle was ready. Two-weeks later, the SUV was not ready & was then told there was a delay in parts delivery. Meanwhile, the loan had already been processed & was still w/o the SUV. The small loaner was not conducive to my family. Not wanting the vehicle, Mike R. stated that I couldn't get out of the loan b/c of the "no cooling off period", Stressing the importance of having a SUV, he recommended that I chose another SUV. I chose a 2020 Nissan Murano that had about 62K miles. I drove the vehicle for about 5 mins around the dealership w/ Mike. It wasn't until I completed the new loan paperwork & was driving home that the "Front Emergency Brake (FEB)" warning light came on & once home I texted Mike. The CarFax report did not list any accidents. Two months after the purchase and constantly calling/texting Mike R. the problem has not been resolved. Passport Nissan of Alexandria reported that the front bumper had been replaced which is where the sensor is located. Informing Mike R., he directed me to several other representatives (Desmond, Kelvin, Tammy, Heather) whom I've contacted multiple times to resolve this issue & none of them have responded. I'm unable to use cruise control when the FEB is on & Majorie Fortin attempted to contact Mike R on 22 Nov 22 & he was not available. I've wasted too much time trying to get some resolution and this dealership has not offered any professional assistance.
