I received a mailer from TD Bank offering $500 bonus if I opened a checking and savings account and met certain conditions. On February 18, 2021 I opened the accounts following the instructions on the mailer. On March 5, 2021, I received e-mails that my ability to perform transactions was suspended and my pending transfers were canceled. My online access was also cut off at that point. I proceeded to spend weeks sending e-mails and making phone calls to try to get my account restored but nobody I spoke with would help me, one customer representative even told me that unless I went to a branch the $10,000 I had already transferred would be kept and not returned to me.Their refusal to pay the checking and savings bonuses is arbitrary and capricious. I clearly met the terms for the checking bonus, and I only failed to meet the terms of the savings bonus due to the unreasonable and unexplained suspension of my account.I request the $500 I am owed be paid immediately.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #********. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.

I also want to apologize to TD Bank for incorrectly stating that they had refused to pay the checking account bonus. I should have been more diligent in confirming the fact pattern I laid out in my initial note. Thank you to the team at TD Bank who researched and resolved the savings account bonus issue so promptly and professionally.

      Regards,

I used the drive thru ATM and withdrew 150$ and requested (3) 50$ bills. The bills came out and I completed my transaction! As I collected my $ my wife texted to take out another 150 for groceries! I inserted my card and as w the transaction before requested (3) 50$ bills! The machine shut down and spit my card out w no receipt or no cash! I checked my account online and seen they had 2 withdrawals for 150 when I only had gotten 1 and 1 never gave me my $! I left my car in the atm line and pushed the talk button to speak w the bank teller and she said to come in! I sat in my car and the machine came back on and had an error out of order message( still no money came out)! So I stated my claim and they claimed they couldnt open the atm to verify my issue and that it was an outside company that checks the outside drive thru ATMs and I had to wait about 10 days and my 150 would be back in my account! About a week later I get a piece of mail from TD saying my claim was not valid! Pls helpp

We bought a dining table from Ashley ********* and financed it through TD Bank interest free for 12 months. We called TD bank customer service and setup automatic payment over the phone on September 9th 2019 till august 2020 through **** of America through their agent ******, as per her I was supposed to pay $44.19 every month to pay off in full without any charges with interest free 1 year plan. But after a year they continued taking money from my account for the next 3 months without my permission. Since the payment plan was setup over the phone by their agent Ms. ****** till august of 2020 I don't understand how they managed to continue taking money from my account. So when I noticed that in my bank account I called them and they were unwilling to help so we called our bank and had to stop from further payments. As we talked to the bank and they contacted the business and ended up them reimbursing 3 payments and now they want us to pay late fees.

Approximately 3 weeks ago; I was a victim of bank fraud. I received a text from TD bank asking if I had made a purchase in ** (which I did not) and responded accordingly. I soon after received a phone call from someone impersonating a bank official, whom was able to recite my entire bank account number, and listed off several suspicious transactions. Fast forward to $935 removed from my account. I went to the local branch, closed accounts and opened new per the fraud department. I also filed a police report, at the recommendation of the bank. The fraud claim was denied TWICE with the banking institution trying to mix the terms of fraud and scam- both synonymous to most people. I called numerous times asking to speak to mangers and constantly denied further explanation or higher tier management involvement. Local PD even tried to help, to no avail. Deceitful business practice and clearly not aiding their customers properly.

I was informed about a fraudulent account being opened online in May/June of 2021 by a separate credit monitoring service. In my experience, TD Bank was uninformed about their own ID theft prevention and remediation policies, they were inconsistent with correspondence AND despite being assured that the fraudulent account had been closed by the local branch manager, I received a bank statement that claimed the account existed until its "owner" (WHO IS NOT ME) closed it in August - after receiving thousands of dollars in UIB. Unsure whether this situation is due to incompetence or corruption, either way - these are unacceptable business practices.

There were a few transactions that I have not done on my TD bank credit account. I called to dispute the transaction and the agent said they will file a dispute. Two months later, i got a letter saying that the account has been closed due to unpaid amount. I called the bank again and they said that there were no disputes filed. I am no responsible for any of the charges and they falsely charged me.
