Nordx Laboratory and Maine Health ************************ in *********, ***** charged me $179.08 for a routine urine sample on 2.22.23. This was part of my regular well-check exam. I was sent upstairs from the doctor's ****** to Nordx to give the sample. This was not my regular doctor and this was an unusual request. I had no way of knowing this sample (already part of my exam) would cost $179.08. This is absolutely ridiculous and deceptive, and they are not rectifying their mistake. It was submitted to my insurance as a separate visit and normally I am only required to pay $15.00. This is an expense that should not go toward my deductible. Anthem was simply responding to the order and it was Maine Health who is at fault for the incorrect order and cost. I will do whatever is needed on my end to help expedite this process of negating the fraudulent bill.Thank you for any help and guidance you can provide.************************** 317-6419

, I wanted to make you aware that NorDx billing & customer service BOTH need some serious help. I have to call every time I receive a bill from NorDx because it not billed to insurance correctly or at all . I had one bill that took over six months and multiple calls to get paid which is just ridiculous .Account # ********* dated 5/20/22 not paid until 12/22 I started calling in June and was assured that it would be taken care of called again in July same thing , called again in October still NOT resolved etc. Now I have 2 more bills that I have made multiple calls on that are still not resolved and am receiving notices threating to send me to collections !!!!!!!I also requested a callback from a manager named **** on 2/14 &2/21 and surprise no call yet ! So I guess your managers know there is a mess and just dont care about customer service. I am at the point where if I need labs I DREAD going to NorDx because its a hassle to get billing done correctly & on time. I look forward to your response and resolution of these bills ASAP.PLEASE PROCESS CORRECTLY & GET PAID !W41603555 V92908915

On 2/21/2022 I had a covid test done for pre employment and I had given the receptionist my insurance card and info needed for billing purposes. Since that time, I have received 3 statements that claim I have to pay. I've had 3 different encounters with the billing department of NordX and in the 2nd call I had provided my health insurance's (KP) billing department info again along with their extension needed to reach them to rectify the situation. ** told me that all NordX needs to do is call number and provide their billing info for the claim. I have yet again received my 3rd statement from NordX today. Again the billing department states my bill is on hold. My accession number is V42104840 with a balance of $110.00. Covid testing was fully covered by insurance at that time. This 3rd call entailed the billing person asking my for my insurance info again along with the address from my insurance company. She claims that she needs to talk to a ***** to see if she had gathered the address.

I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.
