      I have a Bissell product that is under recall. They are publicizing a replacement. When I sent the requested information and pictures they refused to refund or replace the item. Not right at all.

      I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Bissell regarding their handling of a warranty claim for my Bissell Pro Heat Spot Cleaner, which I purchased in May 2023. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue with Bissells customer service, I believe I have been misled and denied rightful warranty service.Summary of the Incident:I contacted Bissell customer service on June 3, 2024, to address an issue with my spot cleaner, which is still under the two-year warranty period. The customer service representative confirmed through a diagnostic check that the equipment was indeed damaged and initially agreed that it was covered under warranty.However, when it came time to proceed with the repair service, I was asked to provide proof of purchase. Unfortunately, I did not have the receipt readily available at the time, but I was certain of the approximate purchase date. The representative then inaccurately stated a different purchase date, claiming that my warranty had expired and refused to escalate the matter to a manager upon request.Further Attempts to Resolve the Issue:On further contact, after obtaining the credit card statement clearly showing the purchase date at Bed Bath and Beyond, Bissell's representatives insisted on needing a sales receipt, which I am unable to procure due to the stores widespread closures.Conclusion:This has been an ongoing issue with no resolution in sight, and the lack of assistance from Bissell's customer service team has been disappointing and frustrating. It feels as though the initial misinformation about the warranty expiry date was an attempt to deny a legitimate claim.I am seeking BBBs assistance to mediate this matter. I wish to have my spot cleaner repaired under the terms of the warranty without further delay or misinformation. I can provide all needed documents upon request.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

      I bought a Bissell spinwave cordless hard floor spinmop through Amazon. When it stopped working past Amazon's return period but within the warranty period Amazon passed the buck to Bissell. Bissell sent me a return Fed-Ex slip that they said would be free. It was not. It cost almost $20.00 to return the machinein shipping. Bissell sent me cleaning solution to cover the shpping cost. Unfortunately that is all they returned. Despite having my machine in their possession for weeks they refuse to return the money I paid for the machine itself in the amount of $122.19. I was told multiple times it was on its way and eventually told it was never "on it's way" but they would try and figure out how to pay me. I am still waiting and every time I call I am told something different.

      I bought a vacuum from them a year ago and it has slowly lost power since using it. Now the brush doesn’t have enough power to spin on my carpet, even when it is at the highest setting. My carpet is medium height at best. Just very disappointed, and customer service was no help since it is out of warranty.

      Received a floor cleaner (rotating head mop) for a wedding gift. Didnt work out of the box. Called customer service, they refused to exchange and calculated the warranty (1 year) from the manufacture date 2018 not the sell date 2021. *****, non-working plastic.

      This place is a disgrace horrible and I am warning people. I ordered a vacuum from here through ******** They said it was delayed but 7 days later still not sent. So a customer representative emailed me and when I responded never responded back. So they never refunded me or even shipped my product because its been in the same spot for 7 days. No wonder why it is delayed because it never shipped. So until I get my money back or a vacuum they stole from me. Horrible place you want that vacuum dont order from here. You will never get it.

      I am a long time Bissell purchaser and believe in Bissell program against animal cruelty. I wanted to purchase the BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus, 3588F directly from Bissell. It was on sale for $218.99. I have reward points accumulated to get a 10% discount. I contacted Bissell customer care on 12/1/2023 and asked if I can use the reward points with instructions on how to use them. He told me he doesn't think I could use the points with this item, but he will forward the inquiry up to the escalation team. I also sent several emails with the same quesitons. My only responses from a Escalyn were I needed to register my products to get the discount. I already did and ******* kept sending me the same responses. On 12/4/2023 I contacted customer care once again and asked about the reward points. This time customer care told me the item increased in price to $258.99. I told them I never received an answer about the reward points and I would have bought the item if I knew it was going ** in price even without the reward. It was sent to the escalation team, ******* responded on 12/4/2023 offering a 10% discount and free shipping. I replied that I never heard an answer about my question about the reward points, just repeated answers to register products I already registered or I wouldn't have had the reward points I also indicated I want to purchase the item at 12/1/2023 price. Escalyn still hasn't responded. This is "customer care" not service from ***** or ******** that Bissell thinks long time customers deserve.

      Horrible customer service! Forget about getting someone on the phone. Youll either chat with someone by email or some chat feature. They take forever to reply. Do not sign up for an automatic subscription to avoid shipping costs. They will send stuff separately, claim one is out of stock, and then charge you $9.99 per box. Then to try to get your money refunded for their stupid mistake thats going to take days. Good luck!

      The cross wave I purchased three or so years ago was a $300 dollars complete waist of money ... it left water behind from the very beginning of its use !!!!!!!! I am a product design engineer and I consider it a non reparable design flaw. Please give me my money back !!.... I will never do business with you again. Unsubscribe me ASAP ... ****** A very disappointed past customer....

      Purchased a cordless spinwave mop paid $156.01 on June 28, 2023. Horrible customer service since it appears to be nonexistent, The instructions show the handle as a separate piece, while opening cut through what looked like a twist tie that held the handle and mop together, found that it was the power cord and my new mop is inoperable.. I chatted online with associate *****, July 3, 2023. I explained what happened and she stated that she would need to submit to upper management for review and I would receive a response in 2-3 days. There was no further communication, after 10 days I returned the product on 30 day satisfaction warranty, paid for return shipping and free cleaning product which was not returnable and got an email for my return with a refund of $134.99. Three days later received a Bissell email from ***** stating that product was abused and is out of warranty. Bissell has my product and is holding my return refund hostage. I chose to buy directly due to lower price compared to Amazon and BBB rating but reading negative reviews here I don't understand why they would be rated A+, I will never buy anything from them again and demanding they pay my refund amount $134.99 immediately.
