      By far the worst retail company I’ve ever dealt with as far as a return is concerned. I ordered a vacuum through the company’s website (not third party). I ordered a vacuum and returned the item (unopened). Records indicate the returned item was received in Texas on 12/20/2024. Today is February 8th, 2025. I have NOT received my refund. I emailed customer care multiple times since December 2024. Originally, customer support stated the return would take 3-5 business days. Then customer support stated it may take two weeks. It has almost been two months and no return. No assistance with customer service. They give you the run around. If you are on the fence with making a purchase, please note the (almost two months now) of no returned funds.

      BEWARE; worst customer service ever. my bissell vacuum , still under warranty, has broken down. but instead of just replacing it and be done with it. . they are sending me (70 years old female) all the replacement parts and expect me to fix it myself. I know nothing about working on a vacuum and have no tools to do it either. THEY SUGGESTED ME DRIVING OVER 50 MILES TO DROP IT OFF AT ONE OF THEIR RERAIR SHOPS IN ANOTHER STATE. THEN THEY SUGGESTED I GO ALL OVER TOWN TO FIND A BOX THAT WOULD BE 5FT TALL AND 2 FOOT WIDE AND THEN GO BUY PACKING TAPE TO SHIP THE VACUUM TO THEM . NEITHER OF THESE ARE REASONABLE, CONSIDERING THE PRICE OF GAS. This vacuum was a disaster from the beginning; has pet attachments that I used to vacuum under the bird cage but every time I tried to use that attachment , the vacuum would fall over and hit my head/neck or back. when I reported this to them and explained that I have a nest injury from a car wreck, they offered nothing but to tell the design team about it. I asked for longer hose or attachments and they said they didn't have anything to fit my vacuum. I WILL NEVER BUY A BISSELL AGAIN.

      Regarding Bissell's recall of their steam appliance. They offered either a $60.00 credit for their store or a $40.00 cash repayment. Then they fixed their form so nobody could actually get that $40.00 BEWARE OF BISSELL. Their practices are sleazy. Every cleaning product I own I purchased from them but I will never, ever purchase from them again.

      I purchased a product which has a recall. I filled everything out for the recall and received an email saying they are reviewing my request and that I will hear back form them in the next 3 business days. It has been a good two weeks if not slightly over and I have yet to hear anything. I sent a follow up email in the same thread last week and still not response. I sent another follow up email today. It is unacceptable to me that they have a recall yet don't respond appropriately in the time frame they gave on their faulty product. I understand with a recall they must be very busy. They shouldn't say they will get back to you in 3 business days if they aren't able to.

      My vacuum is only a year old and it wont turn on. Bissell markets that it has a 5 year limited warranty. I submitted a repair request. After multiple correspondence back and forth they said I needed to provide proof of purchase to check my warranty status. I did and its been 2 weeks and I havent received any more responses or replies even through Ive sent multiple follow up emails and submitted a new request. Apparently Bissell doesnt at all honor the warranty they promise.

      Nothing against their products. Horrible customer service. First text chat I asked repeatedly (3x) for clarification on one of two options. They repeated the same sentence twice and then decided to do something WITHOUT my consent. (I have screen shots of the interaction.) Essentially, they stole money from me. Then they expected me to dispose of something which would cost me additional money (disposal fees) of something I repeatedly stated I did NOT want. Tried many times to contact them again. Spent 5+ hrs on hold. (That was in addition to the “call me back” feature) I was finally able to speak to a manager and was told they “are very sorry for this inconvenience and that we will fix this.” They did not. After another week I called again. Another hour + on hold. Talked to yet another manager. Worst one yet. He said “they will not take it back & that there is no hole” (there is, and I have pictures. Plus every other person and manager also agreed that there was a massive hole in the box). They said they will not do anything. At this point I just did yet another chat with another person to exchange the thing. Throughout this whole couple weeks of Hell, I have been promised additional % off. No one is going to honor that either. At this point I don’t care. I now have a bruised foot, tripping over this thing, trying to get it out! Buy from ****, or another store. NEVER buy from this company directly. A bout of COVID is less painful.

      Purchased an icon pet vacuum and within months it started breaking down, tools didnt work, stopped picking up etc. emailed on warranty, no response, on chat they told me to call. First call then send me the wrong vac, clearly refurbished with almost no battery life, never received new tools. Called multiple times, didnt get a call back, on hold for over four hours still no answer.

      I have a Bissell product that is under recall. They are publicizing a replacement. When I sent the requested information and pictures they refused to refund or replace the item. Not right at all.

      I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Bissell regarding their handling of a warranty claim for my Bissell Pro Heat Spot Cleaner, which I purchased in May 2023. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue with Bissells customer service, I believe I have been misled and denied rightful warranty service.Summary of the Incident:I contacted Bissell customer service on June 3, 2024, to address an issue with my spot cleaner, which is still under the two-year warranty period. The customer service representative confirmed through a diagnostic check that the equipment was indeed damaged and initially agreed that it was covered under warranty.However, when it came time to proceed with the repair service, I was asked to provide proof of purchase. Unfortunately, I did not have the receipt readily available at the time, but I was certain of the approximate purchase date. The representative then inaccurately stated a different purchase date, claiming that my warranty had expired and refused to escalate the matter to a manager upon request.Further Attempts to Resolve the Issue:On further contact, after obtaining the credit card statement clearly showing the purchase date at Bed Bath and Beyond, Bissell's representatives insisted on needing a sales receipt, which I am unable to procure due to the stores widespread closures.Conclusion:This has been an ongoing issue with no resolution in sight, and the lack of assistance from Bissell's customer service team has been disappointing and frustrating. It feels as though the initial misinformation about the warranty expiry date was an attempt to deny a legitimate claim.I am seeking BBBs assistance to mediate this matter. I wish to have my spot cleaner repaired under the terms of the warranty without further delay or misinformation. I can provide all needed documents upon request.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

      I bought a Bissell spinwave cordless hard floor spinmop through Amazon. When it stopped working past Amazon's return period but within the warranty period Amazon passed the buck to Bissell. Bissell sent me a return Fed-Ex slip that they said would be free. It was not. It cost almost $20.00 to return the machinein shipping. Bissell sent me cleaning solution to cover the shpping cost. Unfortunately that is all they returned. Despite having my machine in their possession for weeks they refuse to return the money I paid for the machine itself in the amount of $122.19. I was told multiple times it was on its way and eventually told it was never "on it's way" but they would try and figure out how to pay me. I am still waiting and every time I call I am told something different.
