Stay away from them! They sold us a 3 year maintenance plan. Nothing in written. We paid $1200 for a chimney inspection and cleaning. They denied to send a maintenance contract and one year later, they would charge us again for maintenance. But told us, next year will be free.Scammer! Service was advertised on FB. Contact only via Messenger.

This is my post to the local community where I live. Hi ********. I scheduled a chimney cleaning with *************************** who advertised his services on the ******** online yard sale. I just want to let you all know this is business that travels around the country and is not local. The initial estimate was fine but then other issues were discovered and we ended up paying over 800 bucks. The technician was really nice but as I was making payment I got a strange feeling about the whole thing. I looked up American air mavericks, the actual company, on the better business bureau website and this company has lots of complaints. Please be cautious if you are considering scheduling this company. Hopefully everything will be fine but Im feeling pretty concerned. ??

Dont use this company. Said they were local but theyre not. Worst deal ever. I refused to pay the $299 and said I would give them $150 and if they dont like it take me to court. Worst waste of money ever. One machine. It costs $1,200 I found while it was running for 30 minutes. So in 4 scam cleanings its paid for itself. They show ** in a ********** plated truck. Bad deal. Beware. I honestly dont know how you could tell what company it was. They dont tell you their name until youre writing the check. Oh ya. They wont take checks. After I had written it out. Then they charge a 3 percent fee. That was it for me. I got on and realized I was not the only person. If they show up. Do t have them do anything. Cause that is all they will do. Nothing.

How did 24/7AD Cleaning, (who charged my credit card, $1,910) turn in to American Air Mavericks? All contact was via text. The person who originally contacted (New York number, I live in ***********) me said he would inspect and clean or vents for $199 and to inspect the dryer vent would be another $50. That sounded reasonable, and expected to pay more than that. All said and done, $1,910.! , after cancelling on me twice! As the young man that did the work,(who showed up in an unmarked vehicle, not representing 24/7 AD Cleaning or a shirt with the logo) the price continued to grow. We could understand to a point. When he was almost finished, he said we should have a UV light to keep away harmful bacteria, etc...and that the cost is $700, but that he was on the phone with his supervisor to see if we could get a discount. He came back and said he could install it for $450. He did it. Also said we had black mold in the ac/heat unit. We are 70 years old and can't bend down or see well enough to see the "black mold". As he was working, he took pictures. i asked him to send the pictures to me. He never did. When he finished the job, which he did well and was very clean not leaving behind a mess, he never showed me an invoice of the break down of the services rendered. On his personal cell phone he took me to the place where I signed for the work! I NEVER RECEIVED A BREAK DOWN OF THE WORK DONE OR THE COST! I contacted the person who originally contacted me, twice, and asked if I would receive an invoice. Never got a response. I filed a claim with my **** of America Credit Card to flush this company out to get an invoice! Before the 60 days were up, company responded, produced invoice showing break down of charges to my BANK! $62.03 service fee? $170.88 TIP? I wouldn't agree to that! Please don't use this company! I have to leave a star? I wouldn't even give them one!

They arrived on time, assessed my very new wood stove and stovepipe, (< 4 years installed) and then showed me a picture of the stovepipe ( the person said HE took the picture, but he never went onto *******)! . I doubt it was my stovepipe, it was all covered with what he called crystallized carbon and that to clean it would be double the price quoted when I set the appointment up. I said NO I was only prepared to pay for the stove pipe brushing out, which is what I did ! I have no idea if they actually cleaned the pipe, but they used some smelly stuff to wipe down the outside of the stove, and vacuumed out ************ ! And left their creasote covered rags behind in my newspaper can that I use to start the wood stove fires ! Sad thing is they advertised as local people, but they werent ! Scam scam scam ! Beware !

Overcharged for a service that took 1.5 hrs and did an exceptionally poor job. Left dirt and debris through the house, no protection nor the correct tools. Dirty hand and fingerprints on walls and ceilings. No way to contact the administrative office.

9-14-2023- ***************** I feel stupid for falling for this scam off of ********* The gentlemen arrived, hooked up his machine to one vent and proceeding with another machine through the house. I seen no dust coming out. He did try to say that to sanitize and clean around the furnace it would be a great deal and be healthier for a low cost of $599.00. I told him as I was quoted $210.00 and that was all I was paying. The left the biggest mess all over my floors and did not even bother to clean up after themselves. Someone needs to stop this horrible company.

I feel so dumb for not coming here first to read everyone's post. Everything that everyone posted here, happened to me too. I feel like a ******. They supposedly have a branch here in ****.I called ************ number on their fake invoice. Scam. The number the "Operator" called from - 888-5**-5202. Scam. This so-called guy named ***** "*****" that is struggling with his English, who has this thickest *******/************** accent, put me on hold, hung up on me, pretended to not hear me, gave me this bogus supervisor's number ************ - scam. This number is not in service. Wow!Scammers never get tired. I'm with everyone on this page.

WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!If there was an option of giving negative rating, I would have given that. Within 5 minutes of the cleaner entering my house, I realized I have been scammed. This company gave our neighborhood a so called package deal in which air duct cleaning and dryer vent inspection was part of it.For air duct cleaning he hooked up a big machine to 1 of the vents and claimed that it will **** the dust out of all the vents automatically. I told him that I don't see any dust coming through, he mentioned that you can see the dust only when it is deep cleaned and this is basic cleaning. In short he did nothing but just hooked up a machine for 30 minutes which did not collect any dust. For dryer vent inspection (since our outlet was on the roof) he climbed the stairs and stood there (never got on the roof) and said "I can hear there is no problem with dryer vent". The dryer was running at that time. Basically he inspected a machine by listening to it from 2 Ft. away. He never took the dryer out to inspect it as he kept on claiming that he is not insured and if it breaks he'll not be responsible. We were scammed of $199 for getting nothing done.
