We had a patio and deck installed in our backyard. My wife and I were pretty new to this and relied on MI Remodelers expertise to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. The owner was very communicative throughout the process and advised us on areas where we could save some money, and others where we should spend a little more on quality materials that would last longer. I couldnt be happier with them and will be using them again.Review from Janice P

Had MI Remodelerd come out for a proposal/quote for a roofing job. Representative stated we had three layers of shingles and needed a complete tear off which would require 3 dumpsters. And with that proposal/quote if any wood needed to be replaced it would be $100 a foot.Had two other companies come out after them. I specifically asked how many layers where up there without giving the information we got from MI Remodelers and they stated we only have one layer.When I called back I was told from MI Remodelers that the representative said if we had three layers. The word if was not even in the conversation. He couldnt tell? This information was told to me two days later when I called and asked how long the representative has been doing this. They stated many years. Because of the other 2 companies who came out after and stated we had 1 layer of shingles I felt compelled to write this response.Then MI Remodelers stated we would only need two roll offs instead of three. Why 2 now with 1 layer of shingles, made no sense. Tried to give us another $500 discount, just because of the misunderstanding. No misunderstanding on our end, wrong info given to us in the first place,I could go on but you get the picture. Trying to take advantage of this senior citizen, and no they didnt.Review from Kent R

We have hired MI Remodelers 3 times in the last 3 years and have been very pleased with the workmanship. We had a leak around the chimney which they repaired with a custom made piece. They completely gutted and installed a new bathroom and family room that was destroyed from a pipe leak and it looks beautiful. They also built a new deck. They were prompt and communicated with us along the way. I will hire them againReview from R. R.

Set up for them to come and do an estimate. When the guy (*****) was 20 mins late I called them because they didn't bother to call and say they were running late and they informed us he would be there any minute.After he came he set up an appointment to come back and go over the estimate with us because he had to go back to the office and go over the details with his team. We set up a date and time for the next week which I had my calendar out while we were doing this. The date came and after an hour I called and they informed me that our appointment was for the next day. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that I could have written down the wrong date and said okay. That night, 14 hours before our appointment, ***** called and informed us that after going over our project with his team, they couldn't possibly do our project. I was shocked!!! I called the next day and the lady who I spoke to couldn't understand from the notes why we were told this but did say that they don't do jobs under 5k. I informed her that our other quotes were in the 12k-15k so that couldn't be the reason, but she did speak to an owner who offered to come out and go over things. I told her we would think about it and call back if we wanted him to come back.THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFFESSIONAL COMPANY THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH AND WE HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH SEVERAL CONTRACTORS LATELY AND MANY HAVE DISAPPOINTED, BUT THIS COMPANY BY FAR HAS SHOWN TO BE THE MOST UNPROFFESIONAL IN OUR OPINION!!!

I spoke with your employee, ***** (who was the most helpful and professional employee you have in my opinion), she can relay the whole story to you. Also, I am not interested in having you come and complete the project after the experience I had with just trying to get an estimate.Review from Matthew B

This place is a sham! They subcontract all their work out and do not pay their guys,. They were short on everything that was needed to do and complete the job.Review from crystal B

Mi-remodelers just completed a sidewalk at our home. I would like to thank them for the terrific job they did. The finished product enhances the beauty of our home. I wonder why we waited so long to make this vast improvement to our home. It is much nicer than I had anticipated!
