    Needed brakes, heater core, ball joints. Brought my 2012 Dodge Avenger to Plymouth TGK on 11-28-23. Received vehicle on 02-20-24 -heard loud noises & spilling coolant. My vehicle died on the side of a road on 02-23-24. Had it towed to Grandview, Edina. Grandview found the alternator was damaged because of the engine R&R that was done. They found multiple fastening bolts of the engine loose & missing. Multiple electrical & fluid lines were not fastened down & were touching parts of the engine. I paid TGK, for parts & labor for repair of my ball joints, my ball joints were not done. Grandview notified me that the oil filter housing is an outdated oil filter that is not used on the market anymore because of inconsistency. On my invoice from TGK, it says I received spark plugs, which I did not ask for & was charged for. TGK did not notify me about parts of my vehicle that they had admittedly broke until after I had paid & I had reviewed my invoice. Knowing that I paid for the repair of my ball joints & did not receive the service, makes me question the work they did. Grandview notified me that there are still severe problems with my heater core. The interior of my vehicle after receiving service from TGK has severe damage. There is USB ports missing, severe scratches, tears in the fabric & leather, dashboard lights on that were not on previously. Besides the faulty work from TGK on my engine -the interior of my vehicle is now damaged. I requested that I be paid in full from the faulty work that TGK did because it isnt a matter of if I got into an accident. It is a matter of when I couldve gotten into an accident based on what was given back to me. Requested TGK payment for the damaged alternator I had to have repaired & tow to Grandview. I have pictures of the damage from my ***************** parts, I have an inspection report from my Grandview mechanic exhausting the faulty work that TGK did. I did not get a response from TGK after multiple attempts.

    I have been patiently working with the ************* ** TGk auto for years. They have replaced the ** compressor in my older car, 3x and it is bad again. Each time working on the car, they seem to cause other problems that result in money out of my pocket. How does that make sense? Once, I got it back with the engine light on. When I went back and said what caused this, the tech told me, he saw that one, but sent me home with it on anyway and without telling me. They don't care, or they do not know what they are doing. I offered that an as explanation, they may not have the expertise for an older car. This led to them Blaming the car, rather than themselves, while still stating they can work on older cars. I wanted my money back after taking it back again and they trying to talk me into spending more money with them, saying, well, if we honor the compressor warranty, it will cost you this much more for us to recharge etc. I wanted to believe in this place, but feel as though I have been taken advantage of as an older person. I took it elsewhere to verify the compressor is bad for the 4th time, and again I can't trust they can do it right. I am also having trouble finding a corporate number to call to complain. They are no longer franchises, but owned by Sun Auto. Thanks, and help would be appreciated.****, **** *********
