US Bank location on Payne Ave in Saint Paul. I have been a member with US Bank for some years now. I came in to deposit my check with cash back, which is my normal routine every two weeks for years now. I spoke with the branch manager, who was not looking to override my payroll check and allow me to get half of my funds. I left out the door but being short cash, I decided to take the two hundred dollars that the manager said was available today until the check cleared. I came back & spoke with a female teller, who ran my check and said, "Let me see what your non-US Bank check cashback amount is." "One thousand dollars," she said. I only needed half. I'm not sure what was going on. "Let's do half the check, please," is what I told the second female teller. The security officer yelled from across the room, saying I could not get that amount and I could only get the $225 that teller one just told me. My issue was with the unprofessional security officer yelling rudely at me, which was very disrespectful. I have never yelled back and forth across a room with an employee. It seems the bank needs to ensure service training is provided for this employee. I asked him to mind his own business because the female teller was the one who offered me more money; I did not ask for that this time around. Yelling at me from across the room, not to mention not one employee intervened while this man was yelling in the bank that hired him to also represent them. Even the bank manager's door was open, and no one came out to tell him to relax. The female teller was the only person telling me not to worry about it, assuring me that she would help. There is no explanation for his involvement in my interaction because the teller was addressing me. His actions were presumptuous, especially since no security issue was present. It was clear that his actions were beyond the scope of his duties, as there was no justification for his confrontational attitude or intrusion into my personal space.

So I get that a missed payment or late payment is the customer's fault. But life happens. When a person misses a payment by 2 days I believe a bank should have the decency to help there customers out. Unfortunately US Bank is not one of those companies. I work hard for my money and 2 days past is enough excuse for them to take an extra $41 dollars!? That was almost as much as the payment itself. That's seems quite greedy to me personally. Is the billions of dollars US Bank makes of of its customers not enough? Is the CEO's trust fund running out!? Come on, be better humans please. I don't recommend ever banking with US Bank or using them for credit in any capacity.

bought an RV in 2021 and financed it through U S Bank. I paid on this account and was never late with a payment. My sister's husband died and she asked me to move in with her. I did so and decided ided to sell the RV because I would not be using it. They gave me the same price that I would have paid for all the total years of financing, no discount for early payment. I called them and asked what did I need to do to just let the RV go back to the dealer. They told me that all I needed to do was tell them where the RV was located and they would come tow it. That was all I would have to do. They called it a Friendly Repo. They made me think it would not go against my credit and I would no longer owe on it. They came and towed it away. A few months later they sent a bill to me for $12000.00 saying they sold the camper and I owed the difference. I wrote to them and told them that I knew they could have gotten more for it and according to what they had told me I was not responsible for the debt. I did not pay it. I would have kept the RV and paid it off if they had not lied to me. Then t by my tried to cheat me out of the 12K. I never saw a bill of sale showing what they sold it for. They ended up putting this as a bad debt on my credit and ruined my credit of which I have always been very proud. I want people to be careful and not to trust this bank because it is crooked in my opinion

I would rate them minus 10 if it would be an option I am at the age when I can easily say that I have experienced multiple US bank accounts, credit and loan services for over 25 years. I have worked with nearly every major credit company that there is. I have never had such a horrible experience in all of those years. The first problem, nothing offered for solving problems at all - horrible customer service. They do not process payments in a timely manner. When it takes at least two weeks to post a payment WORSE BANK EVER FOUND

US Bank cares not about customers. I've banked at US Bank for over 40 years. Hardly ever caused them any problems. I deposit a check which turned out to be fraudulent and without notice they closed both my personal and business accoujtd. Freezing the money I had in there with no word how long I get it back. Too little time to have my VA disability and other pay into a new account until July 1. No word when I will get my pay for June. Uncooperative getting answers. RECOMENDATION.: DO NOT USE US BANK one star is the minimum to get posted they earned far less than one

This would be the last bank I would bank with. Talk about incompetence. I have been receiving someone's mail for over three years. I have contacted their customer service number (six times), written to their Office of the President, in addition to every piece of mail (over 25) I have received marked "person does not live here" and sent back. Would you believe this incompetent bank literally sent me a letter stating, "If you continue to receive this person's mail, please contact our customer service department." I am now going to research a regulatory agency to contact since this violates consumer privacy laws.

Terrible customer service. Impossible to speak with an actual person. Even when you think you're close to talking to someone, it asks you what it's about, then goes back to giving you useless information and doesn't connect you to anyone. One more car payment and I'm through with this bank forever.

Unable to login into my mortgage account. I talked with someone on the phone, they could not help me. Just a bad company. I am great at resetting usernames and passwords, but it is almost impossible to login into a mortgage that has existed for 17 years. My payments come, thats it.
