BBB Concerning US Bank-Caldwell Idaho I will never do business with this US Bank, Caldwell branch again! On June 19, 2024, Mr. Jeremy M called me as I had just driven to my financial advisor, to finish updating and amending our trust. I had been in his bank a couple weeks prior to discuss with him That I needed time to update the trust. I called the morning of June 19, and left a message with one of the tellers, that I would be There later that day. That same day, I had just driven into the parking lot of my financial office, when Jeremy Moore called, and informed me he had blocked my bank accounts. No prior warning!!! I walked into the financial office, crying because of Mr. Moore’s actions and attitude. The person I was working with in my financial office, called him, told him we had been working prior to this on the trust. Mr. M verified to her, he blocked my accounts. Why? Accounts are blocked for fraud, non-payments, overdrafts, I felt his demeanor in and out of the branch, was offensive, Disrespectful, totally unprofessional, and insensitive. I was emotionally Upset by his action and attitude. We have been with US bank for over 30 years, With No overdrafts, no non-payments, no fraud, excellent credit, so why was I not treated as a valued customer? My daughter went into this branch the next day. He totally denied That he blocked my accounts. The issues I have, why didn’t he give me a Prior warning, date this needed to be done, and why was I treated so Disrespectful? We went to the Nampa branch, the atmosphere, service, Is totally different and more how a valued US Bank customer should be treated.Review from Elijah L

It appears as though I do business with US Bank in multiple ways. We have had a home loan since 2002 and are pleased with how that has gone. Cut and dry. We have credit card too. No issues. Unbeknownst to me, US BANK owns a pitiful little Point of Sale company called Talech. I've had the displeasure of using them for my small business and in the last 48 hours, I've reached my breaking point. As far as I can tell, there is NO customer service beyond the tier 1 folks who are friendly and empathetic, but can do nothing beyond help with very basic issues. (Because that is their job and that is fine) What is not fine is not being able enter new merchandise, print tags for new merchandise, edit details or delete existing products, or download a product list. The "New" Talech is a JOKE and should not have been rolled out in February. I hope that US BANK will get a handle on this little subsidiary (or whatever it is to you) and make it better. And I desperately hope I can get someone's attention who can help me. It is hard enough to keep a small business afloat when all things are working properly, let alone when the MAIN component of your business operation is essentially inoperable.Review from James R

US Bank has been fined nearly $300 million in the last 10 years for falsifying loan documents and denying access to funds by people issued debit cards by the government during Covid. In my own case, I was on a "mortgage forbearance program" and US Bank was not allowing me to get off that program. They knowingly sent documents to the incorrect address, failed to properly credit payments, kept "pyramiding" me with additional requirements every time I satisfied any requirement, tried to get me to add my present wife to a mortgage that was bought before we married, and held up the sale of the home by withholding the payoff statement. Then, when they saw that they were threatened with a lawsuit, they told the three credit bureaus that my house was "sold after foreclosure", which is a complete and utter lie. My attorney is preparing to sue US Bank for failing to correct the lie about my home being sold under foreclosure---no foreclosure actions were ever undertaken by US Bank, because they knew they would lose big time in court. So they gave false information to the three credit bureaus in clear violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. If US Bank doesn't retract its lies, I am going to end up owning a fair chunk of US Bank.Review from Jamie P

Extremely poor customer service. I paid off my car loan in the amount of over $10,000. Just to be noted, the loan started much higher and the bank was never given a late payment. With that being said, I paid it off on June 22nd being told it will take 10 business days with shipping time to arrive. I called back July 9th and was told essentially that if I don’t get the title I’ll have to file with the dmv a lost title… they gave no guarantee of anything that I’d receive the title they supposedly sent on July 2nd and they will not guarantee a reimbursement if I had to pay for a lost title thru the dmv. They sent it thru regular USPS (not certified) and now state they had the option to send it via certified but I didn’t clarify that would be what I preferred. The representative I spoke to on June 22nd never gave this as an option. I find this extremely unprofessional and they clearly do not care about their customers. I spoke to 4 different representatives (Erica, Alexis, Laura and Melissa), who essentially said their policy is to send the lien and that they are obligated to do nothing else.Review from ANTHONY H

I am leaving a very bad review on us bank!! I keep getting $36 over draft fees even after I cover any negative balances same business day! I don’t have over draft protection because of my poor credit and is bank keeps allowing charges to go through from several sources I do business with even if I have no money in my account causing several $36 over draft fees which they refuse to reverse!! US Bank has cost me a lot of money by them doing this and allowing this to happen even when I have told them not to allow these charges because I don’t have over draft protection! Regardless, I covered my negative balances by end of each business day and I’m still getting more $36 over draft charges that they refuse to reverse!! I have no choice but to close my business account with them because of their poorly operated business!! They are not fair and will try to come up with any excuse to keep you with every $36 over draft charge that is made to your account!!!!!! I am very upset and extremely disappointed with US Bank!!Review from Mark J

Went to location on s campbell to withdrawl cash out at 7:15. As usual atm wont let you withdrawl cash, only deposit. I was going to have my direct deposit sent here (wife slready does) but since this isnt the first time this atm wont let you withdrawl xadh out Im hoing to a local bank in Springfield MO where i wont have this problemReview from Michael N

TAKE YOUR MONEY OUT OF US BANK QUICK THEY HAVE NO MONEY!!!! I had an account with US bank that I opened here at the warm springs location. long story short $2,000 was stolen out of my account back in August of 2023. Tito Santiago who I do not recommend working with, because every time I go there to get my money (which should be insured from fraud and FDIC insured... ) he is dodging my calls or "on vacation" is what I'm told. This needs to become a legal matter now. The money was taken out of my LLC account so I should contact my attorneys now... Tito is very unprofessional, Tito doesn't help, US bank hire-ups never reached out to me. he told me 2 months ago he has my money. They are literally playing games and holding my money. How is this legal? If I were you I would RUN to the bank and WITHDRAW YOUR MONEY QUICK! never want to do business again with Tito, the warm springs branch or US Bank!!Review from Faye M

I’ve had us bank for many years. My online banking app would not work when I tried logging in, I called over and over for help. I was told each time I had to wait 3 days after I tried to log in still not being able to. I couldn’t see my account I couldn’t pay my bill. I called and called trying to resolve this matter but no one helped after long hold times with each call. So my last conversation with us bank I ask for the pay off and close my account with the interest added and paid my account in full. The interest rate is unbelievable!!! Ok now I thought all is over with this corrupt company, but no!!! I can’t see on my online banking because they never helped me get back on line. So today I get an email I still have a balance with late fees, just off the phone after being on hold for an hour. They are looking into it! I’m not paying any more to us bank. I’ve never been late on any payments!!! They said I was late when I paid the account off over the phone, well it took days for anyone the help me.. CROOKS!!! I called earlier this morning, the 800 number to US Bank. And wow she just sounded like she had an attitude, like she didn’t want to be there, exhausted. I am here to say customer service is everything, branding your calls is eveything, asking customers is there anything else they need help with. Do they not follow scripts ? Or there calls not listening to on for improvement. She sounded horrible, nasty attitude she had.
