      In October 2023, I ordered two resistors and a prototyping board for my graduate class. A day later I received an email from Digikey that I provide them w/ my bank account information, driver's license, and social security number. The utter hubris of such a corporation to ask for this information for a simple purchase. As a response to them wasting my time for a day, I returned them the favor and wasted 30 minutes of a customer service rep. *** it should be noted that Digikey is not setup or prepared to properly store that kind of information. In regards to my order, I found it from another American supplier who sold the three items cheaper than Digikey and without the hassle.

      If I could put zero I would. We have been line down multiple times because of Digi-Key. We have had this material on order for 6 months. 1 week before its due to ship they give us a cookie cutter response telling us its now unavailable with no redate. They confirmed the order 6 months ago!!!! $100k project down the toilet.

      I strongly disapprove of this company. I ordered 3 cameras from DigiKey. Close to 2 months now the cameras are yet to be received. I recently got an email from a drug enforcement agency that my package is being held. This is very puzzling. I ordered the cameras online, I have never seen or handled them. The only people who have handled the package are DigiKey and DHL (that ******* hired to deliver the package). I have reached out to ******* and DHL, and they have essentially told me to deal with it, that it is my problem not theirs. Very confused. Why am I having to deal with a drug enforcement agency? For a package I have never handled.

      Dishonest company. Placed an order for parts and they sent incorrect parts. Called to inform them and get shipping info to send them back. (The parts I ordered were $28 and the ones they sent in error were $2400.). Days later they email an order confirmation for the $2400 of parts charged to my account! So, their error is now a problem for me. Customer service is poor and not helping. I will never buy from them again and can truly say BUYER BEWARE. Fortunately, there are many other companies that sell the same items that are so much easier to work with.

      I would NOT recommend this company. I ordered software from them and it's been 132 days later, still no software. I've been told from the start that they were not able to provide me with the digital download and I would have to wait for a CD in about 12 weeks. ************************************************************************************* with a date. After excuses and blame on other departments within their company and also their vendor, they then informed me that the digital format of the software can be emailed to me. They also gave me excuses for supply chain issues. For digital software, that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. A lot of promises of supervisors to call me back and they end up going on vacation and not having anyone else follow up for them. This has also continued with their managers as well. Promises of getting the program the next day and yet finding another day I have been lied to. Calling them back has become the broken record of finger-pointing and some other department failing to deliver. I finally got a hold of the manager again today after speaking to a rude supervisor and he tells me yet the same story that someone else failed to call me back while he was on vacation.

      First time customer and I have an awful experience with reps and market place order; $10 for shipping for some diodes and they have no shipped yet 5 days later I am still waiting. received no info about my order and reps were so unhelpful. They could not alter the shipping process or give credit back so I could order from another company.

You should have received a shipment confirmation yesterday via email. In case you did not, I emailed an invoice copy with the tracking number. Your shipment is scheduled for delivery on 10/29/21. The order shipped within 5 business days as indicated on our website, however, I see it does not clearly indicate 5 business days, so apologize for any misunderstanding. I'm sorry your experience with our customer service agent was not satisfactory either.
