      I have experienced serious problems very similar to previous complaints that I have read on your site. I sent a very special book (my father's life history) with very few available copies to have a non-destructive scan created. I received an email on November 29th confirming that they had received my book and that the scan would be completed in 5 to 9 business days. I heard nothing and sent an email requesting an update on December 18. They said they were running behind and the scan would be delivered by the next Wednesday. On December 27th I received an email saying they had to purchase new equipment that would arrive by January 10th. I did not hear anything and sent an email on January 25th asking for an update. I called on January 26th and my call was answered. (He was driving and seemed to have picked up my call by mistake.) He said I would receive my scan that day. I did receive the scan along with a message that my book would be returned in 4 to 8 business days. In reviewing the file I found multiple pages were not scanned properly and I asked for those specific pages to be rescanned. I have now sent multiple emails and messages through the website. I have also called multiple times and left messages. I have never received a reply. I feel that I have been extremely patient in trying to work with Blue Leaf and I am being completely ignored. I am now extremely worried that my book has not been returned. Again, it is very difficult to get copies of this book. While I would like the work to have been done properly and with quality I will settle for just getting my book back. I would appreciate any help you could provide in recovering this valuable book for me.

      I placed an order for a scanning service and received an email on September 28, 2023 stating my book had been received and the service would be completed between 8 - 12 business days days.It's been almost a MONTH and I have not been able to get hold of anyone from this company.Tried email, phone, Skype and Messenger. on MULTIPLE occasions. The skype and Messanger do not work. There is no "chat" option although the site says there is. I used the telephone number on the site and left numerous Voice Messages, etc. I also used the email address on the site AND the form on the site to send MULTIPLE requests for status and that someone contact me. I left my phone number as well. I paid in advance for this service and have confirmation of payment by Paypal. This book is a hard to find directory of alumni and cannot be easily replaced, IF AT ALL. I am VERY concerned about this com how this important event is now spoilt due to this company lack of customer service.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I contacted the business on several occasions and have yet to receive back the book I sent to be scanned. In addition, I contacted them about the quality of the scan they performed and the fact the .PDF version was returned as images vice a standard .PDF that acrobact can OCR.

      I have also been contacted by another cutomer who also did not receive her book back after ordering non-destructive scanning as I did.

      The business promised to send my original book back and it still has not arrtived.

      Please keep this complaint active.

      Order Number: ***** Payment Made on 09/12/23 Book Received by Blue Leaf Publishing on 09/15/23 *********** website, order fulfilled within 10 days for receiving book.To date, I have not received any communication about my order. I have left several phone messages, sent several emails, and used the contact form on their websites. The last contact I made was by phone and email on 10/9/23.I followed all handling instructions from the company to have my book scanned and made payment up front. I would appreciate receiving contact from the company and having my order completed or having my book returned and payment refunded along with shipping charges made to ship the book to them. Your assistance is appreciated

      After filing a claim with the payment processor Paypal, the business completed the service and I no longer have a pending uncompleted issue with the company. I dont know what additional steps need to be taken on my end, but at this point I am satisfied with the resolution.

      I placed an order for my book to be scanned last month in May and was emailed that my book had been received and was told that the scanning should be completed in **** business days. It has been long past that and I have recieved no updates or communication from the company since that initial email. I am 89 years old and have cancer so time is an essence when it comes to completing my book publishing project. If I would have known it would be this unproductive I would have never sent in my book to this company. I am so worried because this is my property and if I do not get the service I paid for I would just like my book to be returned to me. I only have 1 other copy. I have called and left voicemails as well and there is no response. I am worried about my health and am leaving the responsibilities of publishing my book to my granddaughter since I am struggling to do so. I need *********** or I need my book to be sent back immediately.

      I submitted an order (order# *****) on 3/16 to Blue Leaf Book Scanning (***************************************************************) to have one, 120-page book scanned and received confirmation that they received the hard copy of the book. They require payment upfront, in this case of $111.39 (receipt attached). Their posted turnaround time for book scanning services is 5-9 business days. As of 4/20, after multiple voicemails, emails, and form submissions on their website, they have been entirely unresponsive. Given that I have been unable to get any response or update on my order for over a month, I have to conclude that this website must be an elaborate scam. Please put out the word to protect other unsuspecting buyers from making the same mistake that I did. Thank you.

      It appears the complaint is valid.

      At that time we had received an unusually high number of orders which had put ** way behind our posted lead times.

      While I do not recall receiving emails about this order, upon investigating I do find emails from 4/17 and 4/19 requesting information.  Our failure to communicate cannot be explained.

      The final order was delivered on 4/25.
