      My surgeon fees for DOS 04-25-19 were $8,736.24. $63.671.00 for the Surgery Center. There is a 90 day global period after surgery and post op visits should have no charges. I was seen 2 weeks after surgery for my first post op visit on 05/14/21 and was charged $3,400.00 and on subsequent post-op visits I was charged 05/21/19 $131.00, 05/21/19 $1,666.28, 06/05/19 $447.35, and 07/17/19 $447.35, Total $6,091.98 When I questioned the fees the office manager told me that these were procedures and can be charged. If looking up my nose after a sinus surgery is a procedure I disagree. I was not informed of and did not agree to any additional fees I am requesting a refund and would also like to file a medical complaint.

      The doctors are good. You can expect billing to be a mess. They wanted me to pay upfront, which I did in the form of a check ($5000.00). They told me my insurance company had an excellent hearing aid benefit, which they do. They told me they would file with the insurance company and send me a check once the insurance company paid. What they didn't tell me is I needed to sign ** for my insurance company's program prior to getting the hearing aids. Unless they choose to fix this, I'm out the $5000.00. Plus, I've been sent a bill for $5000.00, which I guess they expect me to pay.

      As a result of this report and a letter I wrote to SoundHealth (addressed to *********************************, the ***** I received a phone call from ****************. During our conversation, he apologizd for the confusing situation and the bill for $5000.00. He told me that bill was a mistake and he had it cancelled. Then ****************, along with **** from their *************************** told me they had already talked with my insurance company. They would be following up with them and assured me I would be contacted with an update. Regardless of how this plays out, the fact that they called me and expressed a strong desire for a resolution speaks volumes to me. The sincerety of both of these gentlemen was very obvious. While I was quite prepared to write more letters to several agencies, I can see clearly that will not be necessary. I asked for attention to my situation, I asked for action. I received both.
