I stayed 3 nights at the Days Inn in Market in Hannibal MO and I am a smoker who got a non smoking room so I smoked outside of the room where the cigarette ash tray was located, and where there were clearly cameras located to see that I went outside of the room to smoke. But when I went to get my deposit back they claimed that my room smelt like smoke, which the room smelt.bad to begin with but not like smoke I didnt thing, but they claimed it did and said I had to make a police report to have a complaint filed in order to maybe get my deposit back. I felt like this was unnecessary protocol when they could clearly check the cameras and see me smoking outside, instead they want me to bother the police who have way more important matters to tend to them coming and smelling a nasty smelling room that smelt like something, but definitely not smoke from me smoking in the room. It was a complete scam on their part, their word against mine and they had proof on cameras of me smoking outside but would not look.

I called yesterday on our way back from your facilit in Hannibal, MO. I called and made a report to Eve via telephone. We were appalled with your facility and by so I also expressed my opinion that someone needs to go to that location ASAP. Clear this up so no one ever has to go through what we did for both 2 *********** & *** as we needed connecting room due to traveling with teens that these rooms are unfit to charge anyone to stay in! I am attaching copied of my receipt as well as some of the photos I took. Upon arrival we did not inspect or stay but a few mins at the your hotel. We selected one as it appeared to be the closest to our event as we were in town for the youth Pepsi bowling tournament. Upon check in, room 101 was very cold. We tried both phones from each room to reach the front desk but neither phone worked. My husband went to the office. The gentleman working formed us it was a heat pump system and would warm up. We were only there a very short period as already around 3 pm. Just enough time for the girls to change and hear to the Ten Pin Alley for the tournament. By the time the tourney was over, Went out to eat was well around 10 upon coming back to the hotel. The girls were getting settled in. They did not want to shower as the bottom of the tub was so filthy. The decided skip bathing. As we got settled for bed, now closer to 11 pm my daughter ( they have queen ***** was freaking out as there was a BUG in her bed. We got the bug and flushed down toilet. We looked throughout and did not see more bugs anywhere. If it was not for being as late as it was we would have walked out and went somewhere else. I have attached several pic of the conditions of the 2 rooms. You can see mold on the ceiling. Holes on the walls. Burn marks on the carpet in room 102. Inside the mini coffee pot is so filthy I would not even let me dog drink out of it! The chair in room 101 looked as it belonged to a cat. One room had a clock that has visible filth all over it.
